Cracking and low thickness are major obstacles to the high corrosion performance of conversion coating on magnesium alloy.In this work,the ratio of total acidity to p H(TA/p H)was applied as an indicator,and new princ...Cracking and low thickness are major obstacles to the high corrosion performance of conversion coating on magnesium alloy.In this work,the ratio of total acidity to p H(TA/p H)was applied as an indicator,and new principles regarding the design of conversion bath were proposed.The treatment bath should be composed of species that can be categorized into two groups:the first group of species that react with Mg substrate to increase the local p H at the interface;the second group that precipitate and contributes to the growth of coating.The species belong to second group exists in a supersaturated state and its precipitation process is almost independent on the reactions of the species in first group.By this way,a thick and crack-free two-layered conversion coating is obtained.Moreover,the nature of the adjustment of TA/p H and the roles of the oxidizing agent and catalyst were discussed.展开更多

Using KK relations, the...A parameter retrieval algorithm based on the causality principle and Kramers-Kronig (KK) relations is employed to calculate the effective parameters of three-dimensional (3D) metamaterials. Using KK relations, the branch selecting problem, which is the challenge of effective parameter retrieval method, can be removed. To reveal the validity of the proposed algorithm, the constitutive refractive index of a homogeneous polymide cube is extracted. The result is in excellent agreement with the intrinsic refractive index of the polymide. Finally, the two terahertz metamaterials with 3D structures are designed and their effective parameters are then retrieved using the proposed algorithm. Numerical simulations are performed using the fuiI-wave electromagnetic solver, CST Microwave Studio.展开更多
A facile synthesis of hierarchical ZSM-5 with the three-dimensionally ordered mesoporosity(3DOm ZSM-5)was achieved by solid conversion(SC)of SiO_(2)colloidal crystals to high-crystalline ZSM-5.The products of 3DZ5_S/C...A facile synthesis of hierarchical ZSM-5 with the three-dimensionally ordered mesoporosity(3DOm ZSM-5)was achieved by solid conversion(SC)of SiO_(2)colloidal crystals to high-crystalline ZSM-5.The products of 3DZ5_S/C and 3DZ5_S,which were severally transformed from the carbon-padded SiO_(2)colloidal crystals and the initial SiO_(2)colloidal crystals,exhibited not only a similar ordered structure and acidity but also higher crystallinity and more balanced meso-/micropore combination in comparison with 3DZ5_C obtained by the conventional confined space crystallization approach.All three synthesized 3DZ5 catalysts showed improved methanol-to-propylene performance than the commercially microporous ZSM-5(CZ5),embodied in five times longer lifetime,higher propylene selectivity and S_(propylene)/S_(ethylene) ratio(P/E),and superior coke toleration with lower formation rate of coke(R_(coke)).Moreover,the 3DZ5_S catalyst in situ converted from SiO_(2)colloidal crystals presented the highest selectivities of propylene(42.51%)and light olefins(74.6%)among all three 3DZ5 catalysts.The high efficiency in synthesis and in situ utilization of SiO_(2)colloidal crystals demonstrate the proposed SC strategy to be more efficiently and eco-friendly for the high-yield production of not only 3DOm ZSM-5 but also other types of hierarchical zeolites.展开更多

The finite element equation of three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward modeling was derived from Maxwell's equations using general variation principle. The divergence condition was added forcedly to the electric field boundary value problem, which made the solution correct. The system of equation of the finite element algorithm was a large sparse, banded, symmetric, ill-conditioned, non-Hermitian complex matrix equation, which can be solved using the Bi-CGSTAB method. In order to prove correctness of the three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward algorithm, the computed results and analytic results of one-dimensional geo-electrical model were compared. In addition, the three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward algorithm is given a further evaluation by computing COMMEMI model. The forward modeling results show that the algorithm is very efficient, and it has a lot of advantages, such as the high precision, the canonical process of solving problem, meeting the internal boundary condition automatically and adapting to all kinds of distribution of multi-substances.展开更多
Highly thermo-conductive aqueous medium is a crucial premise to demonstrate high-performance thermal-related applications.Graphene has the diamond comparable thermal conductivity,while the intrinsic two-dimensional re...Highly thermo-conductive aqueous medium is a crucial premise to demonstrate high-performance thermal-related applications.Graphene has the diamond comparable thermal conductivity,while the intrinsic two-dimensional reality will result in strong anisotropic thermal conductivity and wrinkles or even crumples that significantly sacrifices its inherent properties in practical applications.One strategy to overcome this is to use three-dimensional(3D)architecture of graphene.Herein,3D graphene structure with covalent-bonding nanofins(3D-GS-CBF)is proposed,which is then used as the filler to demonstrate effective aqueous medium.The thermal conductivity and thermal conductivity enhancement efficiency of 3D-GS-CBF(0.26 vol%)aqueous medium can be as high as 2.61 W m-1 K-1 and 1300%,respectively,around six times larger than highest value of the existed aqueous mediums.Meanwhile,3D-GS-CBF can be stable in the solution even after 6 months,addressing the instability issues of conventional graphene networks.A multiscale modeling including non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations and heat conduction model is applied to interpret experimental results.3D-GS-CBF aqueous medium can largely improve the solar vapor evaporation rate(by 1.5 times)that are even comparable to the interfacial heating system;meanwhile,its cooling performance is also superior to commercial coolant in thermal management applications.展开更多

