A hybrid control algorithm, which makes full use of the advantages of robust control and fuzzy logic, was adopted in VSC system. The results of HHILS show that HHILS’ application on the vehicle handling and VSC resarch is feasible. These results also confirm that the handling performance of the vehicle with VSC is improved obviously compared to the vehicle without VSC.展开更多

This plat-form consists of a computer installed with software Matlab/Simulink/RTW and dSPACE/ ControlDesk; a diesel engine ECU, and a dSPACE autobox which runs a real-time diesel engine model. A typical model of diesel engine with turbocharger and intercooler is presented. Based on this model our research is carried out with a real ECU to test its software control strategies. Results show that by using the diesel engine model downloaded inside, the hardware-in-the-loop platform can simulate diesel engine's working conditions and generate all kinds of sensor signals which ECU needs on a real-time basis. So the ECU control strategies can be validated and relevant parameters roughly calibrated.展开更多
In order to study the factors that influence the air fuel ratio(A/F), the amplitude and frequency of A/F fluctuation, to reform the control strategy, and to improve the efficiency of three way catalyst(TWC), a model...In order to study the factors that influence the air fuel ratio(A/F), the amplitude and frequency of A/F fluctuation, to reform the control strategy, and to improve the efficiency of three way catalyst(TWC), a model of closed loop control system including the engine, air fuel mixing and transportation, oxygen sensor and controller, etc., is developed. Various factors that influence the A/F control are studied by simulation. The simulation results show that the reference voltage of oxygen sensor will influence the mean value of A/F ratio, the controller parameters will influence the amplitude of A/F fluctuation, and the operating conditions of the engine determine the frequency of A/F fluctuations, the amplitude of A/F fluctuation can be reduced to within demanded values by logical selection of the signal acquisition method and controller parameters. Higher A/F fluctuation frequency under high speed and load can be reduced through software delay in the controller. The A/F closed loop control system based on the simulation results, accompanied with a rare earth element TWC, gives a better efficiency of conversion against harmful emissions.展开更多

The study was firstly focused on the establishment of an integrated hardware-in-the-loop(HITL) platform for aircraft flight simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink + dSPACE. The platform combines the abundant software and hardware resources of dSPACE simulation platform to simulate the flight attitude of an aircraft in six-DOF ( degree of freedom) motion. Based on the platform, the study was then focused on the flight numerical simulation by taking a loitering aerial vehicle as an example. An aircraft mathematical model was created for a modular design and off-line numerical simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, the study was focused on the control system design of the loitering aerial vehicle and conduct of an HITL simulation experiment for the vehicle pitch control. The experiment verifies the system design and control effectiveness. Research results show that the dSPACE simulation system provides a real time good experimental platform to improve the efficiency of study and development of a flight control system.展开更多

Using the input/output feedback linearization approach and Lyapunov method, a control law is designed, which guarantees that the system output exponentially tracks the given desired output. The proposed controller is easy to compute and complement. This paper can be viewed as an extension of the work in reference [1]. To compensate the uncertainties, an adaptive robust controller based on Lyapunov method is proposed and the design algorithm is also suggested. Compared with some previous controllers which can only ensure ultimate uniform boundedness of the systems, the controller given in the paper can make sure that the obtained closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the large. In fact, when aiming at autonomous flight, such parameters cannot assumed to be known as they might vary during the mission(e.g.depending on the payload). Modeling and autopilot design for such autonomous fixed-wing UAVs are presented. The modeling is implemented in Matlab, while the autopilot is based on ArduPilot, a popular open-source autopilot suite. Specifically, the ArduP ilot functionalities are emulated in Matlab according to the Ardupilot documentation and code, which allows us to perform software-in-the-loop simulations of teams of UAVs embedded with actual autopilot protocols. An overview of realtime path planning, trajectory tracking and formation control resulting from the proposed platform is given. The software-inthe-loop simulations show the capability of achieving different UAV formations while handling uncertain mass and inertia.展开更多

