Brachycalyx Sweet, 58 species and two varieties from sect. Tsutsusi Sweet, and six species from subgen. Pentanthera (G. Don) Pojarkova, respectively. Pollen morphology of all samples was observed using LM and SEM. Pollen grains are revealed to be spheroidal and tetrahedral with tricolporate apertures. Pollen sizes of subgen. Tsutsusi (Sweet) Pojarkova range from 37.67 μm to 61.06μm, and the exine sculptures are more or less compactly granulated. Pollen sizes are significantly different between sect. Brachycalyx and sect. Tsutsusi of subgen. Tsutsusi. Rhododendron tashiroi Maxim. of sect. Tsusiopsis Sleumer shows a close affinity to sect. Brachycalyx. Pollen size and exine are consistent with general morphology in differentiating species in sect. Tsutsusi. Rhododendron huadingense B. Y. Ding & Y. Y. Fang, once placed as a member of sect. Brachycalyx, should be considered as a species in subgen. Pentanthera. 展开更多

映山红亚属内品种间杂交F_(1)代花色苷种类及定量分析 被引量:2

【目的】花色是植物的重要观赏性状,花色苷在花色呈现中起着决定性作用。对花色苷种类及其含量进行分析,可以为解析花瓣呈色的机理奠定基础。【方法】本研究以映山红亚属3个杂交组合的双亲及其子代共36份样品为对象,利用超高效液相色谱... 【目的】花色是植物的重要观赏性状,花色苷在花色呈现中起着决定性作用。对花色苷种类及其含量进行分析,可以为解析花瓣呈色的机理奠定基础。【方法】本研究以映山红亚属3个杂交组合的双亲及其子代共36份样品为对象,利用超高效液相色谱四极杆飞行时间质谱仪定性定量检测花瓣中花色苷的组分,并分析花色苷在亲子代中的分离变化规律。【结果】本研究中共检测到17种化合物,其中芍药色素3-O-半乳糖苷、飞燕草素3-半乳糖苷、锦葵素3-O-半乳糖苷和矮牵牛素3-半乳糖苷首次在映山红亚属植物中检测到。映山红亚属植物中的花青素以矢车菊素和芍药色素为主,且主要以阿拉伯糖苷的形式存在。其中矢车菊素3-阿拉伯糖苷、矢车菊素3-O-葡萄糖苷和芍药色素与映山红亚属花瓣的红色着色相关。飞燕草素3-阿拉伯糖苷、飞燕草素3-O-葡萄糖苷、锦葵素3-阿拉伯糖苷和锦葵素3-O-葡萄糖苷与映山红亚属花瓣的紫色着色相关,矮牵牛素3-O-阿拉伯糖苷与花瓣紫红色着色相关。花色苷的分离分析结果表明,矢车菊素类和芍药色素类糖苷表现出超亲遗传的特性,锦葵素3-阿拉伯糖苷、锦葵素3-O-葡萄糖苷、矮牵牛素3-O-阿拉伯糖苷表现出偏向父本遗传的特性。【结论】本研究从花色苷种类和含量角度解析了映山红亚属花色呈色机制,同时也为花色育种的亲本选择提供了参考资料。 展开更多

Determination of genetic relationships between evergreen azalea cultivars in China using AFLP markers 被引量:7

Evergreen azaleas are among the most important ornamental shrubs in China.Today,there are probably over 300 cultivars preserved in different nurseries,but with little information available on the cultivar itself or relationships between cultivars.Amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) markers were employed to determine the genetic relationships between evergreen azalea cultivars in China.One hundred and thirty genotypes collected from gardens and nurseries,including cultivars classified in the groups East,West,Hairy,and Summer,unknown cultivars,and close species,were analyzed using three primer pairs.A total of 408 polymorphic fragments were generated by AFLP reactions with an average of 136 fragments per primer pair.The average values of expected heterozygosity and Shannon's information index were 0.3395 and 0.5153,respectively.Genetic similarities were generated based on Dice coefficients,used to construct a neighbor joining tree,and bootstrapped for 100 replicates in Treecon V1.3b.Principal coordinate analysis(PCO) was performed based on Dice distances using NTSYS-pc software.The AFLP technique was useful for analyzing genetic diversity in evergreen azaleas.Cluster analysis revealed that cultivars in the West and Summer groups were quite distinct from other groups in the four-group classification system and that the East and Hairy groups should be redefined. 展开更多