The SHBNM represents a coupling between the hybrid displacement variational formulations and moving least squares (MLS) approximation. The main idea is to reduce the dimensionality of the former and keep the meshless advantage of the later. The rigid movement method was employed to solve the hyper-singular integrations. The 'boundary layer effect', which is the main drawback of the original Hybrid BNM, was overcome by an adaptive integration scheme. The source points of the fundamental solution were arranged directly on the boundary. Thus the uncertain scale factor taken in the regular hybrid boundary node method (RHBNM) can be avoided. Numerical examples for some 3D elastic problems were given to show the characteristics. The computation results obtained by the present method are in excellent agreement with the analytical solution. The parameters that influence the performance of this method were studied through the numerical examples.展开更多

文摘This paper probes into the dialogues in If You Are the One based on the theoretical framework of Grice's Cooperative Principle, with a view to discovering humorous effects and conversational implicature in a certain context. Through the analysis of representative dialogues which obey and violate the maxims respectively, this paper concludes that speakers, by appropriately violating the maxims and unconsciously observing the maxims of the CP, manage to achieve humorous effects and conversational implicature. Meanwhile, this paper aims to help people express themselves appropriately to avoid pragmatic failures and achieve the goal of communication.
文摘As a form of communication,advertising has been an object for study.Scholars at home and abroad have been studying it from different perspectives,this paper explores the persuasiveness of the advertising language from the perspective of pragmatic theories,explaining the violations of Grice's Cooperative Principle,which leads to the implication and further uses the conversational implicature theory to analyze the persuasiveness of the advertising.
文摘With the development of new urbanization,high-rise buildings stand tall,and all kinds of roads are busy,and the garage has become an indispensable necessity for people.The rise of the garage has also made the market demand for it.The ordinary flat garage is no longer enough to meet the demand for parking.Therefore,the modem mechanical three-dimensional garage has become the darling of the society,many large shopping malls,commercial buildings,A variety of mechanical three-dimensional garages have been commonly used in hotels and guesthouses.However,due to the late start of the mechanical three-dimensional garage,there are still many problems,such as slow operation of mechanical equipment,noisy mechanical noise,slow parking and other significant problems.Therefore,the contemporary mechanical three-dimensional garage is in urgent need of improvement.In this paper,the improvement analysis of the single-arm rotary vertical lifting type is carried out,and the mechanical principle knowledge is used to analyze the existing problems,so as to propose an improved solution.

文摘Humor,as a language art,is considered to be an indispensable form of communication in our daily life.This paper,from the perspective of cooperative principle,takes 8 humorous conversations from the popular sitcom Two Broke Girls as analytical materials to analyze English humor.The humorous effects produced by violating the maxim of quantity,quality,relation and manner in Two Broke Girls are the concrete embodiment of conversational implicature in English humor.The most important part of this paper is the detailed analyses of many examples,which is helpful to the study of the cultural differences between Chinese humor and English humor.Moreover,linking sitcoms to pragmatics can deepen interlocuters’understanding of cooperative principle and the speaker’s implication.As an interdisciplinary subject,therefore,not only can pragmatics be combined with sitcoms,but also applies to other fields.It is hoped that this paper can make future researchers realize the importance of context and delve into other areas from the perspective of cooperative principle.
