Experimental Determination of the Landé g-Factors for 5s^2 ^1S and 5s5p ^3P States of the ^87Sr Atom

We present an experimental determination on the Lande g-factors for the 5 s^2 ^1 S0 and 5 s5 p ^3P0 states in ultra-cold atomic systems, which is important for evaluating the Zeeman shift of the clock transition in the ^87Sr optical lattice clock. The Zeeman shift of the 5 s5 p ^3 P0-5 s^2 ^1 S0 forbidden transition is measured with the π-polarized and σ^±-polarized interrogations at different magnetic field strengths. Moreover, in the g-factor measurement with the σ^±-transition spectra, it is unnecessary to calibrate the external magnetic field. By this means, the ground state 5 s^2 ^1 S0 g-factor for the ^87Sr atom is-1.306（52） ×10^-4, which is the first experimental determination to the best of our knowledge, and the result matches very well with the theoretical estimation. The differential g-factorδg between the 5 s5 p^3 P0 state and the 5 s^2 ^1 S0 state of the ^87Sr atoms is measured in the experiment as well,which are-7.67（36） ×10^-5 with π-transition spectra and-7.72（43） X 10^-5 with σ^±-transition spectra, in good agreement with the previous report [Phys. Rev. A 76（2007） 022510]. This work can also be used for determining the differential g-factor of the clock states for the optical clocks based on other atoms.

The Transfer of Land Contractual Management Rights in Ethnic Village--A Case Study of Ya'ergou Village in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region

Based on field survey in Ya'ergou Village,Yuanzhou District,Guyuan City,the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,we analyze the status quo of the transfer of land contractual management rights in this village,and study the basic information,form,characteristics,and problems concerning the transfer of land contractual management rights in this nationality village.Then corresponding countermeasures are put forward for promoting the transfer of land contractual management rights in ethnic village as follows:strengthening the publicity of the policy in order to improve farmers' ideological understanding;raising the rent in order to promote the transfer of the land contractual management rights;diverting the governmental investment to the talented people within village;consolidating management and resolving disputes in the transfer timely and effectively.

THE LAND USE INVESTIGATION IN TIBET PLATEAU USING REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY

Tibet Plateau is Known as "the Roof of the World" with the area of 1,220,000km^2, which is about 1/8 land area of China. Because of the high elevation, cold climate and it caused difficulties in regional economic planning and land resources management. Since 1985, the land use investigation in Tibet has been carried out, in which the basic data and thematic maps must be obtained and completed at county and township levels, in order to meet the needs of local administrations. In the investigation, remote sensing technology was comprehensively adopted. At present, the investigation in county level had been completed and the compilation is going to be carried out. Due to paying a great attention to studying on a series of key technical problems, the systematic methods of using remote sensing technology in the plateau land use investigation were formed and successfully put into application.

The Land of Shu:Where Tang Poetry Rose and Fell

During the Tang Dynasty,the land of Shu was composed of the Ba and Shu areas,which were adjacent to present-day Hanzhong city of Shaanxi province to the north,northern Yunnan province to the south,Wushan county of Chongqing to the east,and Xichang city of Sichuan province to the west.In the nearly 300 years of rule under the dynasty,a number of poets,whether they were born or just worked and lived there for a short period of time,wrote many immortal poems,which constitute an integral part of Tang poetry.They range from Chen Zi’ang and Wang Bo of the early Tang to Li Shangyin,Wen Tingyun,and Wei Zhuang of the late Tang.The land of Shu is,therefore,the witness of the rise and fall of Tang poetry.

Underground space planning in Helsinki

This paper gives insight into the use of underground space in Helsinki,Finland.The city has an underground master plan(UMP) for its whole municipal area,not only for certain parts of the city.Further,the decision-making history of the UMP is described step-by-step.Some examples of underground space use in other cities are also given.The focus of this paper is on the sustainability issues related to urban underground space use,including its contribution to an environmentally sustainable and aesthetically acceptable landscape,anticipated structural longevity and maintaining the opportunity for urban development by future generations.Underground planning enhances overall safety and economy efficiency.The need for underground space use in city areas has grown rapidly since the 21 st century;at the same time,the necessity to control construction work has also increased.The UMP of Helsinki reserves designated space for public and private utilities in various underground areas of bedrock over the long term.The plan also provides the framework for managing and controlling the city’s underground construction work and allows suitable locations to be allocated for underground facilities.Tampere,the third most populated city in Finland and the biggest inland city in the Nordic countries,is also a good example of a city that is taking steps to utilise underground resources.Oulu,the capital city of northern Finland,has also started to ‘go underground’.An example of the possibility to combine two cities by an 80-km subsea tunnel is also discussed.A new fixed link would generate huge potential for the capital areas of Finland and Estonia to become a real Helsinki-Tallinn twin city.

Ghost Marriage in Twentieth-Century Chinese Literature： Between the Past and the Future

This article examines the adoption of ghost marriage （冥婚） as a literary theme in twentieth-century Chinese literature, arguing that this theme reflects a set of changes in perceptions of temporality from the premodern to the modern period. As a traditional ritual of holding marriage for the dead, ghost marriage embodies premodern views of time and space wherein the living and the dead are perceived as coexisting in parallel spaces, and the boundary of life and death is seen as transcendable through the extension of kinship. In this way, the dead are kept within the family, maintaining the warmth of familial relationships that transcend being and non-being. Modern authors, promoting a linear view of time, have taken up ghost marriage as an anchoring point of nostalgia for an unrecoverable ethics-based society. For instance, Yan Lianke＇s 阎连科 1994 novella Searching for the Land （寻找土地） announces the utter corruption--and therefore the death--of ethics-based society, suggesting that the only alternative is to confront the future as a road to hope rather than indulge in an illusion of the past. Through an analysis of Yan＇s novella, this essay discusses how the theme of ghost marriage fits into the broader literary context of the early 1990s while also anticipating some of the distinctive elements ofYan Lianke＇s subsequent novels.
