Objectives of the research to present a modern theory of water purification for multiple purposes entitled “a novelties filtration theory of liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry” is an exceedingly sensitive and specific analytical technique in volume layers woven fabrics that can precisely determine the identities and quantities of compounds within volume Nanotube of cotton filament of layers woven fabrics. The problems are that the filters in the local and international markets have increased complications in configuration, installation and cost without reaching the efficiency that humanity hopes. Throw materials and methods the chromatography-mass spectrometry in layers woven fabrics, and throw the nanotube of cotton filament for purification of water dyes and smells. Industry, in which mass spectrometry is a convenient, versatile method for characterization and identification of process throw the Nanotube of cotton filament for purification of water dyes and smells. Results came up with a theme “innovations in textiles”, and also, for characterization of fibers and contaminants of the fabrics. Additive manufacturing in layers woven fabrics, are the processes used to synthesize a volume object under computer control with successive material layers that have been used and highlighted. The conclusions has included chromatography-mass spectrometry drop, physico-chemical, biological, combined physical-biological and chemical-biological treatment processes recently being developed to meet Jet-filtration, the strict discharging limits set by ASTM standards. With the wide use of three-dimensional woven spacer composites(3DWSCs),the market expects greater mechanical properties from this material.By changing the weft fastening method of the traditional I-shape pile yarns,we designed three-dimensional woven spacer fabrics(3DWSFs)and 3DWSCs with the weft V-shape to improve the compression performance of traditional 3DWSFs.The effects of weft binding structures,V-pile densities, and V-shaped angle were investigated in this paper. It is found that the compression resistance of 3DWSFs with the weft V-shape is improved compared to that with the weft I-shape,the fabric height recovery rate is as high as 95.7%,and the average elastic recovery rate is 59.39%.When the interlayer pile yarn density is the same, the weft V-shaped and weft I-shaped 3DWSCs have similar flatwise pressure and edgewise pressure performance. The compression properties of the composite improve as the density of the V-pile yarns increases. The flatwise compression load decreases as the V-shaped angle decreases. When the V-shaped angle is 28°and 42°,the latitudinal V-shaped 3DWSCs perform exceptionally well in terms of anti-compression cushioning. The V-shaped weft binding method offers a novel approach to structural design of 3DWSCs. 展开更多

The outbreak of coronavirus has led to an increase in the demand for facemasks globally. Unavailability of appropriate polypropylene non-woven fabrics face masks as a result of inadequate supply to satisfy the growing population has brought about the manufacturing of locally fabrics masks to augment or substitute standard medical class facemasks. The study aims at analyzing airflow of these locally manufactured fabrics to determine possible means of transmitting the virus as well as establish comfort of the user of these masks. Standard polypropylene non-woven, woven and knitted fabrics were considered for the study. Air permeability test was conducted on these fabrics using Frazier Air permeability tester. Depending on the property significant variation in the textile fabrics, polypropylene non-woven is widely accepted for facial masks. Nevertheless, this study illustrates that woven and knitted fabrics have more open structures, which allow a high rate of air penetration and so may require two or three layers to prevent antimicrobial or antiviral potential. 展开更多

In this study, jute woven fabrics (1 × 1 plain, twill, zigzag and diamond weave) were manufactured from 100% raw jute yarn. The fabric specimens were treated by 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% unsaturated polyester resin where styrene monomer used as a solvent and 1% methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) was used as initiator. Two bar pressure was applied for complete wetting of the fabric by a Padder and curing was done at 130?C for 10 minutes. The physico-mechanical characteristics of untreated and treated samples were examined and evaluated. It was revealed that moisture content (MC) and water absorbency of the treated specimens were decreased with the increase of resin percentage (%) in the fabrics. MC and water absorbency were maximum decreased up to 50.23% and 60.14% respectively by 25% resin treatment. On the other hand, bending length (BL), flexural rigidity (FR), flexural modulus (FM) and tensile strength (TS) were enhanced with the increase of resin percentage in the fabrics which resulted higher fabric stiffness. The maximum improvement of BL, FR, FM and TS were found to be 6.67%, 56.04%, 10.57% and 18.75% respectively in comparison to untreated sample. Soil degradation tests exhibited that 33.59% TS loss occurred for untreated specimens where only 8.04% loss of TS found for 25% resin treated one. Furthermore, jute based twill, zigzag and diamond fabrics were also treated by 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% resin, then measured their TS and compared with plain fabrics. It was revealed that plain fabrics have superior TS over other fabrics. It was also evident that TS enhanced for all the fabrics after resin treatment and maximum increase found for all the fabrics up to 25% resin treatment. 展开更多

