The paper represents a new discovery of a late Mesoproterozoic lenticular and discontinuous, carbonatitic body exposed at Basantgarh, Sendra and near the Abu-road area of the Ambaji-Sendra belt of the South Delhi Fold...The paper represents a new discovery of a late Mesoproterozoic lenticular and discontinuous, carbonatitic body exposed at Basantgarh, Sendra and near the Abu-road area of the Ambaji-Sendra belt of the South Delhi Fold Belt. It is medium to coarse-grained and light to dark coloured compact rock. The common associates of the carbonatitic rock are felsic rocks, rich in alkalies. Carbonatite contains more than 50% carbonate minerals, the majority of which are calcite, dolomite, ankerite, augite-aegirine augite and plagioclase. It is classified as calcite carbonatite of the sövite variety due to its coarse-grained character, chemically as calico-carbonatite and magnesio-carbonatite and even as silico-carbonatites for having more than 20% SiO<sub>2</sub>. The ∑REE contents of calico-carbonatite samples are nearly 100 times greater than magnesio-carbonatite. Chondrite normalised REE profiles of calcio-carbonatites are LREE enriched with nearly flat HREEs whereas the magnesio-carbonatite is characterised by flat REE patterns. The mantle-normalized incompatible trace element spidergram of Ambaji-Sendra belt carbonatites shows distinct negative anomalies of Ba, Nb, Ta, P, Sm, Eu, Ti and Y and positive at U and Pb by calcio-carbonatite whereas the magnesio-carbonatite displays negative kinks at K, Zr, Nb, Ta and Ti and positive at Th, Pb and Sr. The variable and/or contrasting enrichment/depletion in various elements in the two types of Ambaji-Sendra belt carbonatite is attributed either to significant differences in the type and modal proportion of different accessory mineral species or selective incorporation of metasomatic fluids during the subduction process. The chemical attributes of Ambaji-Sendra belt carbonatite suggest its emplacement in subduction settings.展开更多

Aerobically activated sludge processing was carried out to treat terylene artificial silk printing and dyeing wastewater (TPD wastewater) in a lab-scale experiment, focusing on the kinetics of the COD removal.The kine...Aerobically activated sludge processing was carried out to treat terylene artificial silk printing and dyeing wastewater (TPD wastewater) in a lab-scale experiment, focusing on the kinetics of the COD removal.The kinetics parameters determined from experiment were applied to evaluate the biological treatability of wastewater.Experiments showed that COD removal could be divided into two stages,in which the ratio BOD/COD (B/C) was the key factor for stage division.At the rapid-removal stage with B/C>0.1,COD removal could be described by a zero order reaction. At the moderate-removal stage with B/C<0.1,COD removal could be described by a first order reaction. Then Monod equation was introduced to indicate COD removal. The reaction rate constant (K) and half saturation constant (Ks) were 0.0208-0.0642L/(gMLSS)h and 0.44-0.59(gCOD)/L respectively at 20℃-35℃.Activation energy (Ea) was 6.05×10^4 J/mol.By comparison of kinetic parameters, the biological treatability of TPD wastewater was superior to that of traditional textile wastewater.But COD removal from TPD-wastewater was much more difficult than that from domestic and industrial wastewater,such as papermaking, beer, phenol wastewater, etc.The expected effluent quality strongly related to un-biodegradable COD and kinetics rather than total COD. The results provide useful basis for further scaling up an defficient operation of TPD wastewater treatment.展开更多

Lipid-formulated RNA vaccines have been widely used for disease prevention and treatment,yet their mechanism of action and individual components contributing to such actions remain to be delineated.Here,we show that a...Lipid-formulated RNA vaccines have been widely used for disease prevention and treatment,yet their mechanism of action and individual components contributing to such actions remain to be delineated.Here,we show that a therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of a protamine/mRNA core and a lipid shell is highly potent in promoting cytotoxic CD8+T cell responses and mediating anti-tumor immunity.Mechanistically,both the mRNA core and lipid shell are needed to fully stimulate the expression of type I interferons and inflammatory cytokines in dendritic cells.Stimulation of interferon-βexpression is exclusively dependent on STING,and antitumor activity from the mRNA vaccine is significantly compromised in mice with a defective Sting gene.Thus,the mRNA vaccine elicits STING-dependent antitumor immunity.展开更多

In this paper, problems associated with cylindrical thin shell 's cutting noise are studied by applying Statistical Energy Analysis of Non-Conservatively Coupled Systems under Correlative Power Input. Theory and techniques for parameter evaluation, cutting system modelling and other important problems concerned are also discussed. Results show that cutting noise is mainly from the sound radiation of workpiece in cutting process, and Statistical Energy Analysis can be applied successfully to the research of large cylindrical shell 's cutting noise.展开更多

The effect of cutting teeth number on the cutting force,surface roughness,tool wear rate and the cutting chip shape charac teristics is systematically evaluated.A novel five tee th chaser insert(C tool)which could tur...The effect of cutting teeth number on the cutting force,surface roughness,tool wear rate and the cutting chip shape charac teristics is systematically evaluated.A novel five tee th chaser insert(C tool)which could turn the workpiece at five cutting points simultaneously is involved in comparison with the standard triangle shaped insert(T tool),in the purpose of solving the problems of cutting heat concentration and rapid tool failures in the Inconel 718 machining process.Comparative orthogonal cut ting experimen ts of the C tool and T tool show that the cut ting depth is the significant influencing factor of the cutting forces.Meanwhile,the five cut ting teeth of the C tool show the effec tiveness of dispersing the cut ting forces as well as improving the cut ting efficiency.The feed rate is the significant factor to affect the root-mean-square surface roughness(Ra)of workpiece machined by the T tool,while the significant influencing variable of Ra for the C tool is the cutting depth due to its unique tool geome try(0°rake angle)in the axial feeding process.Moreover,due to the dispersing effect,the cut ting edges on the C tool exhibits lower tool wear rate than that of the T tool under the same axial feed.The chips are regular continuous long chips for the T tool,while the irregular continuous chips with the characteristic of saw-toothed profile are obtained due to its unique 0°rake angle.The C tool shows the valid potential for effectively dispersing the cut ting heat and slowing down the tool wear rate in the Inconel 718 machining process.展开更多
