Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in Ductile Irons (DI) is often required by foundries for practical manufacturing reasons. The mechanical properties of the welded structures are strongly dependent on their HAZ’s width. A model based on the behaviour of the ferritic matrix of high-Si DIs in order to make an approach in measuring their HAZ’s width is developed in this study. A series of thermal treatments on 3.35 and 3.75 wt% Si as-cast DIs and spot SMAWs is applied on these materials. The applied SMAWs are done on non-preheated and preheated samples (150℃ - 300℃). For welding we modify the amperage (100 - 140A). The micro-hardness Vickers changes in the ferrite of the as-cast samples and inside the HAZ of the welded ones can be attributed to the existence of residual stresses (RS) in the ferritic matrix and assist in estimating the HAZ’s width. 展开更多

目的:分析桡骨远端穹窿截骨合并Vickers韧带松解(DRO+VR)治疗马德隆畸形的临床疗效。方法:回顾性病例系列分析。收集2012年1月至2023年8月南京医科大学附属儿童医院治疗的15例马德隆畸形患儿的临床资料,根据术式将患儿分为DRO+VR组和其... 目的:分析桡骨远端穹窿截骨合并Vickers韧带松解(DRO+VR)治疗马德隆畸形的临床疗效。方法:回顾性病例系列分析。收集2012年1月至2023年8月南京医科大学附属儿童医院治疗的15例马德隆畸形患儿的临床资料,根据术式将患儿分为DRO+VR组和其他术式组。记录随访时间,测量术前及末次随访时的尺侧倾斜角(UT)、月骨下沉(LS)、掌腕移位(PCD)、月骨窝角(LFA)、腕关节掌屈(WF)、腕关节背伸(WE)及疼痛视觉模拟评分(VAS)。计量资料比较采用独立样本t检验,分类变量比较采用Fisher′s确切概率法。结果:随访10~96个月,DRO+VR组随访时间(27.17±15.51)个月,其他术式组随访时间(48.00±24.06)个月。2组患儿术前一般资料、影像学指标及功能评估情况比较,差异均无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。DRO+VR组患儿术前与终末随访时影像学指标及功能评估情况比较,术前UT[(49.00±3.10)°]、LFA[(34.50±3.78)°]、LS[(7.29±3.61)mm]、PCD[(12.06±3.39)mm]、WF[(61.17±1.47)°]、WE[(48.67±1.86)°]、VAS[(7.33±1.03)分]与终末随访UT[(31.83±2.40)°]、LFA[(49.83±4.02)°]、LS[(2.29±1.48)mm]、PCD[(4.35±2.37)mm]、WF[(67.50±3.33)°]、WE[(60.50±4.42)°]、VAS[(2.67±0.52)分]比较,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。2组患儿终末随访时影像学指标及功能评估与术前改善比较结果显示,DRO+VR组UT的改善为(17.17±2.32)°,其他术式组为(51.78±7.66)°,差异有统计学意义(t=-2.241,P=0.043)。结论:DRO+VR是治疗儿童马德隆畸形的有效手段,可显著改善患儿影像学指标及腕关节功能,显著缓解疼痛症状。对于有疼痛症状、畸形严重的马德隆畸形,应积极选择手术治疗。 展开更多

Palm fiber (PF) reinforced acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) composite matrix was prepared by employing Injection Moulding Machine (IMM). Palm fiber was collected from ten different trees of different age group from Comilla region in Bangladesh. Three sets of samples were prepared for three different wt% (5%, 10% and 20%) of fiber contents. The mechanical (tensile strength, flexural stress, micro hardness, Leeb’s rebound hardness) and physical (bulk density and water absorption) properties were measured. The observed result reveals that the tensile strength (TS) and flexural stress (FS) were decreased with increasing fiber contents in the PF-ABS composites except 10% fiber content. 展开更多

Triglycine sulfate crystal and potassium bromide doped triglycine sulfate crystals were grown from aqueous solution by slow evaporation method. Energy dispersive X-ray analysis identifies the elements present in the crystal. The Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy has been recorded in the range 400 to 4000 cm-1 and the functional groups of the grown crystals have been identified. The structural studies on the grown crystals were carried out by X-ray diffraction analysis technique and found that the grown crystal crystallizes in monoclinic structure. The lattice cell parameters of pure Triglycine sulfate are a = 9.6010 ?, b = 12.5600 ?, c = 5.4500 ?. Ultraviolet-Visible spectra show that the grown crystals have wide optical transparency in the entire visible region. 展开更多

