荷兰代尔夫特理工大学Urban Design工作坊教学模式对我国城市设计课程教学的启示

荷兰代尔夫特理工大学的Urban Design工作坊小组教学模式,为我国城市设计教育提供了创新路径。该模式强化学生跨学科思维与问题解决能力,通过项目实践培育评审、模拟、谈判、决策及冲突管理等技能,教师角色转变为引导者和促进者,激励创新并深化团队协作与沟通。针对我国城市设计教育现状,建议加强综合能力的培养,促进理论教学与设计实践的深度结合,并构建均衡的课程评估框架。此模式的本土化将有力推动我国城市设计教育的创新与发展。

Research on the Application and Development of Digital Media Art in Urban Public Space Design

Digital media art is an emerging art form that combines digital technology and media art.It has huge potential to bring innovation to urban public spaces and provide them with vibrant artistic experiences.This article analyzes the design significance and value of digital media art in urban public space,its various forms of application in urban public space design,and the innovative ideas and paths that digital media art can take in urban public space to guide the future.The application and innovative methods of digital media art in urban public space design provide certain theoretical and practical references for urban planners and designers.

Influence of Urban Street Greening Design under the Concept of Green Healthy Cities:A Case Study of Hefei City

In order to explore the influence of urban street greening,the street landscape of Changjiang West Road and Xiyou Road in Hefei City was selected as the research sample to study the design of urban street landscape under the concept of green healthy cities.The results show that the urban street landscape of Hefei City is single in design and plant type,and plant maintenance management is not good.It is proposed to strengthen the maintenance and management of street greening,increase the types of native plants,and improve cultural connotation,so as to enhance the artistry,regionalism and functionality of urban street landscape in Hefei City.

Assessing Flexible Places for Adaptive Urban Design:A New Method and the Case of Cittaducale

Each place has its own peculiarities,determining that the resilience and adaptation to diverse types of risks will be different,requiring different time and methods for mitigation as well.The coexistence of several risks determines further resolution difficulties as commonly,since risks are sudden and unforeseen,there is a tendency to treat the last risk more carefully,neglecting the previous one even if it is just as important.Most of the methodologies used to analyse areas affected by different risks are aimed at focusing in particular on seismic risks without considering those relating to intangible aspects linked to the identity of the places or aspects related to urban health and liveability.And,more in general,in relation to design aspects,urban methodologies do not consider all the results of the analyses,maybe for the difficulty deriving from translating the complexity of collected data in project interventions.Starting from these premises,the objective of the article,elaborated within the SISMI and PRIN 2020 research projects is to propose an original methodology capable of analysing the places affected by multiple risks and planning its resilience attentive to its cultural resources and to its liveability.To this end,the proposed method will be aimed at creating flexible and adaptive places and the case-study of Cittaducale will be illustrated.Criticalities and qualities of this place affected by an earthquake in 2016 will be reported and project interventions to transform its risks into opportunities will be shown.

Application Strategy of Green Transportation Concept in Urban Road Design

Urban traffic and urban environmental pollution are important issues that must be taken into account in the process of urbanization,especially in China.Modernization has enabled many developed countries in the west to carry out rational city traffic planning.At the same time,the concept of green transportation has also emerged,integrating low-energy consumption,low pollution,comfort,and safety into urban traffic to effectively solve issues pertaining to traffic and pollution.The concept of green transportation has been widely adopted in China and made popular in many cities,thereby promoting the sustainable development of cities.

Global Urban Design Research from 2007 to 2017: A Systematic Research Review

Urban design research in the last decade was reported by conducting a bibliometric analysis of the literature published worldwide between 2007 and 2017. The exploratory study aimed to show the origins and frontiers for researchers. The document co-occurrence analysis of keywords and co-citation analysis of references were made in CiteS pace III to explore research basements and research trajectories, emerging trends and new development, together with Bibexcel tools. Physical activities and thermal comfort are two main topics of urban design research that are indirectly connected in some way, and sociological and computer-based research is likely to be strengthened.

A Geodesign Method of Human-Energy-Water Interactive Systems for Urban Infrastructure Design： 10KM2 Near-Zero District Project in Shanghai

