Research on the Training Mode of “the Combination of College Students’ Extracurricular English Autonomous Learning and Chinese Culture” Based on WeChat Platform

In today’s college English extracurricular learning,college students often neglect the combination of English language learning and the input of Chinese traditional cultural knowledge,paying too much attention to Western culture learning,ignoring their traditional culture and lead to be speechless when encountering cultural exchange activities.The author believes that college students should pay attention to the input of Chinese traditional cultural content in the process of independent English learning outside the classroom.The creative team of college students led by the author through the WeChat platform,in Xinjiang Agricultural University,conducted a combination of Chinese culture input and English autonomous learning,aiming at strengthening the effectiveness of English learning,improving the self-learning ability and intercultural communication skills.

基于WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课强化实践能力教学模式在外科教学中应用研究。方法 以60例实习生为例,将其分为两组对不同教学方式的价值分析,评估外科教学中WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课教学模式的价值。结果 两组患者研究对象成绩评分对比有差异,(P<0.05)。两组患者自我导向学习能力评分对比,带教后评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组学生自我学习效果评价评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组研究对象临床能力评分有差异,(P<0.05)。两组实习生对教学方式满意度,有差异,(P<0.05)。结论 外科教学中应用WeChat Public公众平台联合慕课教学模式能够有效的提高实习生的临床能力,学生的成绩更高,学生的自我学习能力更强,有推广的价值。

Research on English Teaching Strategies Based on WeChat Public Account

Nowadays, information dissemination is more extensive and rapid through social media. This has made the online worldmore advantageous, and brings media information in different styles to English teaching. Such teaching methods and modes havebrought different impacts on students' learning English. However, there has been a significant inconsistency between teaching andlearning. This article covers these issues and further analyses the English teaching methods under the WeChat public account.Through investigation, it had also been discussed the methods and strategies for English teaching under the WeChat public accountand how it has a great influence on the needs of college students for learning English at this stage.

Application Effect of WeChat Platform Continuity of Care Model Based on KAP Theory on Self-Management of Stroke Patients with Hypertension

Objective: To explore the impact of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on the KAP (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) theory on the self-management of stroke patients with hypertension after discharge from the hospital. Methods: 62 stroke patients with hypertension discharged from the rehabilitation department of a tertiary A hospital in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from October 2022 to April 2023 were sampled by convenience sampling method. Patients discharged from Rehabilitation I were included in the control group, and conventional nursing care was used;while patients discharged from Rehabilitation II were included in the observation group, and WeChat platform continuity of nursing care model based on the KAP theory was implemented. The intervention effect of the two groups was compared. Results: After 4 and 12 weeks of intervention, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention, the rate of medication adherence and the score of adherence to hypertension treatment in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of the WeChat platform continuity of care model based on KAP theory to stroke patients with hypertension can improve blood pressure, medication adherence rate, hypertension treatment adherence, and overall enhance the self-management level of these patients.

Application of Five-in-One Community Management Mode plus Wuhan’s Regional WeChat Platform in the Novel Coronavirus Control

In this study, the five-in-one community mass prevention and mass treatment group established in Wuhan to curb novel coronavirus outbreak in 2019 to 2020 is introduced. Various public health propaganda methods are used, including community loudspeakers and community bulletin boards. In the meantime, WeChat platform account named “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” is registered and opened, and a Group Chat on WeChat is created for grid management. A diversity of on-line and off-line countermeasures against the novel coronavirus outbreak are implemented via the WeChat platform: three-early measures (early discovery, early reporting, and early treatment), centralized management, community-based reporting, hierarchical diagnosis, and treatment system, isolation of mild patients at designated facilities, diagnosis and treatment appointment system for patients with fever, patient transferral in special vehicles, terminal disinfection at homes, psychological support and daily caring plan for special populations. This WeChat platform allows for an all-region, all-around, all-time and entire population-coverage control of novel coronavirus outbreak, with the extension and strengthening of health propaganda, guidance for seeking medical assistance, mass prevention and mass treatment, and health self-management among the community residents. Great effect has been achieved in novel coronavirus control so far. The five-in-one community management mode of Wuhan plus “Wuhan neighborhood on WeChat” plays an important role in relieving the shortage of health service resources and resolving the problem of limited service scope of professional medical staff in Wuhan, and ultimately contributes to the overall novel coronavirus control.

An Empirical Study of Legal English Translation Teaching Through Wechat-based Mobile Learning Platform

This paper illustrates the functions of smartphone-based teaching using the theory of constructivism,and puts forward anew learning strategy to replace traditional cram-teaching methods.We examines the new paradigm in the formation of translationcompetence within the legal discourse.It aims to promote the autonomous learning,monitor the students’participation,facilitatestudents’communication and provide well-structured materials to transform traditional classroom learning into mobile phonelearning,to maximize students’initiative and enthusiasm,as well as help students engage in,interpret,and negotiate the complexi-ties that surround them.The findings of this study have been summarized into a few generalizations for possible directions for trans-lation research and they provide a better understanding of Chinese students’translation competence within a legal English contextand contribute to the translation skill development.Series on existing research on translation competence development in classroomteaching contexts for empirical guidance,as an essential component of ESP curriculum based on authentic data and analyzedthrough online framework specifically designed for legal discourse.

Pharmaceutical WeChat Public Platform Based on PEST-SWOT Matrix Model:Current Status and Development Strategies

Objective To analyze of the status of pharmaceutical WeChat public platforms,and to put forward some suggestions for its future development.Methods PEST-SWOT matrix model for the pharmaceutical WeChat public platforms was constructed to sort out the strength,weakness,opportunities and threats of the platforms compared with the traditional health information communication media.Results and Conclusion Pharmaceutical WeChat public platform has such features as strong flexibility,high industrial sensitivity and wide communication resources.However,it has also the disadvantages of too general content and homogenization,unclearly positioning and single feedback path.From the perspective of SO,ST,WO and WT,the development strategy of pharmaceutical WeChat public platform is to offer accurate information with the big data to create new way of media thinking,to define its own positioning so as to provide vertical service,and to enhance its professionalism.

