Third-party assessment, cha...The current predominant self-review mechanism by policy-making bodies suffers from deficiencies such as insufficient motivations, limited review capabilities, and weak external supervision. Third-party assessment, characterized by independence and specialization, is designed to mitigate these shortcomings. However, the implementation of third-party assessment faces challenges too. This paper intends to improve the third-party assessment system and to realize the legislative purpose of the system. Based on social research, discussions and exchanges with relevant parties, and the existing research results, this paper analyzes the challenges and possible optimization measures for the third-party assessment. The challenges include repulsion from policy-making bodies, insufficient independence of assessment bodies, disparity of assessment quality, and limited application of assessment outcomes. Possible optimization measures include promoting fair competition culture, increasing the acceptance of third-party assessment from policy-making bodies, enhancing the quality of third-party assessment, clarifying the relationship between policy-making bodies and assessment bodies, ensuring the independence of third-party assessments, and promoting the application of assessment results.展开更多

Meanwhile, air pollution can not only affect plant growth and animal health but also shift market equilibrium of both agro-inputs and outputs in the food supply chain and thereby affect food security indirectly. Furthermore, this study evaluates the effects of agricultural policy and energy policy on food security and air pollution, respectively, and provides an overview of potential policy instruments to reduce air pollution while ensuring food security. Traditional e-commerce recommendation systems often struggle with dynamic user preferences and a vast array of products,leading to suboptimal user experiences.To address this,our study presents a Personalized Adaptive...Traditional e-commerce recommendation systems often struggle with dynamic user preferences and a vast array of products,leading to suboptimal user experiences.To address this,our study presents a Personalized Adaptive Multi-Product Recommendation System(PAMR)leveraging transfer learning and Bi-GRU(Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Units).Using a large dataset of user reviews from Amazon and Flipkart,we employ transfer learning with pre-trained models(AlexNet,GoogleNet,ResNet-50)to extract high-level attributes from product data,ensuring effective feature representation even with limited data.Bi-GRU captures both spatial and sequential dependencies in user-item interactions.The innovation of this study lies in the innovative feature fusion technique that combines the strengths of multiple transfer learning models,and the integration of an attention mechanism within the Bi-GRU framework to prioritize relevant features.Our approach addresses the classic recommendation systems that often face challenges such as cold start along with data sparsity difficulties,by utilizing robust user and item representations.The model demonstrated an accuracy of up to 96.9%,with precision and an F1-score of 96.2%and 96.97%,respectively,on the Amazon dataset,significantly outperforming the baselines and marking a considerable advancement over traditional configurations.This study highlights the effectiveness of combining transfer learning with Bi-GRU for scalable and adaptive recommendation systems,providing a versatile solution for real-world applications.展开更多

Purpose:This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness of two major types of features—metadata-based(behavioral)and content-based(textual)—in opinion spam detection.Design/methodology/approach:Based on spam-detection ...Purpose:This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness of two major types of features—metadata-based(behavioral)and content-based(textual)—in opinion spam detection.Design/methodology/approach:Based on spam-detection perspectives,our approach works in three settings:review-centric(spam detection),reviewer-centric(spammer detection)and product-centric(spam-targeted product detection).Besides this,to negate any kind of classifier-bias,we employ four classifiers to get a better and unbiased reflection of the obtained results.In addition,we have proposed a new set of features which are compared against some well-known related works.The experiments performed on two real-world datasets show the effectiveness of different features in opinion spam detection.Findings:Our findings indicate that behavioral features are more efficient as well as effective than the textual to detect opinion spam across all three settings.In addition,models trained on hybrid features produce results quite similar to those trained on behavioral features than on the textual,further establishing the superiority of behavioral features as dominating indicators of opinion spam.The features used in this work provide improvement over existing features utilized in other related works.Furthermore,the computation time analysis for feature extraction phase shows the better cost efficiency of behavioral features over the textual.Research limitations:The analyses conducted in this paper are solely limited to two wellknown datasets,viz.,Yelp Zip and Yelp NYC of Yelp.com.Practical implications:The results obtained in this paper can be used to improve the detection of opinion spam,wherein the researchers may work on improving and developing feature engineering and selection techniques focused more on metadata information.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,this study is the first of its kind which considers three perspectives(review,reviewer and product-centric)and four classifiers to analyze the effectiveness of opinion spam detection using two major types of features.This study also introduces some novel features,which help to improve the performance of opinion spam detection methods.展开更多

