BACKGROUND Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS)is a pivotal intervention for managing esophagogastric variceal bleeding in patients with chronic hepatic schistosomiasis.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of digital subtraction angiography image overlay tech-nology(DIT)in guiding the TIPS procedure.METHODS We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients who underwent TIPS at our hospital,comparing outcomes between an ultrasound-guided group and a DIT-guided group.Our analysis focused on the duration of the portosystemic shunt puncture,the number of punctures needed,the total surgical time,and various clinical indicators related to the surgery.RESULTS The study included 52 patients with esophagogastric varices due to chronic hepatic schistosomiasis.Results demonstrated that the DIT-guided group expe-rienced significantly shorter puncture times(P<0.001)and surgical durations(P=0.022)compared to the ultrasound-guided group.Additionally,postoperative assessments showed significant reductions in aspartate aminotransferase,B-type natriuretic peptide,and portal vein pressure in both groups.Notably,the DIT-guided group also showed significant reductions in total bilirubin(P=0.001)and alanine aminotransferase(P=0.023).CONCLUSION The use of DIT for guiding TIPS procedures highlights its potential to enhance procedural efficiency and reduce surgical times in the treatment of esophagogastric variceal bleeding in patients with chronic hepatic schistoso-miasis. 展开更多

Anisotropy of Trabecular Bone from Ultra-Distal Radius Digital X-Ray Imaging: Effects on Bone Mineral Density and Age

Background: When applied to trabecular bone X-ray images, the anisotropic properties of trabeculae located at ultra-distal radius were investigated by using the trabecular bone scores (TBS) calculated along directions parallel and perpendicular to the forearm. Methodology: Data from more than two hundred subjects were studied retrospectively. A DXA (GE Lunar Prodigy) scan of the forearm was performed on each subject to measure the bone mineral density (BMD) value at the location of ultra-distal radius, and an X-ray digital image of the same forearm was taken on the same day. The values of trabecular bone score along the direction perpendicular to the forearm, TBS<sub>x</sub>, and along the direction parallel to the forearm, TBS<sub>y</sub>, were calculated respectively. The statistics of TBS<sub>x</sub> and TBS<sub>y</sub> were calculated, and the anisotropy of the trabecular bone, which was defined as the ratio of TBS<sub>y</sub> to TBS<sub>x</sub> and changed with subjects’ BMD and age, was reported and analyzed. Results: The results show that the correlation coefficient between TBS<sub>x</sub> and TBS<sub>y</sub> was 0.72 (p BMD and age was reported. The results showed that decreased trabecular bone anisotropy was associated with deceased BMD and increased age in the subject group. Conclusions: This study shows that decreased trabecular bone anisotropy was associated with decreased BMD and increased age. 展开更多

Three-dimensional(3D)printing technology is increasingly used in experimental research of geotechnical engineering.Compared to other materials,3D layer-by-layer printing specimens are extremely similar to the inherent properties of natural layered rock masses.In this paper,soft-hard interbedded rock masses with different dip angles were prepared based on 3D printing(3DP)sand core technology.Uniaxial compression creep tests were conducted to investigate its anisotropic creep behavior based on digital imaging correlation(DIC)technology.The results show that the anisotropic creep behavior of the 3DP soft-hard interbedded rock mass is mainly affected by the dip angles of the weak interlayer when the stress is at low levels.As the stress level increases,the effect of creep stress on its creep anisotropy increases significantly,and the dip angle is no longer the main factor.The minimum value of the long-term strength and creep failure strength always appears in the weak interlayer within 30°–60°,which explains why the failure of the layered rock mass is controlled by the weak interlayer and generally emerges at 45°.The tests results are verified by comparing with theoretical and other published studies.The feasibility of the 3DP soft-hard interbedded rock mass provides broad prospects and application values for 3DP technology in future experimental research. 展开更多

Background: When applied to trabecular bone X-ray images, a method for analyzing trabecular bone texture based on the initial slope of variogram (ISV) was used to assess the trabecular bone health. Methodology: Data from more than two hundred subjects were retrospectively studied. For each subject, a DXA (GE Lunar Prodigy) scan of the forearm was performed, and bone mineral density (BMD) value was measured at the location of ultra-distal radius, X-ray digital image of the same forearm was taken on the same day, and ISV value over the same location of ultra-distal radius was calculated. Pearson’s correlation coefficients were calculated to examine the correlation between BMD and ISV of the trabecular bones located at the same ultra-distal radius. ISV values changed with subjects’ age were also reported. Results: The results show that ISV value was highly correlated with the DXA-measured BMD of the same trabecular bone located at the ultra-distal radius. The correlation coefficient between ISV and BMD with the 95% confident was 0.79 ± 0.09. They also demonstrated that the age-related changes in trabecular bone health and differentiated age patterns in males and females, respectively. The results showed that the decrease in BMD was accompanied by a decrease in the initial slope of variogram (ISV). Conclusions: This study suggests that ISV might be used to quantitatively evaluate trabecular health for osteoporosis and bone disease diagnosis. 展开更多

