[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the differences in chemical composition of supercritical CO2 extraction products in peels of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. from Changqing district. [Method] Supercritical fluidextraction (SFE) and GCMS method were applied to determine and analyze the chemical components of the extracts in peels of three strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. [Result] The chemical components of supercritical CO2 extraction products in peels of three strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. varied., and the number of chemical components with normalized percentage content higher than 1% was 5, 7 and 8, respectively. There are 14 kinds of common components, and the relative content of hexadecanoic acid was the highest. [Conclusion] Supercritical CO2 extracts in peels of different strains of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. contain different chemical components, providing scientific basis for breeding excellent varieties and the development and utilization of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. 展开更多

This paper studied the fertilizer requirement and soil fertility supply capacity of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.,discussed the application effects of organic fertilizer in Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.The results showed that the yield of Trichodanthes kirilowii Maxim.at Jinjing site by applying special organic longacting fertilizer increased by 11.3%and earnings by 3.6%,the yield at Ansha site increased by 17.4%,and earnings by 9.2%.It was pointed out that high-yielding fertilization of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.was achieved by first applying organic fertilizer to ensure good soil structure,and then by ensuring an effective supply of nitrogen,potassium,boron,molybdenum and zinc fertilizers. 展开更多

Ribosome-inactivating proteins in Trichosanthes kirilowii having high anti-HIV activity can be efficiently obtained by culturing Trichosanthes kirilowii hairy root. A hairy root line from Trichosanthes kirilowii was cultivated in flasks and in a 5-L bioreactor. The results show that a logistic equation can be used to describe the relationship between the hairy root biomass and the culture time. The medium conductivity decrease is linearly related to the biomass amount. In the suspension culture, the hairy root growth is closely related to the nutrient consumption. The biomass to nitrate yield is 0.352 g/mmol. The growth rate of the hairy root in the bioreactor is higher than that in the flasks, and after a 12-day culture its growth rate enters a high-speed period when the growth rate is 0.738 g/( L·d). 展开更多

It crystallizes in orthorhombic system, space group P212121 with C30H48O2CH3OHH2O (C31H54O4), a = 7.515(1), b = 14.407(1), c = 27.799(2) , V = 3009.8(5) 3, Z = 4, Dx = 1.087 g/cm3, Mr = 490.77, F(000) = 1088 and = 0.086 mm-1. The final R = 0.0840 and wR = 0.2289 for 2752 observed reflections (|F|2 ≥ 2|F|2). The molecular crystal structure of karounidiol shows relative stereochemistry of (3,13,14, 20)-3,29-dihydroxy-13-methyl-26-norolean-7,9(11)-diene. The molecule is composed of five six- membered rings with ring junctures of A/B trans, C/D trans and D/E cis. 展开更多

From the press-residue of the fresh root tuber of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim (Cu-curbitaceae),a new ribosome-inactivating protein (RIP),trichobitacin,was isolated.It has the activity of RNA N-glycosidase and can inhibit the growth of human placental trophoblastic cells.Its molecular weight is 27,228 Da (ES-MS) and pI 9.6.It is a single chain basic RIP.Its amino acid composition was determined.It is a new RIP.It consists of 0.7~0.9% galactose and may be a glycoprotein.Its A'-and C-terminal amino acid is Asp and Ala,respectively.Its N-terminal preliminary amino acid sequence has been determined. 展开更多
