To analyze the effects of width and thickness of each composition element of mixed steel U-rib-stiffened plates on the welding residual stress distribution, the distribution of the U-rib and the plate residual stress ...To analyze the effects of width and thickness of each composition element of mixed steel U-rib-stiffened plates on the welding residual stress distribution, the distribution of the U-rib and the plate residual stress was calculated using a simplified calculation method. The method involved welding the mixed steel U-rib-stiffened plates for a structure with different sizes and different strength ratios of U-rib to plate. Based on a welding residual stress numerical simulation method validated by the blind hole method test, the distribution law of the mixed steel U-rib stiffened plate was studied. The results showed that the change of plate width has little impact on the welding residual stress and that the ratio of the thicknesses of the plate to U-rib stiffeners, the thickness of the plate, and the thickness of the U-rib has a great influence on the distribution of the welding residual stress. The thickness of plate and steel strength also greatly influenced the distribution width of the residual tensile stress. While analyzing the compression capacity of U-rib-stiffened plates, the simplified distribution of welding residual stress was used.展开更多

Since Harbin Welding Training Institute(WTI Harbin) was founded based on Sino-German cooperation in 1984, it has trained all kinds of welding personnel 20000 and it made important contribution to the up-to-date system introduction of international welding training to China. The common questions in Germany foreign aid programs are: when German experts were on site, the project was on the operation; when he/they left, only memory was left. The outstanding achievements of Harbin Welding Training Institute tell us: when German experts were away, the cooperation program is not only run normally, but also gets persistent development, it is the successful model among the cooperation projects between China and Germany.展开更多
The influence of aging time,measuring frequency and strain amplitude on the internal friction of TiNi51/TiNi50.2 sandwich composite was investigated.The DSC and internal friction measurements were employed to characte...The influence of aging time,measuring frequency and strain amplitude on the internal friction of TiNi51/TiNi50.2 sandwich composite was investigated.The DSC and internal friction measurements were employed to characterize the sample.The two internal friction peaks of the specimen were confirmed corresponding to the reverse transformation of TiNi51 and TiNi50.2 component, respectively.The internal friction as a function of the temperature at different measuring frequencies was presented and it was found that the height of both internal friction peaks increased with decreasing frequency;however,the increase corresponding to TiNi50.2 component was larger than that of TiNi51 component.Furthermore,the internal friction of the TiNi/TiNi composite alloy decreased with increasing the measuring strain amplitude.The height of internal friction peak of TiNi51 component increased with increasing the aging time,whereas that of the TiNi50.2 component did not change significantly.The increase in internal friction of TiNi51 appeared to be associated with the formation and growth of precipitate during the aging process.展开更多
