We defined two kinds of opposite relations and one kind of equivalence relation, introduced the concept of steady multilateral systems with two non-compatibility relations, and discussed its energy properties. Later based on the treatment of TCM and treated the healthy body as a steady multilateral system, it has been proved that the treatment principle is true. The kernel of this paper is the existence and reasoning of the non-compatibility relations in steady multilateral systems, and it accords with the oriental thinking model.展开更多

By using mathematical reasoning based on Yin Yang Wu Xing Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this paper demonstrates the treatment principle: “Searching for a root cause of disease in cure, treatment of both the root-cause and symptoms at the same time” (治病求本, 标本兼治). It means that for a human body, there is the mathematical structure of both Zangxiang and Jingluo as her/his second physiological system. It can be used to determine both the root-cause and symptoms of the sick organ by using both Zangxiang and Jingluo. In general, for the human blood pH value, the normal range of theory is [7.34539, 7.45461] nearly to [7.35, 7.45], and the center is 7.4. The first or second transfer law of a human body’s energies changes according to the different blood pH values whether in the normal range or not. Human disease treatment should protect and maintain the balance of two incompatibility relations: the loving relationship and the killing relationship. As an application, acupuncture is used to treat limb-girdle muscular dystrophy.展开更多

Traditional Chinese medicine(...Stroke is the leading cause of human disability with limited effective drugs availability. The disruption of multiple signaling pathways in stroke makes developing new drugs be difficult. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has its unique advantage in targeting multiple signaling pathways with multiple components. Many TCM formulas have the potential for neuroprotection and neurogenesis, but well-designed clinical trials are insufficient and underlying mechanisms unclear. Herein, we introduce the commonly used TCM formulas for stroke treatment and selectively introduce two classic formulas, An Gong Niu Huang(AGNH) pill and Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction(BYHWD) for neuroprotection and neurogenesis, respectively. Current scientific evidence and clinical trials indicate AGNH pill could be an effective neuroprotective formula as adjunct therapy with relative safety. On the other hand, as a representative TCM formula for post stroke disability, BYHWD could improve the neurological outcome with its neuroprotective and neurogenic effects. The underlying mechanisms could be attributed to the modulation of multiple molecular targets with its multiple components. In conclusion, TCM formulas could be potential adjunct therapies for stroke treatment. The clinical efficacies and molecular mechanisms of promoting neuroprotection and neurogenesis remain to be further studies.展开更多

文摘Drawing on our research in China’s southern mountains about ethnic medicines, and intrigued by the proverbial Chinese view that Yao Shi Tong Yuan(food and medicine have the same source),this article traces the eventfulness and powers at play in healing and eating when they are seen as closely related forms of life.Ancient and modern traditional Chinese medicine understandings of flavor are here shown to be a common basis for the healing and harming powers of both food and medicine. The term Wu Wei,or five flavors is explored as both experiences of eating and cooking, and some patterns of qi movement that animate and invigorate the body.Following Vivienne Lo’s term“potent flavors,”practices of harmonizing(He,Tiao He)flavors in Chinese medicine,as in cooking, express a world of natural powers and expert embodiment that goes far beyond mere taste.
文摘By using mathematical reasoning, this paper demonstrates the treatment principle: “Virtual disease is to fill his mother but real disease is to rush down his son” and “Strong inhibition of the same time, support the weak” based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The kernel of this paper is the existence and reasoning of the non-compatibility relations in steady multilateral systems, and it accords with the oriental thinking model.

By using mathematical reasoning based on Yin Yang Wu Xing Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this paper demonstrates the treatment principle: “seize the momentum of development, hasten </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">lucky</span> <span style="font-family:Verdana;">avoids</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> disaster” (</span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">顺势而为</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;" "="">, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">趋吉避凶</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""><span style="font-family:Verdana;">). Sixty </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">JiaZi</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> is hidden behind eight palaces. The first or second transfer law of human body energies of Sixty JiaZi changes according to the different blood pH values of a human body whether in the normal range or not, respectively, assuming that the range of blood pH values of a human </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">body</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> is divided into four parts from small to large. Both second and third are for a healthy human body. Both the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">root-cause</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> and symptoms come from the first transfer law of human body energies. And both first and fourth are for an unhealthy human body. Both the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">root-cause</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> and symptoms come from the second transfer law of human body energies. The treating disease of a human body should protect and maintain the balance of two incompatibility relations: the loving relationship and the killing relationship. As an application, acupuncture is used to treat atrial premature beats as congenital heart disease.</span></span>
文摘History of medicine is not addressed in medical schools in India,Nepal, and the Caribbean. The history of medicine in these areas include indigenous medical systems, the western medicine introduced by the colonial powers, and the medical systems developed after independence or overthrow of feudalism. In the meantime, less attention has been paid to teaching"history of medicine".There are several advantages in teaching the history of medicine to medical students.Courses on the history of medicine can be offered both face-to-face and online.

文摘Stroke is the leading cause of human disability with limited effective drugs availability. The clinical efficacies and molecular mechanisms of promoting neuroprotection and neurogenesis remain to be further studies.
文摘Traditional Japanese Medicine originated from traditional Chinese medicine and was first introduced to Japan directly from the mainland of China or the Korean Peninsula. After its dissemination, integration, adaption, and development in Japan for generations,it had evolved into Kampo medicine with Japanese characteristics and taken a leading role in Japanese medical practice. In history, there appeared successively schools such as Followers of Later Developments in Medicine,Followers of Classic Methods,Integrated School, and School of Textual Research.Alter Meiji Restoration,Kampo medicine experienced a tremendous impact by western medicine. However after World War II,with unremitting endeavors from learned scholars, traditional Japanese medicinje was revived again.
文摘In this paper, we conduct research on the landscape painting in Ming and Qing dynasties of the art of Wu School. The Wu School of art is full of creativity, they worship nature, between large vigorous refined landscape painting in the real world with fast red green courtyard, this spirit of the innovation to future generations of artists with great inspiration, Wu school opened up the artistic development for future generations, direct and profound infi uence after the landscape painting and flower and bird painting. Today, we are in the pursuit of the traditional Chinese painting of change, innovation, modernization, “Wu door school” this group of literati painter to do a historical retrospect that is a positive significance. Based on this historical time, we analyze the corresponding theories to provide the systematic research that will be meaningful.
