Mechatronic product development is a complex and multidisciplinary field that encompasses various domains, including, among others, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control theory and software engineeri...Mechatronic product development is a complex and multidisciplinary field that encompasses various domains, including, among others, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control theory and software engineering. The integration of artificial intelligence technologies is revolutionizing this domain, offering opportunities to enhance design processes, optimize performance, and leverage vast amounts of knowledge. However, human expertise remains essential in contextualizing information, considering trade-offs, and ensuring ethical and societal implications are taken into account. This paper therefore explores the existing literature regarding the application of artificial intelligence as a comprehensive database, decision support system, and modeling tool in mechatronic product development. It analyzes the benefits of artificial intelligence in enabling domain linking, replacing human expert knowledge, improving prediction quality, and enhancing intelligent control systems. For this purpose, a consideration of the V-cycle takes place, a standard in mechatronic product development. Along this, an initial assessment of the AI potential is shown and important categories of AI support are formed. This is followed by an examination of the literature with regard to these aspects. As a result, the integration of artificial intelligence in mechatronic product development opens new possibilities and transforms the way innovative mechatronic systems are conceived, designed, and deployed. However, the approaches are only taking place selectively, and a holistic view of the development processes and the potential for robust and context-sensitive artificial intelligence along them is still needed.展开更多

The one is a new parameter Redzc named energy to differential zerocrossing rate which is used in adaptation of V/UV decision of transitional segments and low energy level speech segments. The other is a multi-path searching method for Multi-Stage Vector Quantization (MSVQ) of line spectral frequency. Subjective tests show that the intelligiblity and naturallity of improved MELP vocoder are preferable to those of the original one.展开更多

Ultra-violet(UV)curing is an efficient method for composite molding.Firstly,thermophysical properties of UV cured glass-fiber reinforced plastics are conducted.Material properties are studied for various kinds of post...Ultra-violet(UV)curing is an efficient method for composite molding.Firstly,thermophysical properties of UV cured glass-fiber reinforced plastics are conducted.Material properties are studied for various kinds of postcuring modes.Then the UV curing method is suggested in manufacturing V-crimp folded core for sandwich panels.Two kinds of processing schemes for V-crimp folded core manufacturing using UV curing are presented.Finally,the effect of post-curing on the mechanical properties of folded core sandwiches is experimentally studied,and optimum modes of post-curing are determined.The experimental results show that the ultimate compressive strength of the folded sandwiches is increased by 60% after post-curing with the optimum post-curing mode.展开更多
A simple ultraviolet (UV) decision making method using sub bands can greatly reduce the computational complexity and the memory requirements in the MBE LPC algorithm and can reduce the difficulties in DSP real ti...A simple ultraviolet (UV) decision making method using sub bands can greatly reduce the computational complexity and the memory requirements in the MBE LPC algorithm and can reduce the difficulties in DSP real time fixed point implementation and integrated circuit chips. The frequency waveform of each sub band of the linear prediction coding (LPC) residue is used to calculate the autocorrelation function. Its periodicity is analyzed to determine if it is voice or unvoice. The principles of this UV decision are compatible with that of the full band speech UV decision. A subjective listening test showed that the speech synthesized by this method is not inferior to that of the standard multi band exitation (MBE) algorithm.展开更多
