There are two major classes of antiviral agents that inhibit HIV- 1 RT have been identified, nucleoside RT inhibitors (NRTIs) and non-nucleoside RT inhibitors (NNRTIs). In this report, a noval class of non-nucleoside compound with potential RT inhibitory activity were found from the traditional Chinese medicines database (TCMD) using a combination of virtual screening, docking, molecular dynamic simulations, where results were ranked by scoring function of the docking tool. The result indicates that M4753 (a compound derived from TCMD) has not only the lowest bonding energy but also the best match in geometric conformation with the forthcoming NNRTIs. Accordingly M4753 might possibly become a promising lead compound of NNRTIs for AIDS therapy.展开更多

文摘HIV- 1 RT is an important target for the treatment of AIDS. Accordingly M4753 might possibly become a promising lead compound of NNRTIs for AIDS therapy.
文摘With the internationalization and modernization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), TCM clinical research has accumulated a lot of research information resources. However, these information resources are often scattered in various retrieval systems, which brings some difficulties to the reference and use of this information. Therefore, we collected TCM clinical research protocols which were published in international journals and established Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Protocol Database (TCMCRPD), in order to promote the localization of high-quality researches and improve the ability of TCM clinical research in China. After analyzing the major existing problems of TCM clinical research protocols, this essay describes the necessities and feasibilities of building Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Protocol Database (TCMCRPD) and puts forward some basic technological ideas, so as to provide a theoretical foundation for building the database.
文摘At present, unified and effective treatment for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) is still lacking, however Chinese medicine techniques characterized by syndrome differentiation and treatment, for example traditional Chinese medicine preparations, acupuncture, and fumigation, have been considered the promising alternative for DPN. Traditional Chinese medicine nursing, which is development on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory, uses not only acupuncture, acupoint application and other treatments but also cares for the patient's diet and emotions in order to promote the recovery of skin and nerve endings in patients with DPN. Vast amounts of studies have explored the efficacies of various TCM nursing techniques in managing DPN, however, the article, which comprehensively documented these TCM nursing techniques in DNP patients, cannot be cap- tured. In the present article, we summarized the latest findings of TCM research on DPN in recent years in order to provide a reference for DPN.

文摘As an important branch of medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has been applied for the treatment of diseases for thousands of years in China and other countries in East Asia. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia(ChP) is a drug code formulated by the Chinese government, and it includes a special volume for the monographs of TCM, which plays an important role in ensuring the quality of drugs. The use of quality control technology has always been a complex and important factor in TCM. Owing to the chemical diversity of TCM, chromatography technology has been proven to be a comprehensive strategy for the assessment of the overall quality of TCM and has become the main analytical method in the ChP.This article provides an overview of the classical and modern chromatographic technologies applied in the ChP, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of each technique in the TCM monographs. In 2020, the new edition of the Ch P(the 2020 edition) has been implemented at the end of 2020. This paper also contains a brief introduction about the application of chromatographic technologies in the new edition of the ChP.
文摘To investigate the principles of differentiation and prescription of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment for cancerous fever by logistic stepwise regression and literature investigation, the following databases were searched(from inception to June 30th 2016):CNKI,CSPD,CBM,PubMed,MEDLINE,EMBASE.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, literatures about TCM in the treatment of cancerous fever were screened. The frequency about cancerous fever of differential syndrome types, formulas and herbs were analyzed by logistic multiple regression analysis. The model about syndrome types and formula application of cancerous fever was established. The result showed formula prescriptions used most frequently were Qing-Hao-Bie-Jia decoction,Xiao-Chai-Hu decoction,Xue-Fu-Zhu-Yu decoction,Bai-Hu decoction,San-Ren decoction. The main syndrome types of cancerous fever were as follows:Toxic heat flourishing type,Yin deficiency type,Stagnation of damp-heat type,Qi-Yin deficiency type,Liver meridian depressed-heat type,Blood stasis type and Yang deficiency type.Based on regression equation of the syndrome types, the corresponding herbs of this seven syndrome types were Radix Bupleuri,Radix Paeoniae Alba and Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi;Radix Bupleuri and Cortex Moutan;Radix Paeoniae Rubra and Radix Angelicae Sinensis;Rhizoma Pinelliae,Cortex Lycii Radicis and Radix Paeoniae Alba;Herba Artemisiae Annuae,Gypsum Fibrosum and Poria Cocos;Rhizoma Anemarrhenae,Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi and Radix Codonopsis;Radix Bupleuri respectively. The results of Logistic regression analysis and frequency of herbs statistics can provide reference for differentiation and treatment of cancerous fever in clinical.
文摘AIM:To analyze the literature on the use of Chinese herbal medicines for the treatment of cholecystitis.METHODS:The literature on treatment of cholecystitis with traditional Chinese medicines(TCM) was analyzed based on the principles and methods described by evidence-based medicine(EBM).Eight databases including MEDLINE,EMbase,Cochrane Central(CCTR),four Chinese databases(China Biological MedicineDatabase,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Database of Chinese Science and Technology Periodicals,Database of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology) and Chinese Clinical Registry Center, were searched.Full text articles or abstracts concerning TCM treatment of cholecystitis were selected, categorized according to study design, the strength of evidence, the first author's hospital type, and analyzed statistically.RESULTS:A search of the literature published from 1977 through 2009 yielded 1468 articles in Chinese and 9 in other languages;and 93.92% of the articles focused on clinical studies. No article was of levelⅠevidence, and 9.26% were of level Ⅱ evidence. The literature cited by Science Citation Index(SCI),MEDLINE and core Chinese medical journals accounted for 0.41%,0.68% and 7.29%,respectively.Typically,the articles featured in case reports of illness, examined from the perspective of EBM,were weak in both quality and evidence level, which inconsistently conflicted with the fact that most of the papers were by authors from Level-3 hospitals, the highest possible level evaluated based on their comprehensive quality and academic authenticity in China.CONCLUSION:The published literature on TCM treatment of cholecystitis is of low quality and based on low evidence, and cognitive medicine may functions as a useful supplementary framework for the evaluation.