In the dry-sliding process of the woven self-lubricating liner which is used in the self-lubricating spherical plain bearing, the friction heat plays an important role in the tribological performances of the liner. It has important value to study on the relationship between tribological performances of the liner and the friction heat. Unforttmately, up to now, published work on this relationship is quite scarce. Therefore, the effect of friction heat on the tribological performances of the liner was investigated in the present work. The tribological behaviors of the liner were evaluated by using the high temperature end surface wear tester. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was utilized to examine the morphologies of worn surfaces of the liner and study the failure modes. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis were performed to study the behaviors of the wear debris. The temperature rise on the worn surface was calculated according to classical models. SEM observation shows that the dominating wear mechanism for the liner is mainly affected by friction shear force, contact pressure and friction heat. Higher fusion heat for the wear debris than that for the pure polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) indicates that the PTFE is the main portion of the wear debris, and, the PTFE in the wear debris shows a higher crystallisation degree owing to the effects of friction shear force and the friction heat. Combining the calculated temperature rise results with the wear rate of the liner, it can be concluded that the effects of temperature rise o n the tribological performances of the liner become more obvious when the temperature rise exceeds the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the PTFE. The wear resistance of the liner deteriorates dramatically when the temperature rise approaches to the melting point (Ton) of the PTFE. The tribological performances of the liner can be improved when the temperature rise exceeds Tg but is far lower than Ton- The present study on the relationship between the temperature rise and the tribological performances of the liner may provide the basis for further understanding of the wear mechanisms of the liner as well as the relationship between the formation of the PTFE transfer film and the friction heat during the dry-sliding of the Finer. 展开更多

The warp yarns and weft yarns of plain woven fabric which, being the principal axes of material of fabric, are orthogonal in the original configuration, but are obliquely crossed in the deformed configuration in general. The orthotropic constitutive model is unsuitable for fabric. In the oblique principal axes system the relations between loaded stress vectors and stress tensor are investigated, the stress fields of micro-weaving structures of fabric due to pure shear are carefully studied and, finally,a nonlinear micro-mechanical model for plain woven fabric is proposed. This model can accurately describe the nonlinear mechanical behavior of fabric observed m experimeuts.Under the assumption of small deformation and linearity of mechanical properties of fabric the model will degenerate into the existing linear model. 展开更多

Two kinds of 2.5D deep straight-joint structure ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)(twisted and original) fibers woven fabric reinforced epoxy resin composites were prepared by the hand lay-up method. Subsequently, the flexural property, microstructures, and failure mechanisms of the composites were also investigated. The average flexural strength of 2.5D deep bend-joint structure twisted fiber and original fiber woven fabric composites were 176.66 MPa and 204.45 MPa, respectively. The results of the characteristics indicated that the twist was the main factor which affected the flexural performance. Flexural property vitally relied on the strength of the fiber itself. Twist decreased the strength of the yarns, which meant that when the mechanical property of woven fabric reinforced composites was improved, the yarns must be kept straight in the woven fabric. The study are extremely valuable to guide the improvement of the mechanical property of the woven fabric reinforced composites. 展开更多

Warp yarns and weft yarns of plain woven fabric are the principal axes of mate- rial of fabric. They are orthogonal in their original con?guration, but are obliquely crisscross in deformed con?guration in general. In this paper the expressions of incremental components of strain tensor are derived, the non-linear model of woven fabric is linearized physically and its geometric non-linearity survives. The convenience of determining the total deformation is shown by the choice of the coordinate system of the principal axes of the material, with the convergence of the incremental methods illustrated by examples. This incremental model furnishes a basis for numerical simulations of fabric draping and wrinkling based on the micro-mechanical model of fabric. 展开更多