Background:As mammography X-ray imaging technologies advance and provide elevated contrast in soft tissues,a need has developed for reliable imaging phantoms for use in system design and component calibration.In advanced imaging modalities such as refraction-based methods,it is critical that developed phantoms capture the biological details seen in clinical precancerous and cancerous cases while minimizing artifacts that may be caused due to phantom production.This work presents the fabrication of a breast tissue imaging phantom from cadaveric breast tissue suitable for use in both transmission and refraction-enhanced imaging systems.Methods:Human cancer cell tumors were grown orthotopically in nude athymic mice and implanted into the fixed tissue while maintaining the native tumor/adipose tissue interface.Results:The resulting human–murine tissue hybrid phantom was mounted on a clear acrylic housing for absorption and refraction X-ray imaging.Digital breast tomosynthesis was also performed.Conclusion:Both attenuation-based imaging and refraction-based imaging of the phantom are presented to confirm the suitability of this phantom's use in both imaging modalities. 展开更多

In this paper,the occurrence and development mechanism of strain on the cross-section during the wood drying is explored.Therefore,strain regularity on the cross-section of 50 mm thickness elm(Ulmus rubra)board at the temperature of 40℃and 80℃is detected via digital image correlation technology.Hence,the difference between tangential and radial strain at surface and core layers was denoted.The results showed that strain distribution in the width direction of the board is uneven.Moreover,a large drying shrinkage strain occurs at the near-core layer,while the maximum strain difference reaches 4.08%.Hence,the surface of the board is cracked along the thickness direction.The radial strain of the board is higher than the tangential strain in the early stage of drying,while these strains are reversed in the later stage of drying.The temperature is related to the difference between the tangential and radial strains of the elm board.These differences at the core layer are larger than those of the surface layer.The conducted research results provide a theoretical basis for process optimization. 展开更多

To achieve this target, digitalization of film is the first step and automatic defect identification is another key technique. In this paper, a weld X-ray film digitalizing system has been established with linear array CCD and highlight LED light source. Its space resolution can reach 0. 04 mm/pixel and scanning speed can reach 100 mm/s for an industrial film. The transfer function curves of the system have been measured and the results indicate that its image gray resolution can reach 88 G/D at 4. 5D, and its dynamic range can be wider than 2. OD. In order to facilitate the evaluation of large welded structure, a panoramic evaluation algorithm is developed also. The algorithm includes image matching, image fusion and panoramic evaluation of the long linked film image. 展开更多

The underwater X-ray imaging technology development is significant to subaqueous target reconnaissance/detection/identification, subfluvial archaeology,submerged resource exploration, etc. As the core of X-ray imaging detection, the scintillator has been plagued by inherent moisture absorption and decomposition, and strict requirements for seamless packaging and waterproofing.Here, we designed a manganese-doped two-dimensional(2D) perovskite scintillator modified by hydrophobic longchain organic amine through the combination of component and doping engineering. The modified perovskites show high water repellency that can be used as an underwater X-ray scintillator. X-ray images of aquatic organisms or other objects with a high spatial resolution of10 lp·mm^(-1) at a big view field(32 mm × 32 mm) were obtained by scintillation screen. This hydrophobic perovskite scintillator based on molecular design is of great promise in underwater X-ray nondestructive testing technology development. 展开更多

为探究定向断裂控制爆破下层理页岩的爆破致裂机理,采用切缝药包,对四种切缝角度下的页岩立方体试件进行爆破试验,采用数字图像相关技术(DIC)对页岩试件表面应变场的演化过程进行监测,分析了微裂纹孕育至宏观裂纹贯通的内在机理,并基于... 为探究定向断裂控制爆破下层理页岩的爆破致裂机理,采用切缝药包,对四种切缝角度下的页岩立方体试件进行爆破试验,采用数字图像相关技术(DIC)对页岩试件表面应变场的演化过程进行监测,分析了微裂纹孕育至宏观裂纹贯通的内在机理,并基于盒维数理论计算了不同切缝角度下页岩试件表面裂纹的分形维数,采用Matlab软件对爆后块度的筛分方法进行了编程分析,开发了全自动的粒径分析程序,实现了粒径圈定的可视化。试验结果表明:试件在不同比例爆距内的裂纹总密度与比例爆距之间存在负相关的幂函数关系,切缝方向与层理弱面的夹角对微观损伤区域出现的位置影响显著,当层理弱面与切缝方向平行时,损伤区域多集中于层理弱面处,对宏观裂纹的扩展路径影响显著,易于形成单一裂纹;层理弱面处的能量泄漏是造成页岩爆破破碎效果较差的重要因素,当切缝方向与层理弱面一致时,试件爆后的大块占比较高,爆后块度的分形维数平均值在各组间最低,仅为0.7843,而当切缝方向与层理面垂直时,试件的爆后块度分布较为均匀,爆后块度的分形维数平均值达到了2.5233,爆破破碎效果相对较好。 展开更多

