This motion has the effect of reducing the current efficiency of the cell, and increases the distance between the an- ode and the cathode. Using the time-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and the K-e model of turbulence this paper numerically calculated the distributions of velocities, pressure, turbulent kinetic energy in the cells and deforma- tion of the interface of cryolite and metal. These results may be used to control the process of production and to improve the design of the cells.展开更多

A series of simula- tion re...In order to investigate the effects of trace gases on climate variation in the atmosphere, we have devel- oped a primitive equation two-dimensional dynamical climate model with five levels. A series of simula- tion results and discussions are shown in this paper, indicating that the model is useful and can correctly reproduced the main feature of the general atmospheric circulation and its seasonal changes. In addition, we have discussed the role of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau on the formation process of summer monsoon in South Asia and found that the thermal effect of the Qjnghai-Xizang Plateau may not be the main factor controlling the onset and the variation of the summer monsoon in South Asia.展开更多

The calculation accuracy has been improved by taking into account the effect of complex eigenvalues on the incident normal mode field. From the comparison between different scattering models it has been shown that the separable bistatic-backscattering model is acceptable. This makes it possible to calculate reverberation by using only the monostatic-backscattering coefficient and to save greatly the computing time.展开更多

By comparing balance heterodyne detection with general coherent detection with MATLAB numerical simulation, the superiority of balance heterodyne detection system is proved theoretically. Finally, the simulation models of ordinary heterodyne detection, balance detection and double balance detection system are built by OptiSystem. The simulation results are consistent with the conclusions derived from the mathematical analysis, which provides a new method for the research of weak laser detection technology. </div>展开更多
