In this thesis, we describe the necessary capabilities for database management systems and compare them with the limitation of RDB. And also we introduce object database and its efficiency, which will be the new trend of the database. We use “Jasmine2000” as a concrete example of object database in business use, and are going to verify its efficiency with its applied cases.