目的:评估智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系管理模式在大型医用影像设备管理中的应用效果。方法:依据医用影像设备组成形态和运行情况,将智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系架构于一体,发挥联合管理机制作用对大型医用影像设备进行... 目的:评估智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系管理模式在大型医用影像设备管理中的应用效果。方法:依据医用影像设备组成形态和运行情况,将智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系架构于一体,发挥联合管理机制作用对大型医用影像设备进行管理。选取2022年至2023年武汉市第一医院临床在用的26台医用影像设备,按照设备管理方法不同分别采用常规管理方法(13台)和智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系模式(简称智能模式)进行管理(13台)。对比两种管理方法的医用影像设备临床使用效果、管理质量、管理水平和参与使用管理人员的认可度评分。结果:采用智能模式管理的设备平均开机率、运转率和周转率分别为(90.56±4.69)%、(12.36±2.45)%、(15.69±3.65)%,均高于常规管理方法,差异有统计学意义(t=13.366、15.637、9.082,P<0.05);采用智能模式管理的设备临床操作、信息数据、质量控制和维护维修平均评分分别为(93.65±4.21)、(94.65±4.36)、(95.36±6.56)和(94.26±5.63)分,亦均高于常规管理方法,差异有统计学意义(t=7.794、6.818、6.918、10.136,P<0.05);采用智能模式管理的设备合理放置率、规范记录率和设备完好率分别为76.92%(10/13)、84.61%(11/13)和84.61%(11/13),均高于常规管理方法,差异有统计学意义(x2=8.714、12.462、9.905,P<0.05);参与设备管理和使用的工程师、操作人员、医护人员和相关科室管理者对采用智能模式管理的设备管理认可度评分分别为(93.54±3.65)、(92.58±4.58)、(90.78±3.14)和(92.65±3.41)分,均高于常规管理方法,差异有统计学意义(t=3.333、4.142、6.424、7.278,P<0.05)。结论:智能数字化技术联合质量控制指标体系管理模式应用于大型医用影像设备管理,能够改善设备临床使用质量,提高设备技术保障能力,降低设备故障率。 展开更多

为提升数字印刷光栅图像清晰度,改善光栅图像条带畸变问题,该文采用SOPC技术,设计数字印刷光栅图像自动调整系统。系统以FPGA芯片为基础,利用SOPC技术实现数字印刷光栅图像采集、转换、调整等功能。采集数字印刷光栅图像,设计数字印刷... 为提升数字印刷光栅图像清晰度,改善光栅图像条带畸变问题,该文采用SOPC技术,设计数字印刷光栅图像自动调整系统。系统以FPGA芯片为基础,利用SOPC技术实现数字印刷光栅图像采集、转换、调整等功能。采集数字印刷光栅图像,设计数字印刷光栅图像自动调整流程,构建数字印刷光栅图像畸变调整数学模型,结合松弛因子确定图像畸变调整模型约束,构建拉格朗日最小化函数,通过拉格朗日乘子求解Wolfe对偶优化最值,利用误差扩散算法对数字印刷光栅图像进行加网处理,降低数字印刷光栅图像的整体误差,提升实现数字印刷光栅图像整体清晰度,实现数字印刷光栅图像自动调整系统设计。实验结果显示该系统能够有效解决数字印刷光栅图像条带畸变问题,将误差上限控制在0.75像素内;同时有效降低数字印刷光栅图像的拉式均方误差与交叉熵数值,提升数字印刷光栅图像整体清晰度。 展开更多

为研究工程水泥基复合材料(ECC,engineered cementitious composites)的疲劳规律并探究其损伤原因,利用疲劳试验机对ECC试件进行单轴拉伸循环加载试验,分析其疲劳规律及损伤界面微观形态。研究结果表明:ECC试件破坏规律与其累积轴向应... 为研究工程水泥基复合材料(ECC,engineered cementitious composites)的疲劳规律并探究其损伤原因,利用疲劳试验机对ECC试件进行单轴拉伸循环加载试验,分析其疲劳规律及损伤界面微观形态。研究结果表明:ECC试件破坏规律与其累积轴向应变速率有关,在加载初始阶段,累积轴向应变会随着循环荷载作用次数增加而明显增大,随后进入稳定变形阶段;进一步加载将导致累积轴向应变快速增长,并最终导致试件断裂破坏;ECC的裂纹宽度发展呈现出中间低、两端高的趋势;ECC试件在循环荷载过程中初次开裂后,不会迅速进入破坏阶段,是因为纤维仍然具有抗拉能力,可继续承受循环荷载加载;通过对纤维-基体界面的微观分析发现,纤维与基体结合较好,可整体耗散能量,为ECC具有高疲劳性能的主要原因。 展开更多
