This study analyzes the current situation and challenges of Nantong University amid the rapid development of higher education,addressing aspects such as faculty structure,administrative management efficiency,and promo...This study analyzes the current situation and challenges of Nantong University amid the rapid development of higher education,addressing aspects such as faculty structure,administrative management efficiency,and promotion mechanisms.Through questionnaire surveys and field research,coupled with SWOT analysis and various theoretical methods,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on Nantong University’s internal and external environment.The study proposes an improved comprehensive development strategy and implementation measures,which include updating management concepts,strengthening professional training,optimizing employment conditions,and improving salary systems.Ultimately,this study provides practical strategies for human resource management and the transformational development of Nantong University and other local comprehensive universities.展开更多

The length of this cDNA is 778 bp. We obt...According to the large-scale sequencing of cDNA library from silkworm pupae, the cDNA of a novel gene with blank research background was identified and temporarily named Bm-X. The length of this cDNA is 778 bp. We obtained its ORF for further study by bioinformatics analysis. It is 444 bp and encodes 147 amino acid residues, with a predicted molecular weight (MW) of 16.4 kD and an isoelectric point (pI) of 3.69. In this study, we successfully constructed a recombinant plasmid pET-28a(+)-Bm-X and expressed it in Escherichia coli. We used the fusion protein rBm-X which purified by Niaffinity chromatography to produce polyclonal antibodies against Bm-X for Western blot analysis. The analysis revealed that Bm-X was expressed in the larval midgut, the epidermis and the silk gland. In addition, the subcellular localization analysis of silkworm ovary epithelial cells (BmN cells) showed that Bm-X protein was located both in cytoplasm and nucleus, and the signal was stronger in cytoplasm than in nucleus. Our findings indicate that Bm-X gene is a novel species-specificity gene and its expression product can be detected in tissues of the fifth silkworm instar larvae and BmN cells.展开更多
The regulation of mRNA localization and local translation play vital roles in the maintenance of cellular structure and function.Many human neurodegenerative diseases,such as fragile X syndrome,amyotrophic lateral scl...The regulation of mRNA localization and local translation play vital roles in the maintenance of cellular structure and function.Many human neurodegenerative diseases,such as fragile X syndrome,amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,Alzheimer’s disease,and spinal muscular atrophy,have been characterized by pathological changes in neuronal axons,including abnormal mRNA translation,the loss of protein expression,or abnormal axon transport.Moreover,the same protein and mRNA molecules have been associated with variable functions in different diseases due to differences in their interaction networks.In this review,we briefly examine fragile X syndrome,amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,Alzheimer’s disease,and spinal muscular atrophy,with a focus on disease pathogenesis with regard to local mRNA translation and axon transport,suggesting possible treatment directions.展开更多

Radio network access technology currently used in 4G/5G is Long Term Evolution-Advanced(LTE-A),which was developed by 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP).Device-to-device(D2D)communication is a technology enablin...Radio network access technology currently used in 4G/5G is Long Term Evolution-Advanced(LTE-A),which was developed by 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP).Device-to-device(D2D)communication is a technology enabling direct communications among wireless devices without forwarding through an evolved Node B(eNB).Moreover,D2D transmission can support vehicles as a vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V)environment.It is possible to avoid accidents via exchanging movement-related information among vehicles and effectively increase driving safety(and efficiency).However,radio resources are limited in radio networks.A vehicle transmits through D2D in Long Term Evolution-Vehicle(LTE-V)mode-3 standard,and an eNB can allocate the same spectrum radio resources for cellular and V2V links simultaneously.When using the same radio resources,the probability of interference may increase.This study designed a semipersistent resource allocation algorithm based on different cycles in an LTE-V network.Moreover,resource allocation under different cycles was analyzed,and a scheme for resource selection is proposed based on cycle size.The proposed Semi Persistent Gain Aware Resource Allocation(SP-GARA)scheme selects resources based on the expected sum rate of the cycle size and analyzes and discusses the results of the total sum rate at different cycles and speeds for an improved performance.展开更多