The grand challenges of climate change demand a new paradigm of urban design that takes the perfor- mance of urban systems into account, such as energy and water efficiency. Traditional urban design methods focus on the form-making process and lack performance dimensions. Geodesign is an emerging approach that emphasizes the links between systems thinking, digital technology, and geographic con- text. This paper presents the research results of the first phase of a larger research collaboration and pro- poses an extended geodesign method for a district-scale urban design to integrate systems of renewable energy production, energy consumption, and storm water management, as well as a measurement of human experiences in cities. The method incorporates geographic information system （GIS）, parametric modeling techniques, and multidisciplinary design optimization （MDO） tools that enable collaborative design decision-making. The method is tested and refined in a test case with the objective of designing a near-zero-energy urban district. Our final method has three characteristics. （1） Integrated geodesign and parametric design： It uses a parametric design approach to generate focal-scale district prototypes by means of a custom procedural algorithm, and applies geodesign to evaluate the performances of design proposals. （2） A focus on design flow： It elaborates how to define problems, what information is selected, and what criteria are used in making design decisions. （3） Multi-objective optimization： The test case produces indicators from performance modeling and derives principles through a multi-objective computational experiment to inform how the design can be improved. This paper concludes with issues and next steps in modeling urban design and infrastructure systems based on MDO tools.

Ecological Planning and Design of Urban Green Space System of Sanya City

The construction of International Tourism Island has accelerated the development of Sanya City. The population aggregation and the external extension of urban area have brought a lot of negative effects, such as discontinuities of green space matrix, dysfunction of green wedge permeation, deficiency of eco-corridor, structural imbalance of green space system and so on. The overall layout of Green space system known as "One Belt & Three Bays, One Core & Six Towns, Two Axes & Three Wedges, Two Net Synchronous-construction" strengthens the eco-connection among different groups and green space in central area of the city, and realizes the collaborative construction of both resource corridor and landscape corridor. The eco-layout of green core, green corridor and green patch helps keep the integrity of large vegetation patches, enhances the eco-connection of different types of green space and improves finger-shaped network of urban green space. The most efficient way to promote the circulation of urban ecosystem and the positive development of Sanya City is to plan multilevel and three-dimensional eco-space structure and maximize ecological benefits of green space system.

Design of Integrated Monitoring and Early Warning System of Urban Rail Transit Train Running State

The monitoring and warning of urban rail transit is the core of operation management, and the breadth and depth of the monitoring range directly affect the quality of urban rail transit operation. For the current domestic monitoring system, most of the critical equipments and technologies are introduced from abroad;it is diseconomy, and also causes hidden danger. Realizing the localization of monitoring and early warning system is imperative. Based on the analysis of the present situation of urban rail transit operation safety at home and abroad, the paper proposes to use integrated technology to design basic framework of monitoring and warning system of urban rail train, and puts forward the critical technologies to realize the system. Compared with the existing monitoring system, the integrated monitoring system has the characteristics of wide monitoring range, clear division of labor, centralized management, coordination and integration operation and intelligent management, and embodies the concept of people-oriented. It has scientific significance for future construction of domestic Integrated Monitoring and Early Warning System (IMEWS) of urban rail transit.

Design of the Three-Dimensional Transportation System in Commercial Districts Against the Background of Urban Renewal:A Case Study of Shangbu District in Shenzhen

In this paper,Shangbu district,Shenzhen was taken for example to study the design of the three-dimensional transportation system in commercial districts against the background of urban renewal,so as to provide references for solving serious traffic problems in old urban industrial areas.Shangbu district adopted a diversified development model to ensure the appropriate spatial scale and constructed a three-dimensional transportation system concerning the underground,ground,and overground planes to guarantee the coexistence of people,goods,and vehicles.

“Data Hegemony”: Reflections for the Application and Development Direction of Metaverse Technology in Urban Design based on Digital

This paper is based on the phenomenon of Tittytainment and big data control.It discusses the ways in which working youths live and work in their large suburban communities in Beijing as well as their leisure and entertainment activities.Then develops a problem statement and research questions.In addition,the project explores this reality phenomenon dialectically through the analysis and speculation of the new virtual reality technology“Metaverse.”Based on a critical design approach,the phenomenon is explored through a detailed description and examination of reality,before critically suggesting the possibility of future social control by big data companies through the“metaverse”space.Furthermore,this paper alerts to the neoliberalism that dominates globalization through anti-utopian expressions,waking up young people who are compromised by big data control and addicted to Tittytainment.

Application of 3D Digital Technology in Urban Design:A Case Study of Wuhan City

To achieve standardization and facilitation of urban design and 3D demonstration of construction program,and provide technological support for urban design and approval of construction program,this project integrates planning control elements,builds 3D urban design platform and explores functions of the platform on the basis of existing 3D information base.The platform will improve the efficiency of planning management department's controlling over urban spaces and buildings,further play the role of planning department in supporting the urban construction decision making,and also promote the overall city image and quality of urban spaces.

