In making the health policy where millions of popula...The HIV/AIDS epidemic has grown on an unprecedented scale since it was first recognized, and presently it is considered as a well known global public health crisis. In making the health policy where millions of populations are at risk, it is necessary to understand the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS. So, this study aimed at to investigate the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers. Data and necessary information were collected from one hundred villagers of Salmanpur from Comilla district, Bangladesh through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were used for univariate analysis, to carry out the description of the variables;and to justify the total score of knowledge about HIV/AIDS among the respondents, Cronbach’s alpha (α) was calculated. The results revealed that almost all the respondents (92.00%) were ever heard about HIV/AIDS and half of them (51.00%) were known it as a communicable disease. Majority of the respondents (62.00%) believed that it is caused by heterosexual relation as well as sex with HIV positive persons. However, a good number of respondents were found unaware about the major causes and preventive ways of AIDS. Less than half of the respondents (45.00%) had medium knowledge (α = 0.34 - 0.66) and only 36.00% had the enough knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The knowledge level is increasing with the increase of education level, and the respondents who involved in agricultural works are found the lowest knowledge level (47.00%) about HIV/AIDS. The villagers were known about HIV/AIDS but they do not have accurate information about the ways in which AIDS virus can or cannot be transmitted. Therefore, effective programs should be taken to increase the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers in Bangladesh.展开更多

We should tap the local resources,stimulate the internal motivation of the village,emphasize the villagers as the main body,leading the village development-oriented renovation planning and design. With regard to the construction of " endogenous development" system,this paper discusses it from five perspectives: ecology,economy,culture,space and society. And combined with the planning and design practice of Zengjia Village,Guangchang County,Fuzhou City,we carry out renovation planning and design of the village from six aspects( " personal in-home interview" for current situation investigation; village spatial control and development planning; guidance for the dominant and diversified development of industry; the actual space environment renovation suitable for the village; continuation of the traditional culture to enhance the village look; enhancement of the participation of villagers in the whole process). It is pointed out that village renovation should not only stay in the improvement of the material environment,but also place greater emphasis on guiding the subjective initiative of the villagers,stimulate the endogenous power of the village,strengthen and guide the villagers' self-governance,and promote the sustainable development of village construction.展开更多

On the basis of expounding connotation of "auspicious four seasons",the paper introduces related situations of spring peach blossom village,summer pomegranate blossom village,autumn osmanthus blossom village...On the basis of expounding connotation of "auspicious four seasons",the paper introduces related situations of spring peach blossom village,summer pomegranate blossom village,autumn osmanthus blossom village and winter plum blossom village,as well as major project and profit of "auspicious four seasons" new village tourism in Wuhan City.Development situations of "auspicious four seasons" new village tourism in Wuhan City are analyzed by using SWOT analysis.Among them,the strengths are analyzed from four aspects of geographical strengths,transportation superiority,rich natural resources and attached great importance by government,the weaknessses are illustrated from the five aspects of backward infrastructure construction,unsound governmental functions,needing improvement of service consciousness and service quality of villagers,shortage of publicity,insufficient input competence of tourism,the opportunities are analyzed from the two aspects of policy guarantee and tourism demand,the threats are analyzed from the two aspects of serious homogenization of tourism products and increasingly improved expected value of tourism products.Based on the analysis above,tourism marketing strategies of the new village-"auspicious four seasons" in Wuhan are put forward:First,strengthening publicity,it includes using network marketing strategies,enhancing traditional marketing publicity,strengthening festival tourism publicity and intensifying celebrity charm;Second,launching various new village tourism projects,it includes vigorously extending picking and exhibition tourism of fruits and vegetables,launching rural education tourism,launching flowers and plants cultural tourism and wedding celebration tourism,launching leisure tourism for old people and building learning base of new village construction;Third,exerting resource superiority of Han River water area,developing aquatic tourism projects,it mainly includes developing pleasure-boat of different types and grades,strengthening construction of waterfront accessible space and enhancing connection and cooperation with travel agencies.展开更多