This paper presents the automatic drug administration for the regulation of bispectral (BIS) index in the anesthesia process during the clinical surgery by controlling the concentration target of two drugs, namely, pr...This paper presents the automatic drug administration for the regulation of bispectral (BIS) index in the anesthesia process during the clinical surgery by controlling the concentration target of two drugs, namely, propofol and remifentanil. To realize the automatic drug administration, real clinical data are collected for 42 patients for the construction of patients’ models consisting of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models describing the dynamics reacting to the input drugs. A nominal anesthesia model is obtained by taking the average of 42 patients’ models for the design of control scheme. Three PID controllers are employed, namely linear PID controller, type-1 (T1) fuzzy PID controller and interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy PID controller, to regulate the BIS index using the nominal patient’s model. The PID gains and membership functions are obtained using genetic algorithm (GA) by minimizing a cost function measuring the control performance. The best trained PID controllers are tested under different scenarios and compared in terms of control performance. Simulation results show that the IT2 fuzzy PID controller offers the best control strategy regulating the BIS index while the T1 fuzzy PID controller comes the second.展开更多

In this paper, we prop...The interference reduction capability of antenna arrays and the power control algorithms have been considered separately as means to decrease the interference in wireless communication networks. In this paper, we propose smart step closed-loop power control (SSPC) algorithm in wireless networks in a 2D urban environment with constrained least mean squared (CLMS) algorithm. This algorithm is capable of efficiently adapting according to the environment and able to permanently maintain the chosen frequency response in the look direction while minimizing the output power of the array. Also, we present switched-beam (SB) technique for enhancing signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) in wireless networks. Also, we study an analytical approach for the evaluation of the impact of power control error (PCE) on wireless networks in a 2D urban environment. The simulation results indicate that the convergence speed of the SSPC algorithm is faster than other algorithms. Also, we observe that significant saving in total transmit power (TTP) are possible with our proposed algorithm. Finally, we discuss three parameters of the PCE, number of antenna elements, and path-loss exponent and their effects on capacity of the system via some computer simulations.展开更多

Using secondly developed the hybrid vehicle simulation tool ADVISOR, the dynamic model of PHEV has been set up by MATLAB/SIMULINK. The engine, motor as well as the battery characteristics have been studied. Simulation results show that the proposed hierarchical structured fuzzy logic control strategy is effective over the entire operating range of the vehicle in terms of fuel economy. Based on the analyses of the simulation results and driver’s experiences, a fuzzy controller is designed and developed to control the torque distribution. The controller is evaluated via hardware-in-the-loop simulator (HILS). The results show that controller verify its value.展开更多

The study emphasizes on the application and control of PAM actuators which may be considered as the new generation of actuators comprising fluidic muscle that has high-tension force, high power to weight ratio and high strength in spite of its drawbacks in the form of high nonlinearity behaviour, high hysteresis and time varying parameters. Fuzzy Logic (FL) is used as a technique to estimate the best value of the inertia matrix of robot arm essential for the AFC mechanism that is complemented with a conventional Propor- tional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control at the outermost loop. A simulation study was first performed followed by an experi- mental investigation for validation. The experimental study was based on the independent joint tracking control and coordinated motion control of the arm in Cartesian or task space. In the former, the PAM actuated arm is commanded to track the prescribed trajectories due to harmonic excitations at the joints for a given frequency, whereas for the latter, two sets of trajectories with different loadings were considered. A practical rig utilizing a Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation (HILS) configuration was developed and a number of experiments were carried out. The results of the experiment and the simulation works were in good agreement, which verified the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed AFCAFL scheme actuated by PAM.展开更多

