The Agile methods have become the norm in the software development industry to defeat the shortcomings of the Waterfall model(McGregor&Doshi,2018).It promotes an empirical and iterative way of working that empower...The Agile methods have become the norm in the software development industry to defeat the shortcomings of the Waterfall model(McGregor&Doshi,2018).It promotes an empirical and iterative way of working that empowers the teams to be more self-organized and work closer to their users.As worldwide companies are more and more experienced in using Agile,studies show that the most prevalent advantages generated by this way of working are:increased productivity,improved customer collaboration,better predictability,fewer technical errors,and higher team motivation(Version One,2019).The author’s comprehensive studies about the Agile way of working helped her identify a list of essential practices that teams should apply to reach each one of the mentioned benefits.While Agile is more widespread in specific places in the world,there are still counties that are not that mature in applying it.The purpose of this paper is to present the level of adoption of the most common Agile practices in Romania and their potential benefits.The study focuses on the software development industry,and it is based on the results of a survey with 200 respondents coming from different IT companies.展开更多
