In order to reduce the hidden danger of noise which can be charactered by singularity spectrum, a new algorithm based on wavelet transform modulus maxima method was proposed. Singularity analysis is one of the most promising new approaches for extracting noise hidden information from noisy time series . Because of singularity strength is hard to calculate accurately, a wavelet transform modulus maxima method was used to get singularity spectrum. The singularity spectrum of white noise and aluminium interconnection electromigration noise was calculated and analyzed. The experimental results show that the new algorithm is more accurate than tradition estimating algorithm. The proposed method is feasible and efficient. 展开更多

A mixed scheme based on Wavelet Transformation (WT) is proposed for image edge detection. The scheme combines the wavelet transform and traditional Sobel and LoG (Laplacian of Gaussian) operator edge-detection algorithms. The precise theory analysis is given to show that the wavelet transformation has an advantage for signal processing. Simulation results show that the new scheme is better than only using the Sobel or LoG methods. Complexity analysis is also given and the conclusion is acceptable, therefore the proposed scheme is effective for edge detection. 展开更多

This paper studies Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images contaminated by the coherent speckle noise with the multiresolution analysis of wavelet transform. This study shows that the influences of the speckle on different frequency components of the SAR image are different, and that the SAR image and the speckle have different manners of singularity. So, this paper presents a denoising method of wavelet analysis to reduce the speckle. Some experiments approve that this method not only suppresses the speckle effectively, but also preserves as much target characteristics of the original image as possible. It shows that this denoising method of wavelet analysis offers a very attractive alternative to suppress the coherent speckle noise of the SAR image. 展开更多

The hydrological processes influenced by the multiple factors of climate, geography, vegetation, and human activities are becoming more and more complex, which is an important characteristic of hydrological systems. The different complexity distributions of precipitation processes of the Chien River Basin (a sub-basin of the Minjiang Basin) in two periods (from 1952 to 1980, and from 1981 to 2009) are illustrated using the fractal based on the continuous wavelet transform (CWT). The results show that (1) at the basin scale the precipitation process in the latter period is more complex than in the former period; (2) the maximum value of the complexity distribution moved from the east to the middle; and (3) through analysis of the time-information and space-information concealed in this complexity change, the precipitation characteristics in the changing environment in the basin can be illuminated. This study could provide a reference for research on disaster pre-warning in changing environments and for integrated water resources management in the local basin. 展开更多

为了提高架空线路和地下电缆组合输电线路发生故障时的定位精度,提出了一种基于离散小波变换(DWT)的输电线路故障定位新方法;通过DWT对输电线路单端测得的瞬态信号进行多分辨率分析(MRA),在低故障起始角情况下,利用线模电流和零模电流... 为了提高架空线路和地下电缆组合输电线路发生故障时的定位精度,提出了一种基于离散小波变换(DWT)的输电线路故障定位新方法;通过DWT对输电线路单端测得的瞬态信号进行多分辨率分析(MRA),在低故障起始角情况下,利用线模电流和零模电流检测故障,结合小波模量极大值(WMM)求解从故障点到变电站的行波到达时间,从而对输电线路故障进行精准定位;采用半正弦电压响应的方法克服了采样频率有限和故障起始角低的缺点,运用100 kHz半正弦信号的发送时间与接收导数信号的时间之差计算故障距离;在考虑谐波畸变和故障电阻、接地电阻、故障位置和起始角变化的情况下对所提方法进行测试,结果表明:对于100 km的输电线路,即使在故障靠近总线(<2%)且故障起始角较低的情况下,所提出的方法得到的故障定位误差仅为0.14 km。 展开更多

为了提升舰船红外图像处理效果,研究舰船红外图像处理中多通道DMA控制器改进设计方法。改进后多通道DMA控制器中仲裁器依据优先级轮询仲裁每个DMA通道,建立舰船红外图像读写传输通道;嵌入式Motion-JPEG2000编码器,通过建立的传输通道,... 为了提升舰船红外图像处理效果,研究舰船红外图像处理中多通道DMA控制器改进设计方法。改进后多通道DMA控制器中仲裁器依据优先级轮询仲裁每个DMA通道,建立舰船红外图像读写传输通道;嵌入式Motion-JPEG2000编码器,通过建立的传输通道,读入舰船红外图像,并利用结合小波变换与正交化分形编码的压缩算法,压缩编码图像,加快图像处理的传输效率。通过寄存器配置保存舰船红外图像处理时产生的配置信息;利用存储器端口向存储器端发送处理后的图像,通过外设端口负责向外设端发送处理后的图像。实验证明:该方法可有效压缩舰船红外图像;在不同目标比特率时,该方法压缩后图像的逼真度均较高;该方法改进后多通道DMA控制器的图像传输效率较快。 展开更多