文摘Purpose:This paper aims to analyze the effectiveness of two major types of features—metadata-based(behavioral)and content-based(textual)—in opinion spam detection.Design/methodology/approach:Based on spam-detection perspectives,our approach works in three settings:review-centric(spam detection),reviewer-centric(spammer detection)and product-centric(spam-targeted product detection).Besides this,to negate any kind of classifier-bias,we employ four classifiers to get a better and unbiased reflection of the obtained results.In addition,we have proposed a new set of features which are compared against some well-known related works.The experiments performed on two real-world datasets show the effectiveness of different features in opinion spam detection.Findings:Our findings indicate that behavioral features are more efficient as well as effective than the textual to detect opinion spam across all three settings.In addition,models trained on hybrid features produce results quite similar to those trained on behavioral features than on the textual,further establishing the superiority of behavioral features as dominating indicators of opinion spam.The features used in this work provide improvement over existing features utilized in other related works.Furthermore,the computation time analysis for feature extraction phase shows the better cost efficiency of behavioral features over the textual.Research limitations:The analyses conducted in this paper are solely limited to two wellknown datasets,viz.,Yelp Zip and Yelp NYC of Yelp.com.Practical implications:The results obtained in this paper can be used to improve the detection of opinion spam,wherein the researchers may work on improving and developing feature engineering and selection techniques focused more on metadata information.Originality/value:To the best of our knowledge,this study is the first of its kind which considers three perspectives(review,reviewer and product-centric)and four classifiers to analyze the effectiveness of opinion spam detection using two major types of features.This study also introduces some novel features,which help to improve the performance of opinion spam detection methods.

文摘The online customer reviews provide important information for product improvement and redesign.However,many reviews are redundant with only several short sentences,which may even conflict with each other on the same aspect of a product.Thus it is usually a very challenging task to extract useful design information from the reviews and provide a clear description on the product’s various aspects amongst its competitors.In order to resolve this issue,we propose an approach to build hierarchical product profiles to describe a product’s kernel design aspects quantitatively.It is achieved via three main strategies:a double propagation strategy to achieve the associated features and customers’descriptions;a deep text processing network to build the aspect hierarchy;an aspect ranking approach to quantify each kernel design aspect.Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach on online reviews.

Through a review of single loop and dual loop PP reactor technology as well as development and utilization of PP products it is concluded that import of PP technology should be based on the demand of PP products and market trend with consideration of local conditions. The existing problems and future development of PP technology in China are discussed.

文摘By referring to attribution theory,influence factor and internal mechanism of crisis brand generating two kinds of spillover effects are explored. In this paper,the influence mechanism on spillover effect is explored from the angles of network and industry information. Results show that high online review dispersion is easy to cause that consumer attributes the responsibility to the outside of the enterprise,while low online review dispersion is easy to cause that consumer attributes the responsibility to the inside of the enterprise; high industry base rate information is easy to cause that consumer attributes the responsibility to the outside of the enterprise,while low industry base rate information is easy to cause that consumer attributes the responsibility to the inside of the enterprise. When consumer attributes the responsibility to the outside of the enterprise,infectious network spillover is easy to occur. When consumer attributes the responsibility to the inside of the enterprise,contrast network spillover is easy to occur. Consumer's existing brand knowledge regulates the influence of online review dispersion on responsibility attribution and the influence of industry base rate information on responsibility attribution. Research result could provide effective theoretic reference and management suggestion for crisis enterprise and even whole industry responding to product injury crisis.
文摘Nowadays,commercial transactions and customer reviews are part of human life and various business applications.The technologies create a great impact on online user reviews and activities,affecting the business process.Customer reviews and ratings are more helpful to the new customer to purchase the product,but the fake reviews completely affect the business.The traditional systems consume maximum time and create complexity while analyzing a large volume of customer information.Therefore,in this work optimized recommendation system is developed for analyzing customer reviews with minimum complexity.Here,Amazon Product Kaggle dataset information is utilized for investigating the customer review.The collected information is analyzed and processed by batch normalized capsule networks(NCN).The network explores the user reviews according to product details,time,price purchasing factors,etc.,ensuring product quality and ratings.Then effective recommendation system is developed using a butterfly optimized matrix factorizationfiltering approach.Then the system’s efficiency is evaluated using the Rand Index,Dunn index,accuracy,and error rate.