It consists of multiple levels. In the upper level, the best model is chosen according to the switching index. Then multiple fixed models are constructed on line to cover the region which the above chosen fixed model lies in.In the last level, one free-running and one re-initialized adaptive model are added to guarantee the stability and improve the transient response. By selection of the weighting polynomial matrix, it not only eliminates the steady output error and places the poles of the closed loop system arbitrarily, but also decouples the system dynamically. At last, for this multiple models switching system, global convergence is obtained under common assumptions. Compared with the conventional multiple models adaptive controller, it reduces the number of the fixed models greatly. If the same number of the fixed models is used, the system transient response and decoupling result are improved. The simulation example illustrates the power of the derived controller.展开更多
Faults in traction system rectifiers can cause deterioration in system performance,robustness,and continuity.A single fault may propagate and cause the whole system to be shut down.Therefore,improving the robust stabi...Faults in traction system rectifiers can cause deterioration in system performance,robustness,and continuity.A single fault may propagate and cause the whole system to be shut down.Therefore,improving the robust stability and reliability of the control system is becoming more important.This study presents a robust current control based on a generalized internal model control(GIMC)for single-phase pulse width modulation(PWM)rectifier.The study aims to simultaneously achieve decent dynamic performance and robustness for the rectifiers under current sensor gain faults using generalized internal model control.H∞loop shaping can maintain robustness and achieve acceptable performance for the system in such cases.However,this controller will be conservative during an increase of sensor gain faults.That is,we sacrifice performance for robustness.Therefore,the GIMC structure is proposed to balance robustness and dynamic performance in such cases.The proposed control scheme during sensor gain faults is investigated.Furthermore,the robustness is analyzed using the v-gap metric.The proposed GIMC control framework consists of two parts,nominal and robustness controllers.The system is controlled solely by the nominal controller in normal operation in the absence of current sensor gain faults.If they occur,then the robustness controller will be active to maintain system robustness and achieve acceptable performance.The nominal controller is chosen as H∞loop shaping to assure nominal performance,while the robustness controller is chosen as the plant inverse cascaded by low pass filter to compensate for the sensor gain faults.Hardware-in-loop experimental results indicate that the suggested fault-tolerant control achieves good performance and robustness in comparison to the H∞loop shaping controller.展开更多

When the supply voltages are balanced and sinusoidal, both controllers converge to the same compensation characteristics. However, if the supply voltages are distorted and/or unbalanced sinusoidal, these controllers result in different degrees of compensation in harmonics. The p-q control strategy with PI controller is unable to yield an adequate solution when source voltages are not ideal. Extensive simulations were carried out with balance, unbalanced, and non-sinusoidal conditions. Simulation results validate the superiority of fuzzy logic controller over PI controller. The three-phase four-wire SHAF system is also implemented on a real-time digital simulator (RTDS hardware) to further verify its effective-ness. Nowadays validation of anti-lock braking systems(ABS) relies mainly on a large amount of road tests.An alternative means with higher efficiency is employing the hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) system to subs...Nowadays validation of anti-lock braking systems(ABS) relies mainly on a large amount of road tests.An alternative means with higher efficiency is employing the hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) system to substitute part of road tests for designing,testing,and tuning electronic control units(ECUs) of ABS.Most HILS systems for ABS use expensive digital signal processor hardware and special purpose software,and some fail-safe functions with regard to wheel speeds cannot be evaluated since artificial wheel speed signals are usually provided.In this paper,a low-cost ABS HILS test bench is developed and used for validating the anti-lock braking performance and tuning control parameters of ABS controllers.Another important merit of the proposed test bench is that it can comprehensively evaluate the fail-safe functions with regard to wheel speed signals since real tone rings and sensors are integrated in the bench.A 5-DOF vehicle model with consideration of longitudinal load transfer is used to calculate tire forces,wheel speeds and vehicle speed.Each of the four real-time wheel speed signal generators consists of a servo motor plus a ring gear,which has sufficient dynamic response ability to emulate the rapid changes of the wheel speeds under strict braking conditions of very slippery roads.The simulation of braking tests under different road adhesion coefficients using the HILS test bench is run,and results show that it can evaluate the anti-lock braking performance of ABS and partly the fail-safe functions.This HILS system can also be used in such applications as durability test,benchmarking and comparison between different ECUs.The test bench developed not only has a relatively low cost,but also can be used to validate the wheel speed-related ECU design and all its fail-safe functions,and a rapid testing and proving platform with a high efficiency for research and development of the automotive ABS is therefore provided.展开更多

As one of the key units of space CCD camera,the temperature range and stability of CCD components affect the image's indexes.Reasonable thermal design and robust thermal control devices are needed.One kind of temp...As one of the key units of space CCD camera,the temperature range and stability of CCD components affect the image's indexes.Reasonable thermal design and robust thermal control devices are needed.One kind of temperature control loop heat pipe(TCLHP) is designed,which highly meets the thermal control requirements of CCD components.In order to study the dynamic behaviors of heat and mass transfer of TCLHP,particularly in the orbital flight case,a transient numerical model is developed by using the well-established empirical correlations for flow models within three dimensional thermal modeling.The temperature control principle and details of mathematical model are presented.The model is used to study operating state,flow and heat characteristics based upon the analyses of variations of temperature,pressure and quality under different operating modes and external heat flux variations.The results indicate that TCLHP can satisfy the thermal control requirements of CCD components well,and always ensure good temperature stability and uniformity.By comparison between flight data and simulated results,it is found that the model is to be accurate to within 1℃.The model can be better used for predicting and understanding the transient performance of TCLHP.展开更多