Urban and Architectural Design of the Piazza del Governo in Enna

The paper deals with the urban space of Piazza del Governo in Enna, a town located in the center of Sicily. This square was realized in 1935 by the architect Salvatore Caronia Roberti and is representative of the 1930s＇ fascist regime. The aim of this research is the knowledge of this urban space： the historical references, the compositive choices, the planimetric layout and its geometric rigor, and the monumentality and representativeness of the buildings overlooking the square. The research used the tools of Survey and Representation to better understand the dimensional ratios both at the urban and architectural scale. We have carried out an integrated survey （direct, photogrammetric, 3D laser scanning） in order to acquire a whole set of information essential to describe, document, and appreciate all the features of this urban space. Our investigation started by analyzing the historical documents preserved at the Historic Archive of the city of Enna （project drawings, letters, and historical images） to better understand why some decisions have been taken. The final result represents the historical memory up-to-date of the whole urban space, and it allows any academics to investigate more about the project： the initial decisions, the conservation state, and the possible and more coherent interventions of maintenance and preservation.

Megalopolis:Analyze Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region based on Urban Design Since 1945

This paper introduces the definition,the features,and advantages of megalopolis according to the book called Urban Design Since 1945,and compares the definition,features,advantages and problems of the megalopolis mentioned in the book with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)urban region.Although megalopolis solves different urban problems for regions,it still faces different problems.In the future,urban planners should pay attention to the sustainable development of urban ecology and make rational use of various resources.

City Design for Urban Gateway Area Based on Regional Culture: A Case Study of the Guangyuan Railway Station Area

The importance of urban portal has been improved, but the phenomenon of image convergence has become increasingly prominent. The urban design of urban portal area should analyze and refine the regional culture of landscape culture, life culture, architectural culture, historical culture and so on, and combine with the design contents such as functional orientation, spatial pattern, public space, architectural style and landscape environment.

Urban-Design Process with Snow and Wind Simulations： A Study on the Kitami City Hall

Regional climatic conditions should be considered while designing urban development plans, with special attention to the impact of snowfall on public spaces in cities with harsh winters. The Kitami-city-hall-renewal project in Hokkaido, Japan was studied as an environmental assessment of snow drifting. Assessments of the two site plans proposed during the architectural planning process （A-type and B-type） were conducted in terms of the following three items： （1） The two site plans indicate snow-drifting problems around the main entrance; （2） More number of local snowdrifts on the main-street sidewalks were suggested in the B-type design; （3） Less number of snowdrifts in the parking area beside the railroad were indicated in the A-type design. These results were reflected in the architectural planning process. On the basis of this study, a desirable design process incorporating environmental assessments has been identified for cities with harsh winters.

Urban Space Reshaping Based on Regional Urban Design:A Case Study of Urban Design of Taiping Bay Wharf Area in Yantai City

In the process of rapid development of urbanization and constant adjustment of urban space,urban characteristics are faced with many challenges.Taking Taiping Bay wharf area of Yantai City as an example,the paper sorts out the spatial construction problems from the aspects of historical development,urban texture and cultural characteristics by exploring the research process and methods of regional urban design,and put forward optimization strategies from the perspectives of urban structure optimization,street image design,industrial building transformation and cultural space establishment based on the characteristic resources of the area,thus providing experiences for future regional urban design.

A Case Study on Optimization of Urban Design Base on Wind Environment Simulation

Wind environment simulation of a commercial district in Baise city of Guangxi Province, China, is carried out in the design phase. The results are analyzed and based on the evaluation standard for greening building of China. The simulation method is discussed in detail, and some suggestions for wind environment optimization are put forward, which might be helpful for similar research.

Geoctenologies Applied to Evolution in Urban Design in a City in Southern Brazil

The evolution process of urban design is the result of transformations due to population increase along the expansion of cities on a global scale.Geotechnologies applied to forms of mapping make it possible to understand the changes that have occurred in urban spaces in relation to temporal space.The general objective of this study is to analyze the change that occurred from the year 2010 to 2021,in the evolution of urban design,in the city of Marau(southern Brazil).The identification of urban evolution in the years 2010 and 2021 was carried out.These data were modeled using the QGIS software,in the SIRGAS(Geocentric Reference System for the Americas)database,related to the evolution of urban design in Marau.The results demonstrate the need to apply geotechnologies not only in the city of Marau,but in other cities worldwide,because city halls need precision maps,avoiding the fragmentation of the urban fabric,a result of population expansion not projected in the built environment.

Application of Interactive Installations in Urban Landscape Design

At present,many scholars at home and abroad have put forward classic theoretical knowledge about interactive installations,but the application research of interactive installations in urban landscape design is relatively vague.Moreover,most of them focus on the research of individual interactive installations without taking the surrounding environment into consideration,and there are few targeted researches on the application of interactive installations in landscape design.In this study,through the investigation on interactive forms and implementation methods of interactive installation intervention in urban landscapes,as well as domestic excellent cases,we discovered the existing problems of interactive installation intervention in urban landscape design and put forward our own opinions on future development.
