The understanding about the creation of our universe is explored in many philosophies, natural sciences, religions, ideologies, traditions, and disciplines. Current natural science cannot answer this question at the f...The understanding about the creation of our universe is explored in many philosophies, natural sciences, religions, ideologies, traditions, and disciplines. Current natural science cannot answer this question at the fundamental level. In this work, we combine the ancient Chinese Tao wisdom about the creation with quantum physics. We propose that everything comes from the emptiness. Our universe is manifested from the emptiness through two pairs of duality measurements: space and time duality pair and inclusion and exclusion duality pair. From this understanding, we are able to derive one mathematic formula describing our universe. It also yields a new metaphysical approach to derive and interpret string theory as well as produce more testable predictions from string theory. This work gives a new way to understand and mathematically describe how our universe is created and evolved. It provides another way to comprehend the meaning and function of space and time. It indicates that our universe is manifested from the emptiness through human actions. Space and time is a pair of duality action and codes that help manifest our universe. Also the author will call the set of all regions of universe filled by elementary constituent particles of the quantum system the occupied path. Always any quantum system is existed at a head of its occupied path. This path is growing by mutual filling and leaving regions of universe by its elementary constituent particles. The conservation of this elementary constituent particle requires the conservation of its occupied volume during this process. This requirement could be summarized by the following conditions: 1) the total volume of all regions of universe filled by the elementary constituent particles of the quantum system minus the total volume of all regions of universe left by these elementary constituent particles must be equal to the occupied volume of the quantum system;2) the total increase in the occupied volume of the quantum system due to the absorption of another elementary particles from outside its occupied regions minus the total decreasing in its occupied volume due to the emission of another elementary particles outside its occupied regions must be equal to the occupied volume of it. The yield criteria of geomaterials play a crucial role in studying and designing the strength of materials and structures.The basic characteristics of yield criteria for geomaterials need to be studied under the frame...The yield criteria of geomaterials play a crucial role in studying and designing the strength of materials and structures.The basic characteristics of yield criteria for geomaterials need to be studied under the framework of continuum mechanics.These characteristics include the effects of strength difference(SD) of materials in tension and compression,normal stress,intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,hydrostatic stress,twin-shear stresses,and the convexity of yield surface.Most of the proposed yield criteria possess only one or some of these basic characteristics.For example,the Tresca yield criterion considers only single-shear stress effect,and ignores the effect of SD,normal stress,intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,hydrostatic stress,and twin-shear stresses.The Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion accounts for the effect of SD,normal stress,single-shear stress and hydrostatic stress,but disregards the effect of intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,and twin-shear stresses.The basic characteristics remain to be fully addressed in the development of yield criterion.In this paper,we propose a new yield criterion with three features,that is,newly developed,better than existing criteria and ready for application.It is shown that the proposed criterion performs better than the existing ones and is ready for application.The development of mechanical models for various yield criteria and the applications of the unified strength theory to engineering are also summarized.According to a new tetragonal mechanical model,a tension-cut condition is added to the unified strength theory.The unified strength theory is extended to the tension-tension region.展开更多

The essay also discusses the merits of Vasari's open gallery (loggia) as a vernacular architectural construct with egalitarian functions and Vasari's principles of architecture (design, rule, order, and proportion) and beauty (delight and necessity) for the formulation of the theory of art in Mannerism, a sixteenth-century style of art.

文摘In this paper,using the research method of grounded theory,with the competitive brand of home gardening—Hongyue Garden Maker as the specific object of study,we collect the data through interviews and surveys,conduct coding analysis step by step on the data,establish the brand asset creation path model consisting of some main dimensions including " brand salience"," brand performance"," brand image"," brand judgment"," brand feeling",and " brand resonance",and reveal the interaction and logical relationship between the above dimensions,so as to provide theoretical support for the asset creation of many kinds of home gardening and other brands.

文摘The combination of an oscillating and a static field is used to study the creation and annihilation phenomena during the pair creation process.The time evolution,spatial density and momentum distribution of the created particles for a fermionic system are presented,which demonstrate that with the increasing static field intensity,the number of the created particles experiences a distinguishable decrease in every period of the oscillating field,which is caused by the annihilation phenomena between the created electrons and positrons.
文摘Criticism is an intellectual process that primarily searches for beauty aspects in the works of art,including architecture.This article explores the mathematical and philosophical principles of classical architectural criticism.It is hypothesized that design criteria during the Classic period were clear and specific.The research presents theories of classical art that focus on the process of beauty interpretation.It also assesses the mathematical evaluation of architectural art and beauty through“The Golden Ratio”and“The Fibonacci Sequence.”Classical philosophy,and its perception of beauty,is discussed as an essential basis in any artistic critical activity.The research asserts that the science of aesthetics is both objective and subjective,which explains the difference in aesthetic evaluation across eras.Objectivity stems from conditions of proportionality that must be met for an architectural art to be aesthetically judged as beautiful.Subjectivity lies in the time and place of the architectural work,whereby tendencies,tastes,and needs related to the human and geographical environment can affect the standards of beauty.This makes the evaluation of beauty in classical architecture a delicate and complex process in which many aspects must be considered to have an objective,fair,and correct judgment.

文摘The yield criteria of geomaterials play a crucial role in studying and designing the strength of materials and structures.The basic characteristics of yield criteria for geomaterials need to be studied under the framework of continuum mechanics.These characteristics include the effects of strength difference(SD) of materials in tension and compression,normal stress,intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,hydrostatic stress,twin-shear stresses,and the convexity of yield surface.Most of the proposed yield criteria possess only one or some of these basic characteristics.For example,the Tresca yield criterion considers only single-shear stress effect,and ignores the effect of SD,normal stress,intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,hydrostatic stress,and twin-shear stresses.The Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion accounts for the effect of SD,normal stress,single-shear stress and hydrostatic stress,but disregards the effect of intermediate principal stress,intermediate principal shear stress,and twin-shear stresses.The basic characteristics remain to be fully addressed in the development of yield criterion.In this paper,we propose a new yield criterion with three features,that is,newly developed,better than existing criteria and ready for application.It is shown that the proposed criterion performs better than the existing ones and is ready for application.The development of mechanical models for various yield criteria and the applications of the unified strength theory to engineering are also summarized.According to a new tetragonal mechanical model,a tension-cut condition is added to the unified strength theory.The unified strength theory is extended to the tension-tension region.