文摘This paper discusses the design and software-in-theloop implementation of adaptive formation controllers for fixedwing unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) with parametric uncertainty in their structure, namely uncertain mass and inertia. In fact, when aiming at autonomous flight, such parameters cannot assumed to be known as they might vary during the mission(e.g.depending on the payload). Modeling and autopilot design for such autonomous fixed-wing UAVs are presented. The modeling is implemented in Matlab, while the autopilot is based on ArduPilot, a popular open-source autopilot suite. Specifically, the ArduP ilot functionalities are emulated in Matlab according to the Ardupilot documentation and code, which allows us to perform software-in-the-loop simulations of teams of UAVs embedded with actual autopilot protocols. An overview of realtime path planning, trajectory tracking and formation control resulting from the proposed platform is given. The software-inthe-loop simulations show the capability of achieving different UAV formations while handling uncertain mass and inertia.

文摘A control algorithm for improving vehicle handling was proposed by applying right angle to the steering wheel,based on the nonlinear adaptive optimal control(NAOC).A nonlinear 4-DOF model was initially developed,then it was simplified to a 2-DOF model with reasonable assumptions to design observer and optimal controllers.Then a simplified model was developed for steering system.The numerical simulations were carried out using vehicle parameters for standard maneuvers in dry and wet road conditions.Moreover,the hardware in the loop method was implemented to prove the controller ability in realistic conditions.Simulation results obviously show the effectiveness of NAOC on vehicle handling and reveal that the proposed controller can significantly improve vehicle handling during severe maneuvers.
文摘This paper presents the automatic drug administration for the regulation of bispectral (BIS) index in the anesthesia process during the clinical surgery by controlling the concentration target of two drugs, namely, propofol and remifentanil. To realize the automatic drug administration, real clinical data are collected for 42 patients for the construction of patients’ models consisting of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models describing the dynamics reacting to the input drugs. A nominal anesthesia model is obtained by taking the average of 42 patients’ models for the design of control scheme. Three PID controllers are employed, namely linear PID controller, type-1 (T1) fuzzy PID controller and interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy PID controller, to regulate the BIS index using the nominal patient’s model. The PID gains and membership functions are obtained using genetic algorithm (GA) by minimizing a cost function measuring the control performance. The best trained PID controllers are tested under different scenarios and compared in terms of control performance. Simulation results show that the IT2 fuzzy PID controller offers the best control strategy regulating the BIS index while the T1 fuzzy PID controller comes the second.
文摘The interference reduction capability of antenna arrays and the power control algorithms have been considered separately as means to decrease the interference in wireless communication networks. In this paper, we propose smart step closed-loop power control (SSPC) algorithm in wireless networks in a 2D urban environment with constrained least mean squared (CLMS) algorithm. This algorithm is capable of efficiently adapting according to the environment and able to permanently maintain the chosen frequency response in the look direction while minimizing the output power of the array. Also, we present switched-beam (SB) technique for enhancing signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) in wireless networks. Also, we study an analytical approach for the evaluation of the impact of power control error (PCE) on wireless networks in a 2D urban environment. The simulation results indicate that the convergence speed of the SSPC algorithm is faster than other algorithms. Also, we observe that significant saving in total transmit power (TTP) are possible with our proposed algorithm. Finally, we discuss three parameters of the PCE, number of antenna elements, and path-loss exponent and their effects on capacity of the system via some computer simulations.

