Theme park development has become an important choice for tourism space development in Chinese cities,and the theming of space as well as the implied consumption symbols and cultural implications are usually viewed as examples for the development of other urban spaces,such as cultural tourism towns.The result is the Disneyization of urban tourism space.With the construction of characteristic towns being vigorously promoted throughout China,cultural tourism towns are springing up.They are typical of the“Wuzhen Town Mode”and represent the process of the Disneyization of tourism space in China.This research reflects on the evolution of the characteristics of tourism space in China.Taking the Wuzhen Town Mode as an example,this study reveals the characteristics and conversion mechanism of the Disneyization of tourism space in Chinese cities.According to this research,the Wuzhen Town Mode of the Disneyization is characterized by theming,hybrid consumption,merchandising,and performative labor.Residential function is a unique characteristic of the Disneyization of cultural tourism towns in China.Moreover,the Wuzhen Town Mode of the Disneyization is jointly motivated by the driving force of local governments,the propulsive force of tourist demand,the attractive force of the social environment,and the driving force of capital.Finally,suggestions and policy proposals are provided for the Disneyization of tourism space in China. 展开更多

Tourism soundscape is a new field of tourism landscape research, soundscape designs offer new concepts for the landscape research and development. Taking China Dinosaur Land in Changzhou City for example, visitors' perception about soundscape comfort in theme parks was studied. The researches found that acoustic comfort was infl uenced by objective parameters of sound and subjective perception of visitors, and when the soundscape volume stayed at a certain threshold value, visitors would gain the most satisfi ed acoustic comfort experience, and they were most sensitive to sound elements that able to convey cultural connotations of the theme park. On this basis, this paper adopted positive design, negative design, and zero design, and proposed the concepts of optimizing theme park soundscapes. 展开更多

From the establishment of first meteorological theme park-Xiamen Huwei Mountain Meteorological Theme Park in 2009 to the end of September,2019,11 meteorological theme parks have been built in China.There are 12 meteorological parks under construction and 10 shelved projects.China put forward the concept of meteorological theme park earlier in the world,and the construction of meteorological theme parks in China started from Xiamen Huwei Mountain Meteorological Park.The construction of meteorological theme parks in China has experienced the germination stage,initial stage,development stage and normative stage.Main construction experience contains:paying attention to top level design and overall planning,emphasizing leaders'attention and experts'participation,concerning multi-party linkage and coordination,and strengthening media momentum and extensive publicity.The main deficiencies are the lack of brand awareness,the diversity of names and weak folk identity.But seen from the perspective of development,the future prospect of meteorological theme park construction is very broad.In the future,the following countermeasures should be taken for the construction of meteorological theme parks in China:overall planning for approval,highlighting personality and characteristics,strengthening propaganda and grasping popularization of science,enhancing connotation and bringing benefits into play.It should combine meteorological science popularization with regional culture,use new media and other channels and ways to establish brand and expand influence,and build regional meteorological science popularization base. 展开更多

At present,Chinese theme parks are popping up more and more.There are not many theme parks in China that can operate stably for a long period of time.The development prospect of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park is good.However,the question of how to maintain and improve the competitiveness of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park,attract more visitor volume,and create the most attractive theme park in Nanning is the question of the future sustainable survival and development of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park.This paper combines theory and practice,referring to a large amount of relevant information and literature from home and abroad,and summarizing the existing experiences and achievements.Therefore,visitors who have visited the ASEAN Legends Theme Park at Fantawild Joy World in Nanning were selected as the respondents.Firstly,this paper synthesises relevant theories such as service quality theory and(6W1H)customer behaviour.A set of questionnaires was designed for the visitors of Nanning Fantawild.The study analyzes the factors affecting the service quality of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park as well as the factor analysis of customer behaviour.Based on the empirical research and analysis of the results,methods and suggestions for improving the service quality of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park are proposed.This paper uses SPSS statistical software to analyze the results by means of reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistics analysis,and analysis of variance.The results were concluded that the customers’overall satisfaction with the service quality of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park is shown in the question phase of each level dimension,with the reliability dimension showing the lowest level of satisfaction.It is of great practical significance to improve the competitiveness of Nanning Fantawild ASEAN Legend Theme Park in China.Finally,there were no significant mean differences in the relationship between different gender,age,education,status,income,and service quality dimensions. 展开更多

In this study,a model based on multiple regression analysis is developed to forecast the tourism traffic volume of theme parks.First,the macro,meso and micro factors affecting traffic passenger volume are analysed.Second,SPSS software is used for multivariate regression analysis on data for 10 theme parks from 2014.A tourism traffic volume forecasting model is then proposed.Finally,related data for 2015 is used to validate the model,with results showing a prediction error of 14.1%.All results show that the model has a high predictive ability. 展开更多

