Major elements (O, Si,Al, Fe, Ca, Mg, Ti, etc.) of the lunar sample are similar to that of the Jilin meteorite and the Allende meteorite. The valence of iron in the sample has also been studied in detail. The authors suggest that Fe^++ may be differentiated from Fe^+++ in the XPS spectra in terms of the satellite lines of Fe(2p3/2).展开更多