The buckling of a fabric sheet subjected to a uniaxial tension in a direction making arbitrary angle, theta (0degrees < theta < 90degrees) say, with respect to that of warp is investigated. The equation to determine the buckling direction angle, beta say, was obtained and, as illustration, the solution curves of the equation for theta = 45degrees and theta = 30degrees were plotted. It is shown that when the fabric sheet is subjected to tension in non-warp/non-weft direction the out-of-plane buckling of fabric is possible, two buckling modes (flexural and extensional modes) and the both corresponding buckling conditions are obtained. The results given by ZHANG and FU (2001) are the special cases of this paper. 展开更多

Triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)converts mechanical energy into valuable electrical energy, offering a solution for future energy needs. As an indispensable part of TENG,textile TENG(T-TENG)has incredible advantages in harvesting biomechanical energy and physiological signal monitoring. However, the application of T-TENG is restricted, partly because the fabric structure parameter and structure on T-TENG performance have not been fully exploited. This study comprehensively investigates the effect of weaving structure on fabric TENGs(F-TENGs)for direct-weaving yarn TENGs and post-coating fabric TENGs.For direct-weaving F-TENGs,a single-yarn TENG(Y-TENG)with a core-sheath structure is fabricated using conductive yarn as the core layer yarn and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)filaments as the sheath yarn.Twelve fabrics with five different sets of parameters were designed and investigated. For post-coating F-TENGs,fabrics with weaving structures of plain, twill, satin, and reinforced twill were fabricated and coated with conductive silver paint.Overall, the twill F-TENGs have the best electrical outputs, followed by the satin F-TENGs and plain weave F-TENGs.Besides,the increase of the Y-TENG gap spacing was demonstrated to improve the electrical output performance.Moreover,T-TENGs are demonstrated for human-computer interaction and self-powered real-time monitoring. This systematic work provides guidance for the future T-TENG’s design. 展开更多

The thermal conductivity of epoxy resin can be increased by a factor of eight to ten by loading with highly conductive particles. However, higher loadings increase the viscosity of the resin and hamper its use for liquid composite molding processes. Thus, the enhancement of the out-of-plane thermal conductivity of carbon composites manufactured by VARTM and accomplished by matrix filling is limited to about 250%. In order to derive higher increases in out-of-plane thermal conductivity, additional measures have to be taken. These consist of introducing thermally conductive fibers in out-of-plane direction of the preform using a 3D-weaving process. Measured out-of-plane thermal conductivities of 3D-woven fabric composites are significantly increased compared to a typical laminated composite. It has been shown that if introducing highly conductive z-fibers, the use of a particle filled resin is not necessary and furthermore should be avoided due to the manufacturing problems mentioned above. An existing analytical model was altered to predict the effective thermal conductivity as a function of the composite material properties such as the thermal conductivities and volume contents of fibers in in-plane and out-of-plane directions, the thermal conductivity of the loaded resin, the grid-density of the out- of-plane fibers, and material properties of the contacting material. The predicted results are compared with measured data of manufactured samples. 展开更多

Structural capacitors are composite structures that function as energy storage capacitors. An electric double-layer capacitor with a composite structure using a solid polymer electrolyte matrix with a glass fiber fabric separator has recently been developed. In the present study, new foam core sandwich structure is adopted and the effect of the degree of cure is experimentally investigated. Carbon fiber fabric cloth is used as electrodes, and the polystyrene foam core is used as separator. Material system of Poly Ethylene Glycol DiGlycidyl Ether (PEGDGE) with Lithium bisTriFluoromethane Sulfonyl Imide (LiTFSI) and hardener of TriEthylene TetrAmine (TETA) is adopted as ion-conductive polymer matrix. The effect of the cure degree is experimentally investigated by using 100% cure degree, 70% cure degree and 0% cure degree specimens. As a result, the polystyrene foam-core sandwich system is proved to be effective, but the capacitance is not enough because of the lack of surface area of the carbon fiber electrodes. As the remained TETA impedes the movement of Li+ cation in the solid polymer by means of the segment-motion-assisted diffusion process, the low degree of cure causes small capacitance with this material system. 展开更多