This article uses the examples of guide maps,so-called autothemed rides,and apps to examine the aesthetics of theme park metatexts,that is,medial representations of theme parks or parts thereof that are produced by the parks themselves and that serve as a medial interface between the park landscape and its visitors.Such theme park metatexts have frequently been employed as sources in theme park research,but have only very rarely been figured as objects of research themselves.Based on Lukas’s description of theme parks’representational strategies as a“politics of inclusion/exclusion,”the essay argues that theme park metatexts stress certain aspects of the park while deemphasizing others,and thus have a major impact on the way visitors anticipate,experience,and remember the park.This applies to more“traditional”forms of metatexts such as printed guide maps,which are handed out for free to theme park visitors,to“autothemed”rides,in which the theme park represents itself in the medium of the theme park ride,but especially to theme park apps,which not only further intensify the“politics of exclusion”of,for example,guide maps,but also involve the visitor in their selection processes. 展开更多

长江国家文化公园是传承和弘扬长江文化,推动新时代文化繁荣发展的重大工程。以长江国家文化公园涉及13省市为研究区域,运用耦合协调度模型、相对发展度模型、逐步回归模型和地理加权回归模型测量文化旅游吸引力和数字经济发展水平耦合... 长江国家文化公园是传承和弘扬长江文化,推动新时代文化繁荣发展的重大工程。以长江国家文化公园涉及13省市为研究区域,运用耦合协调度模型、相对发展度模型、逐步回归模型和地理加权回归模型测量文化旅游吸引力和数字经济发展水平耦合发展状况,并探讨其影响因素。结果表明:(1)十三省市文化旅游吸引力评价指数处于0.05~0.8,呈“弱势区”和“强势带”交错分布的空间格局;数字经济评价指数处于0.04~0.75,整体水平偏低且空间差异显著。(2)文化旅游吸引力与数字经济水平的耦合协调值在0.25~0.9,大多处于中高水平,自东向西由极高水平协调向极低水平协调变化。西藏、云南等8省属于数字经济滞后型,江苏和浙江为发展同步型,青海、重庆和上海3省市属于文化旅游吸引力滞后型。(3)对二者耦合协调发展的影响程度大小排序为旅游服务设施>交通通达程度>经济发展水平。 展开更多

新时代背景下,推动休闲旅游农业高质量发展是促进乡村振兴的有力举措。研究选择江苏玫瑰主题创意农园:南京玫瑰园、鹅湖玫瑰文化园和天下玫景,通过网络文本分析法,在大众点评、美团和携程网站获取2017年3月至2023年2月的有效网络文本共1... 新时代背景下,推动休闲旅游农业高质量发展是促进乡村振兴的有力举措。研究选择江苏玫瑰主题创意农园:南京玫瑰园、鹅湖玫瑰文化园和天下玫景,通过网络文本分析法,在大众点评、美团和携程网站获取2017年3月至2023年2月的有效网络文本共1 811条,结合实地调研,总结出三家农园的认知主题形象,构建园区形象负面情绪影响因素模型。分析发现:(1)影响玫瑰主题创意农园的负面因素包括内部因素和外部因素两方面:内部因素为景观质量、服务管理和附属设施的建设情况,外部因素为自然因素、交通条件和地理位置的影响。(2)存在问题:经营现状过度商业化,建设内容同质化严重,园区形象与建设性质错位,主题形象塑造不够鲜明。(3)提出改进策略:在内部经营建设方面,挖掘玫瑰文化,彰显农园特色;削减娱乐项目,合理设置门票;强调主体植物,增设硬质景观。在外部因素影响方面,整合周边资源,体现地方特色;调整开园时间,关注花期天气。 展开更多

已有关于旅游体验真实性的研究在客观真实性、建构真实性、后现代真实性和存在真实性之间争论。文章从价值共创理论出发,关注旅游体验真实性的主体性和互动性。选择清明上河园作为研究案例,通过对游客网络点评资料的分析,以内容分析法... 已有关于旅游体验真实性的研究在客观真实性、建构真实性、后现代真实性和存在真实性之间争论。文章从价值共创理论出发,关注旅游体验真实性的主体性和互动性。选择清明上河园作为研究案例,通过对游客网络点评资料的分析,以内容分析法识别旅游体验真实性的共创情境,以扎根理论方法抽象出游客的操作性资源及旅游体验真实性共创结果。研究发现:(1)旅游体验真实性共创情境由物理环境、其他人、文化特质、时间、空间、关系六个元素构成;(2)游客的操作性资源包括已有经验、期待和知识,旅游体验真实性共创过程体现在游客对物理环境的凝视、与其他人的互动及对文化活动的参与上;(3)共创结果包括再现真实性、情感真实性、创造真实性和生命历程真实性四个方面。研究结果为历史文化公园管理方进行产品开发和促进游客参与体验真实性共创提供借鉴。 展开更多