Fashion Shopping Value in WeChat Moments

Fashion shopping in WeChat(微信)Moments(朋友圈)has become an important new channel because of the rapid development and broad application of the smart phone technology.The purpose of the paper is to test a model dealing with direct effects of shopping values on purchase intention.The research model was tested using smart phone in a survey of 276 respondents.The results as follows:First,higher shopping value perceived consumers have more purchase intention of fashion products in WeChat.Second,utilitarian shopping value play more positive impact on purchase intention than hedonic shopping value.Additional managerial implications are discussed.

Effects of WeChat platform-based health management on health and self-management effectiveness of patients with severe chronic heart failure

BACKGROUND Epidemiological studies have found that the prevalence of chronic heart failure in China is 0.9%,the number of people affected is more than 4 million,and the 5-year survival rate is even lower than that of malignant tumors.AIM To determine the impact of WeChat platform-based health management on severe chronic heart failure patients’health and self-management efficacy.METHODS A total of 120 patients suffering from chronic heart failure with cardiac function grade III-IV,under the classification of the New York Heart Association,were admitted to our hospital in May 2017.In January 2020,they were divided into two groups:A control group(with routine nursing intervention)and an observation group(with WeChat platform-based health management intervention).Changes in cardiac function,6-min walking distance(6MWD),high-sensitivity cardiac troponin(hs-cTnT),and N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)were detected in both groups.The Self-Care Ability Scale(ESCA)score,Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire score,and compliance score were used to evaluate self-management ability,quality of life,and compliance of the two groups.During a follow-up period of 12 mo,the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events in both the groups was counted.RESULTS The left ventricular ejection fraction,stroke output,and 6MWD increased,and the hs-cTnT and NT-proBNP decreased in both the groups,as compared to those before the intervention.Further,cardiac function during the 6MWD,hs-cTnT,and NT-proBNP improved significantly in the observation group after intervention(P<0.05).The scores of self-care responsibility,self-concept,self-care skills,and selfcare health knowledge in the observation group were higher than those of the control group before intervention,and their ESCA scores were significantly improved after intervention(P<0.05).The Minnesota heart failure quality of life(LiHFe)scores of physical restriction,disease symptoms,psychological emotion,social relations,and other items were decreased compared to those of the control group before intervention,and the LiHFe scores of the observation group were significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).With intervention,the compliance scores of rational diet,regular medication,healthy behavior,and timely reexamination were increased,thereby leading to the compliance scores of the observation group being significantly improved compared to those of the control group(P<0.05).During the 12 mo follow-up,the incidence rates of acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic rehospitalization in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION WeChat platform-based health management can improve the self-care ability and compliance of patients with severe chronic heart failure,improve the cardiac function and related indexes,reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular adverse events,and enable the avoidance of rehospitalization.

Designing Higher Vocational College English Blended Learning Mode based on Wechat Platform

As a platform bridging classroom teaching and online teaching for higher vocational college(HVC)English,WeChat expands the dimension of HVC English teaching.This paper first introduces basic functions and characteristics of WeChat,then analyzes problems existing in current HVC English teaching and finally puts forward specific ways to design HVC English blended learning mode based on WeChat platform in four steps:warming-up,text analysis,exercises and post-course expansion.

基于WeChat平台的SPOC翻转课堂在临床药理学教学中的应用

目的探讨基于微信(WeChat)平台的小规模限制性在线课程(SPOC)翻转课堂在“临床药理学”教学中的应用。方法以武汉大学第一临床学院临床医学专业同一年级选修该课程的本科生为研究对象,分为采用传统教学方法的对照组和采用基于WeChat平台的SPOC翻转课堂教学方法的实验组。结果实验组学生的理论考试总成绩为(83.39±9.17)分,显著高于对照组的(76.91±9.70)分(P<0.05)。其中对于分值为40分的简答与病例分析,实验组学生得分(31.61±3.69)高于对照组的得分(26.68±5.15)(P<0.001)。结论将基于WeChat平台的SPOC翻转课堂应用于“临床药理学”本科教学可以提高学生的成绩,特别是能提升医学生运用所学理论知识分析、解决实际问题的能力。

Evaluating Third-Person Effects Among Foreigners on China’s Social Media:Wechat and Tantan as Case Study

The social media have become part of the daily lives of foreigners living in China as they try to cope with social cultural dynamics of their environment. They rely on social media to keep in touch with loved ones, make new friends, and keep in touch with news and information around the world. To many of them, the social media are a necessary tool in managing boredom. However, the use of the social media comes with the challenge of third-person effect (TPE), a hypothesis which holds that individuals believe media have more effects on others than they have on themselves. Using two of the leading social media apps in China, Wechat and Tantan, by using a survey approach, we investigated the manifestation of TPE among foreigners in China who are members of the selected social media communities. Our results confirm TPE among our study group. It also shows that those under the influence of TPE have the potential for social media addiction. We advise that social media users are conscious of TPE in view of its negative effects on their well-being.

Thoughts on the Development of Meteorological Wechat Public Platform

As a modern communication software, Wechat is favored by many young people due to its fast spreading, large influence and numerous customers. In the process, the establishment of meteorological Wechat public platform could play the effects of disaster prevention and mitigation and improving service capacity without changing the advantages of Wechat. In view of this, by analyzing Wetchat and its public platform, main functions of meteorological Wechat public platform are expounded, and development prospects of the public platform are cleared from multiple perspectives.