文摘The Hierarchical Structure Fuzzy Logic Control (HSFLC) strategies of torque distribute for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in the mode of operation of the vehicle i. e. , acceleration, cruise, deceleration etc. have been studied. Using secondly developed the hybrid vehicle simulation tool ADVISOR, the dynamic model of PHEV has been set up by MATLAB/SIMULINK. The engine, motor as well as the battery characteristics have been studied. Simulation results show that the proposed hierarchical structured fuzzy logic control strategy is effective over the entire operating range of the vehicle in terms of fuel economy. Based on the analyses of the simulation results and driver’s experiences, a fuzzy controller is designed and developed to control the torque distribution. The controller is evaluated via hardware-in-the-loop simulator (HILS). The results show that controller verify its value.
文摘In this paper, the practicality and feasibility of Active Force Control (AFC) integrated with Fuzzy Logic(AFCAFL) applied to a two link planar arm actuated by a pair of Pneumatic Artificial Muscle (PAM) is investigated. The study emphasizes on the application and control of PAM actuators which may be considered as the new generation of actuators comprising fluidic muscle that has high-tension force, high power to weight ratio and high strength in spite of its drawbacks in the form of high nonlinearity behaviour, high hysteresis and time varying parameters. Fuzzy Logic (FL) is used as a technique to estimate the best value of the inertia matrix of robot arm essential for the AFC mechanism that is complemented with a conventional Propor- tional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control at the outermost loop. A simulation study was first performed followed by an experi- mental investigation for validation. The experimental study was based on the independent joint tracking control and coordinated motion control of the arm in Cartesian or task space. In the former, the PAM actuated arm is commanded to track the prescribed trajectories due to harmonic excitations at the joints for a given frequency, whereas for the latter, two sets of trajectories with different loadings were considered. A practical rig utilizing a Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation (HILS) configuration was developed and a number of experiments were carried out. The results of the experiment and the simulation works were in good agreement, which verified the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed AFCAFL scheme actuated by PAM.

文摘To solve the problem such as too many models, long computing time and so on, a hierarchical multiple models direct adaptive decoupling controller is designed. It consists of multiple levels. In the upper level, the best model is chosen according to the switching index. Then multiple fixed models are constructed on line to cover the region which the above chosen fixed model lies in.In the last level, one free-running and one re-initialized adaptive model are added to guarantee the stability and improve the transient response. By selection of the weighting polynomial matrix, it not only eliminates the steady output error and places the poles of the closed loop system arbitrarily, but also decouples the system dynamically. At last, for this multiple models switching system, global convergence is obtained under common assumptions. Compared with the conventional multiple models adaptive controller, it reduces the number of the fixed models greatly. If the same number of the fixed models is used, the system transient response and decoupling result are improved. The simulation example illustrates the power of the derived controller.

文摘Faults in traction system rectifiers can cause deterioration in system performance,robustness,and continuity.A single fault may propagate and cause the whole system to be shut down.Therefore,improving the robust stability and reliability of the control system is becoming more important.This study presents a robust current control based on a generalized internal model control(GIMC)for single-phase pulse width modulation(PWM)rectifier.The study aims to simultaneously achieve decent dynamic performance and robustness for the rectifiers under current sensor gain faults using generalized internal model control.H∞loop shaping can maintain robustness and achieve acceptable performance for the system in such cases.However,this controller will be conservative during an increase of sensor gain faults.That is,we sacrifice performance for robustness.Therefore,the GIMC structure is proposed to balance robustness and dynamic performance in such cases.The proposed control scheme during sensor gain faults is investigated.Furthermore,the robustness is analyzed using the v-gap metric.The proposed GIMC control framework consists of two parts,nominal and robustness controllers.The system is controlled solely by the nominal controller in normal operation in the absence of current sensor gain faults.If they occur,then the robustness controller will be active to maintain system robustness and achieve acceptable performance.The nominal controller is chosen as H∞loop shaping to assure nominal performance,while the robustness controller is chosen as the plant inverse cascaded by low pass filter to compensate for the sensor gain faults.Hardware-in-loop experimental results indicate that the suggested fault-tolerant control achieves good performance and robustness in comparison to the H∞loop shaping controller.
文摘The main objective of this paper is to develop PI and fuzzy controllers to analyze the performance of instantaneous real active and reactive power (p-q) control strategy for extracting reference currents of shunt active filters (SHAFs) under balanced, unbalanced, and balanced non-sinusoidal conditions. When the supply voltages are balanced and sinusoidal, both controllers converge to the same compensation characteristics. However, if the supply voltages are distorted and/or unbalanced sinusoidal, these controllers result in different degrees of compensation in harmonics. The p-q control strategy with PI controller is unable to yield an adequate solution when source voltages are not ideal. Extensive simulations were carried out with balance, unbalanced, and non-sinusoidal conditions. Simulation results validate the superiority of fuzzy logic controller over PI controller. The three-phase four-wire SHAF system is also implemented on a real-time digital simulator (RTDS hardware) to further verify its effective-ness. The detailed simulation and RTDS hardware results are included.

