The large-scale stable opal template membranes after sintering the deposited SiO2 opal template can be successfully obtained by optimizing the pH value and NaCl concentration in silica colloidal solutions. The three-dimensionally ordered macroporous(3DOM) polyimide membranes without crack were fabricated by reproducing the structure of silica opal template. We prepared the pore-filling composite proton exchange membranes by filling the 3DOM structure with proton conducting organosilane sol. The result indicates that the composite membranes exhibit higher water uptake than pure filling organosilane gel. The Poisson’s ratio of the FGMs was assumed to be constant throughout the analysis. The first five terms in the asymptotic expansions of crack tip stress fields were derived to bring out the influence of nonhomogeneity on the structure of the stress field explicitly. The analysis reveals that only the higher order terms in the expansion are influenced by the material nonhomogeneity. Moreover, it can be seen from expressions of higher order stress fields that at least three terms must be considered in the case of FGMs in order to explicitly account for the nonhomogeneity effects on the structure of crack tip stress fields.展开更多

However, the correspon- dence principle becomes invalid when the materials exhibit ageing. To deal with this problem, a second-order two-scale (SOTS) computational method in the time domain is presented to predict the ageing linear viscoelastic performance of composite materials with a periodic structure. First, in the time domain, the SOTS formulation for calcu- lating the effective relaxation modulus and displacement approximate solutions of the ageing viscoelastic problem is formally derived. Error estimates of the displacement ap- proximate solutions for SOTS method are then given. Numerical results obtained by the SOTS method are shown and compared with those by the finite element method in a very fine mesh. Both the analytical and numerical results show that the SOTS computational method is feasible and efficient to predict the ageing linear viscoelastic performance of composite materials with a periodic structure.展开更多

文摘Higher order stress fields for a mode Ⅰ crack perpendicular to the direction of property variation in a functionally gradient material(FGM), which has an exponential variation of elastic modulus along the gradient direction, were obtained through an asymptotic analysis. Moreover, it can be seen from expressions of higher order stress fields that at least three terms must be considered in the case of FGMs in order to explicitly account for the nonhomogeneity effects on the structure of crack tip stress fields.

文摘An orthotropic functionally graded piezoelectric rectangular plate with arbitrarily distributed material properties was studied, which is simply supported and grounded(electrically) on its four lateral edges. The state equations of the functionally graded piezoelectric material were obtained using the state-space approach, and a Peano-Baker series solution was obtained for the coupled electroelastic fi elds of the functionally graded piezoelectric plate subjected to mechanical and electric loading on its upper and lower surfaces. The influence of different distributions of material properties on the structural response of the plate was studied using the obtained solutions.

文摘The correspondence principle is an important mathematical technique to compute the non-ageing linear viscoelastic problem as it allows to take advantage of the computational methods originally developed for the elastic case. Both the analytical and numerical results show that the SOTS computational method is feasible and efficient to predict the ageing linear viscoelastic performance of composite materials with a periodic structure.

文摘A generalized form of material gradation applicable to a more broad range of functionally graded materials(FGMs) was presented. With the material model, analytical expressions of crack tip higher order stress fields in a series form for opening mode and shear mode cracks under quasi-static loading were developed through the approach of asymptotic analysis. Then,a numerical experiment was conducted to verify the accuracy of the developed expressions for representing crack tip stress fields and their validity in full field data analysis by using them to extract the stress intensity factors from the results of a finite element analysis by local collocation and then comparing the estimations with the existing solution. The expressions show that nonhomogeneity parameters are embedded in the angular functions associated with higher terms in a recursive manner and at least the first three terms in the expansions must be considered to explicitly account for material nonhomogeneity effects on crack tip stress fields in the case of FGMs.The numerical experiment further confirms that the addition of the nonhomogeneity specific terms in the expressions not only improves estimates of stress intensity factor, but also gives consistent estimates as the distance away from the crack tip increases.Hence, the analytical expressions are suitable for the representation of crack tip stress fields and the analysis of full field data.

文摘In this paper, a kind of second-order two-scale (SOTS) computation is developed for conductive-radiative heat trans- fer problem in periodic porous materials. First of all, by the asymptotic expansion of the temperature field, the cell problem, homogenization problem, and second-order correctors are obtained successively. Then, the corresponding finite element al- gorithms are proposed. Finally, some numerical results are presented and compared with theoretical results. The numerical results of the proposed algorithm conform with those of the FE algorithm well, demonstrating the accuracy of the present method and its potential applications in thermal engineering of porous materials.

文摘This paper discusses a statistical second-order two-scale(SSOTS) analysis and computation for a heat conduction problem with a radiation boundary condition in random porous materials.Firstly, the microscopic configuration for the structure with random distribution is briefly characterized.Secondly, the SSOTS formulae for computing the heat transfer problem are derived successively by means of the construction way for each cell. Then, the statistical prediction algorithm based on the proposed two-scale model is described in detail. Finally, some numerical experiments are proposed, which show that the SSOTS method developed in this paper is effective for predicting the heat transfer performance of porous materials and demonstrating its significant applications in actual engineering computation.

文摘Ordered mesoporous silica were synthesized under different conditions:hydrothermal synthesis in basic medium, room temperature synthesis in acid medium and sol gel synthesis in neutral medium, and pore structure, specific surface area and pore size distribution of samples were studied and compared in detail by means of SAXRD,HRTEM,BET,FT IR.The results show that the mesopores in the samples obtained via above three methods all possess uniform hexagonal arrays in short range.Mesoporous silica obtained in acid medium possesses narrow pore size distribution centered around 1.24nm with specific surface area of 1220 m 2·g -1 ;Mesoporous silica obtained in basic medium by hydrothermal synthesis at 160℃ possesses narrow pore size distribution centered around 1.90nm with specific surface area of 542.8 m 2·g -1 ;and mesoporous silica obtained in neutral medium by sol gel synthesis possesses broader pore size distribution centered around 4.01nm,specific surface area of 485.0 m 2·g -1 .Therefore, ordered mesoporous silicas with different pore sizes can be prepared using various synthetic methods and conditions. After heat treatment,Si O Si bending vibration strengthens and the adsorption peak of asymmetrical Si O Si stretching vibration broadens, and the crosslinking and condensation reaction of silica skeleton strengthen, meanwhile the amount of active centers of hydroxyl group on the surface of mesopores may be influenced, thus chemical assembly activity of mesopores may also be influenced.