Inwall shot blasting is a method of improving the surface hardness and high temperature oxidation resistance of the S30432 high-pressure boiler tube.The differences on residual stress,sub-grain size,micro-hardness and structure between the S30432 inwall shot-blasting tube produced by Baosteel with six technological process parameters and the imported super 304H were studied systematically by contrast test research.It has been demonstrated that the S30432 obtains a higher residual stress,a deeper distributed layer and a better sub-grain size of the inwall field shot-blasting layer;the martensite content of the shot-blasting surface was low;and micro-hardness and structure refinement were better.After 2000 h’ oxidation test under the 650℃/26MPa steam condition,steam oxidation resistance of the Baosteel steel tube shot-blasting surface was higher,the oxide layer was thinner,and was well combined with bulk material. 展开更多

Langenskiold Procedure for Madelung’s Deformity:Case Series of Late Sequelae

Background: Although many authors advise to postpone surgical intervention until skeletal maturity is reached, the Langenski&ouml;ld procedure—entailing physiolysis and the release of Vickers’ ligament—is a known procedure in case of Madelung’s deformity in children. Although advised in textbooks and recent reviews, the results and late sequelae of this procedure have been poorly documented. The aim of this study is to portray the late effects of this procedure for three patients and emphasize a very careful patient selection. Methods: A retrospective study was performed of the medical records of three patients who underwent a Langenski&ouml;ld procedure with release of Vickers’ ligament for Madelung’s deformity of the wrist. They were recalled for function evaluation and their results are presented in the current study. Results: We report the long term results of three patients (five wrists) who underwent a Langenski&ouml;ld procedure with release of Vickers’ ligament in detail. Mean follow-up was twelve years (range: 11 - 14 years). In all of the operated wrists severe pain recurred due to destruction of the distal radio-ulnar joint. Further salvaging surgeries were necessary, some with highly dissatisfying results. Conclusions: Based on our experience we advise not to perform this procedure until further studies have proven its effectiveness and clear indications. Other techniques are available for later correction of Madelung’s deformity, with similar results on pain relief, wrist function and cosmetics. However, we will advocate conservative treatment until skeletal maturity is reached. 展开更多

目的以纳米金刚石(UFD)为填料加入到自行合成的光固化核树脂中,测试核树脂的性能变化。方法将不同含量的钡玻璃粉填料和UFD加入到树脂基质中制得6组光固化核树脂,分别测试它们的挠曲强度、维氏显微硬度和光固化深度,使用单因素方差分析... 目的以纳米金刚石(UFD)为填料加入到自行合成的光固化核树脂中,测试核树脂的性能变化。方法将不同含量的钡玻璃粉填料和UFD加入到树脂基质中制得6组光固化核树脂,分别测试它们的挠曲强度、维氏显微硬度和光固化深度,使用单因素方差分析法对挠曲强度、维氏显微硬度值的测量结果进行统计学分析。结果仅加质量分数为0.2%硅烷化处理的UFD即可使钡玻璃含量分别为60%和70%的两种光固化核树脂的挠曲强度分别提高34%和21%,而维氏显微硬度分别增加23%和30%;同时核树脂的固化深度均超过2 mm,符合相应的国际标准要求。但是UFD会对核树脂的颜色产生一定影响。结论微量UFD的加入能显著改善树脂的机械性能,同时又不影响材料的固化性能,但是对树脂颜色的影响需进一步改善。 展开更多

针对工程应用前景广阔的HRB500高强钢筋,对其闪光对焊焊接试件的力学性能、维氏硬度、金相显微组织及疲劳强度进行试验研究与分析,主要结论为:HRB500高强钢筋闪光对焊焊接性能良好,闪光对焊前后其强度和冷弯力学性能变化不大,焊件拉伸... 针对工程应用前景广阔的HRB500高强钢筋,对其闪光对焊焊接试件的力学性能、维氏硬度、金相显微组织及疲劳强度进行试验研究与分析,主要结论为:HRB500高强钢筋闪光对焊焊接性能良好,闪光对焊前后其强度和冷弯力学性能变化不大,焊件拉伸断口形貌具有明显延性断裂特征,且断口远离焊缝位置;闪光对焊使焊接接头区域产生贝氏体,从母材向焊缝区域过渡,维氏硬度先增大后又有所降低,焊缝位置的维氏硬度与钢筋母材相当;由S-N曲线模型和升降法得到母材与焊件的疲劳强度及其发展规律,焊件的疲劳寿命更为离散,且普遍低于母材的疲劳寿命;对应200万次疲劳荷载作用时,焊件的疲劳强度较母材降低的更明显;对应10~7次疲劳荷载作用时,两者疲劳强度相当,仅约为其母材抗拉屈服强度的36%;焊件疲劳破坏大多发生于焊缝位置,且具有明显的疲劳破坏特征。 展开更多