文摘Nowadays validation of anti-lock braking systems(ABS) relies mainly on a large amount of road tests.An alternative means with higher efficiency is employing the hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) system to substitute part of road tests for designing,testing,and tuning electronic control units(ECUs) of ABS.Most HILS systems for ABS use expensive digital signal processor hardware and special purpose software,and some fail-safe functions with regard to wheel speeds cannot be evaluated since artificial wheel speed signals are usually provided.In this paper,a low-cost ABS HILS test bench is developed and used for validating the anti-lock braking performance and tuning control parameters of ABS controllers.Another important merit of the proposed test bench is that it can comprehensively evaluate the fail-safe functions with regard to wheel speed signals since real tone rings and sensors are integrated in the bench.A 5-DOF vehicle model with consideration of longitudinal load transfer is used to calculate tire forces,wheel speeds and vehicle speed.Each of the four real-time wheel speed signal generators consists of a servo motor plus a ring gear,which has sufficient dynamic response ability to emulate the rapid changes of the wheel speeds under strict braking conditions of very slippery roads.The simulation of braking tests under different road adhesion coefficients using the HILS test bench is run,and results show that it can evaluate the anti-lock braking performance of ABS and partly the fail-safe functions.This HILS system can also be used in such applications as durability test,benchmarking and comparison between different ECUs.The test bench developed not only has a relatively low cost,but also can be used to validate the wheel speed-related ECU design and all its fail-safe functions,and a rapid testing and proving platform with a high efficiency for research and development of the automotive ABS is therefore provided.

文摘This paper presents a framework of a multi-terminal HVDC transmission system and its multi-functional control strategy.The framework possesses the basic characteristics of the DC-grid and is suitable in integrating distributed power sources.The paper proposes the first architecture for a multiterminal HVDC transmission system using the VSC technology.Its control strategy offers various functionalities that include controls for operation mode,start-up and shutdown,DC voltage,and station online re-connecting,which are significantly different from the control of point-to-point VSC-HVDC systems.The framework has not only been evaluated in real-time simulation studies,but has also been implemented onsite for the first time via the China Southern Grid's Nan'ao Multi-terminal VSCHVDC(VSC-MTDC)project.This paper gives a brief review of the current research and engineering achievements in this field,which includes four aspects:the architecture of the VSCMTDC system,the structure of the control and protection system,simulation verification tests setting,and the results of real-time hardware in hardware in loop(HIL)simulation studies and onsite tests.
文摘As one of the key units of space CCD camera,the temperature range and stability of CCD components affect the image's indexes.Reasonable thermal design and robust thermal control devices are needed.One kind of temperature control loop heat pipe(TCLHP) is designed,which highly meets the thermal control requirements of CCD components.In order to study the dynamic behaviors of heat and mass transfer of TCLHP,particularly in the orbital flight case,a transient numerical model is developed by using the well-established empirical correlations for flow models within three dimensional thermal modeling.The temperature control principle and details of mathematical model are presented.The model is used to study operating state,flow and heat characteristics based upon the analyses of variations of temperature,pressure and quality under different operating modes and external heat flux variations.The results indicate that TCLHP can satisfy the thermal control requirements of CCD components well,and always ensure good temperature stability and uniformity.By comparison between flight data and simulated results,it is found that the model is to be accurate to within 1℃.The model can be better used for predicting and understanding the transient performance of TCLHP.

文摘This paper investigates motion coupling disturbance(the so called surplus torque)in the hardware-in-the-loop(HIL)experiments.The''velocity synchronization scheme''was proposed by Jiao for an electro-hydraulic load simulator(EHLS)in 2004.In some situations,however,the scheme is limited in the implementation for certain reasons,as is the case when the actuator's valve signal is not available or it is seriously polluted by noise.To solve these problems,a''dual-loop scheme''is developed for EHLS.The dual-loop scheme is a combination of a torque loop and a position synchronization loop.The role of the position synchronization loop is to decouple the motion disturbance caused by the actuator system.To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme,extensive simulations are performed using AMESim.Then,the performance of the developed method is validated by experiments.
