Considering the research on classical genetics of photoperiod(therm) sensitive genic male sterile rice, it is important to select the sterile lines and their segregating population controlled by one pair of gene in ma...Considering the research on classical genetics of photoperiod(therm) sensitive genic male sterile rice, it is important to select the sterile lines and their segregating population controlled by one pair of gene in mapping and isolating sterile genes. It is discussed the advantages, disadvantages and the reasons leading to various mapping results of chromosome location of sterile genes through gene marker, isozyme marker and DNA marker techniques. In comparison to isolation of photo(thermo) sensitive sterile genes via various plant gene cloning techniques, it was concluded that map based cloning was acceptable, but it is still difficult to locate the loci of sterile genes within 1cM. On the other hand, “sensitivity to environment”, an important characteristic of sterile lines can be fully utilized by DD PCR and (or) RDA techniques. Therefore, these two techniques were considered as the effective ways to isolate sterile genes.展开更多

Tin sulfide (SnS) has analogous structural features to tin selenide (SnSe), but contains more abundant resources as compared with SnSe. SnS has elicited attention as a potential eco-friendly therm oelectric (TE) mater...Tin sulfide (SnS) has analogous structural features to tin selenide (SnSe), but contains more abundant resources as compared with SnSe. SnS has elicited attention as a potential eco-friendly therm oelectric (TE) material. However, the intrinsic carrier concentration of SnS is very low, thereby hindering the performance improvement of the material. This study proposes that the TE properties of polycrystalline Nadoped SnS (synthesized through an improved chemical coprecipitation) can be significantly enhanced. The maximum power factor (PF) of 362 μW m^-1K^-2 at 873 K was achieved, presenting a state-of-the-art value for the polycrystalline SnS. Considering the merits of the improved electrical properties and lower thermal conductivity of SnS, the highest ZT was up to 0.52 at 873 K even without intentional chemical doping. This study offers an effective approach for improving the PF to achieve high ZT in SnS. Hence, we expect that this new perspective can be extended to other dopants and broaden the scope of synthesis technology.展开更多

The adsorption equilibria of N<sub>2</sub>,Ar,CH<sub>4</sub>,CO<sub>2</sub>,and N<sub>2</sub>O on H-Mordenite were studied with a constant volume appa-ratus under pressu...The adsorption equilibria of N<sub>2</sub>,Ar,CH<sub>4</sub>,CO<sub>2</sub>,and N<sub>2</sub>O on H-Mordenite were studied with a constant volume appa-ratus under pressure from 3.04×10<sup>3</sup> to 1.43×10<sup>7</sup> Pa at—196°,0°,25°,50° and 75℃.The amount of adsorption ofN<sub>2</sub>,Ar and CH<sub>4</sub> increases with pressure until approaching saturation at about 6.08×10<sup>6</sup> Pa.A maximum exists on theadsorption isotherm of CO<sub>2</sub> and N<sub>2</sub>O,and their isotherms at different temperatures cross each other.All the data obtainedin this work can be correlated by the extended adsorption potential theory quite well.All experimental points can be repre-sented by the generalized characteristic curve.展开更多
