Research and Practice of Course Reform in English Majors of Colleges and Universities from the Ideological and Political Perspective

There is an urgent need for high-quality talents with ideological and moral character for the development of higher education and the cultivation of English majors who meet the requirements of the times.The course reform in English majors from the ideological and political perspective is an important way to improve the comprehensive quality and moral values of students,which helps to cultivate English talents with social responsibility and innovative abilities.This paper analyzes the problems in the current courses through literature review and field research,such as the lack of ideological and political perspective and low interest of students in ideological and political content.Based on these issues,taking the course“Comprehensive English”as an example,various teaching stages were practiced from the aspects of learning objectives,learning content,learning situation,implementation ideas,implementation effects,and teaching evaluation.Additionally,some suggestions are proposed,such as integrating ideological and political content into the entire process of teaching.The teaching staff needs to possess high-level English teaching ability and ideological and political perspective,standardize the evaluation system,and integrate epistemology into the evaluation process of ideological and political education,in order to promote in-depth research and exploration of ideological and political education of English majors.

With the continuous progress and development of the times,China's social development is more and more rapid.Among them,the implementation of the Marxist concept of popularization plays an important role in promoting social spiritual and cultural development and maintaining social stability and progress.Education,as an important driving force of social progress,especially higher education,integrates the concept of Marxist popularization in its ideological and political education,which plays an important role in improving students'spiritual and cultural literacy,and provides an important vitality for the realization of Marxist popularization in China.This paper analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities from the perspective of the popularization of Marxism,and explores how to innovate and realize Marxism in ideological and political education in colleges and universities.

Globalization as a Social Utopia： Towards the Modem Sociological Criticism of a Mythological Discourse

The article presents a social analysis of global transformation processes. The global transformation processes are treated as contradictory. These processes are not as positive as the negative impact on the system of modem societies. Globalization as a popular ideology is based on the mythologizing of global neoliberal pseudo-integration, standardlization and unification. Thus it was formulated mythological discourse of global changes research. Apology of this mythological discourse became the intellectual foundation of globalization as a new social utopia. The article presents a critique of the mythological discourse of globalization. The ideology of globalization is interpreted as social dystopia.

Nationalist-Religious Ideology and Civic Education:The Israeli Case

Are we riding the fourth wave of democracy,as predicted by Toffler(1984)and Huntington(1991),a post-capitalist,post-global wave?Western liberal democracy is currently responding to the dramatic change in the economic system after capitalism,the coronavirus pandemic,and the growing power of nationalist and fundamentalist ideologies.Does this process indicates a change in Western democracy or is it the end of democracy and what is the role of civic education within it?In Israel,as in other Western countries,the nationalist and fundamentalist ideologies(gained strength,undermining liberalism)threaten the conception of global citizenship and strive to shape a model of an illiberal democracy.In Israel,contrary to other Western countries,they also threaten civic equality and the very existence of the democratic rule.In the absence of a constitution and consensus,Israel is experiencing culture and religious war over values,identity and the concept of“citizenship”as a legal,political,and social framework.Thus,the struggle over civic education reflects the struggle over educational hegemony,as well as over national hegemony.In this process,nationalists and fundamentalists initiate anti-democratic legislation,violate human rights,obstruct government supervisory mechanisms,and expand ideological education in order to change Israel‟s character to a Jewish state rather than a Jewish and democratic state.

Unprecedented Emergence of the World Structural Contradictions

In recent years, profound and complex transformations in the world order have emerged on the global landscape, which are marked by the following attributes. First, strategic tension between the major powers,namely China and the US, is unfolding in a more notable way than ever before. Second, conflicts between the public and private enterprises in the economic sector are deepening. Third, globalization is at the crossroad,featuring contradictions between nationalism and globalism. Last,uncertainties of the future world reflect also in the debates over conflicting concepts and ideologies.

地域文化融入高职院校课程思政的教学实践探讨——以阿克苏职业技术学院护理礼仪课程为例

做好课程思政是高校专业课老师面临的重要课题。文章以阿克苏职业技术学院护理礼仪课程为例,探讨课程思政教学的新路径、新方法。教学实施过程中,把以“柯柯牙精神”为主的阿克苏地域文化元素融入教学目标、课程内容、课程资源和教学模式中,以调查问卷方式调查学习效果,并梳理项目实施的积极意义和存在的问题。结果显示:实验组学生对本地文化思政内容更为关注,表现为本地就业意向、本地经济文化熟知度和教学模式满意度等方面有显著提高,但学生对当地的时事新闻、经济和文化关注度相对较低。具有地域特色的思政元素融入课程教学是高校课程思政建设的一条有效途径,对提高学生对当地经济文化认知度和促进在当地就业具有积极的意义。

“影视片段教学+合作学习模式”在妇女保健学课程思政建设中的应用

为探讨“影视片段教学+合作学习模式”在妇女保健学课程思政建设中的应用及教学效果,采用便利取样法选取丽水学院护理本科专业2020级学生为对照组,实行常规课程思政教学方法,同专业的2021级学生为试验组,采用“影视片段教学+合作学习模式”的思政教学方法,并依据实施性研究综合框架(CFIR)设计思政案例评价问卷及思政课程教学满意度问卷,对学生考核成绩、思政案例、思政课程教学满意度进行评价。结果显示:学生成绩方面,保健知识测验、保健计划制订、保健论文成绩及总评成绩,2021级学生明显优于2020级学生,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);在思政案例评价,教学内容、教学方法满意度上,2021级学生明显优于2020级学生,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。研究表明:“影视片段教学+合作学习模式”的思政教学有助于思政教学方案的更新完善,提升思政教学效果。

数字游戏作为当代大学生主要的文化消费和娱乐休闲方式,已经成为形塑大学生社交关系和价值序列的关键变量,映射了当代大学生数字化生活的诉求转向。数字游戏是积累多源、异构、海量数据的有效载体,促进场域融通的持续性资源和链接多维场景的技术手段,具有升维数字化转型的独特优势。然而,囿于数字游戏与高校思想政治教育的嵌合张力,数字游戏与高校思想政治教育数字化转型之间存在的观念裂痕与理论缺位、技术错位与治理异步、话语冲突与叙事困局等困境,致使高校思想政治教育对数字游戏形成被动静默形象,遮蔽了数字游戏的数据潜力、技术价值和场景优势。因此,数字游戏与高校思想政治教育数字化转型耦合共生的基本要义在于转变思想观念,主动开辟数字游戏新阵地;驱动数字游戏内嵌于高校思想政治教育数字化转型的演变逻辑,释放耦合动力;将主流叙事的认知图式嵌入数字游戏文化的新范式,通过情景叠加的叙事触达学生生活世界,在数字游戏与高校思想政治教育数字化转型的耦合共生中释放共创的内驱力。
