[Method] Firstly, the evaluation index system for the coupling system of economic development and ecological environment in Xi'an City was established, then the dynamic variation of coupling relationship between economic development and ecological environment in Xi'an City from 2001 to 2010 was analyzed by using entropy method, finally some corresponding suggestions were put forward according to the problems in the current development model. [Result] The economic development and ecological environment of Xi'an have made a significant upgrading and improvement from 2001 to 2010, namely showing a stable upward trend on the whole, and were in a well-coordinated development state in 2010. However, the development level of ecological environment obviously lagged behind economic development level. In addition, there were obvious differences in the development rate of sub-systems, that is, economic efficiency and economic level developed rapidly, while the carrying capacity of ecological environment and economic vitality grew slowly and unstably. [Conclusion] The research could provide theoretical bases for the establishment of strategies for the coordinated development economy and environment in Xi'an City.展开更多

[Method] By dint of daily highest temperature in the Xi'an observatory, the climate characteristics of high temperature at different intensities and the high attitude circulation were studied by statistical method. [Result] Over the last 59 years, there were 22.95 high temperature days each year on average in Xi'an City, which occurred from the last ten days of April to the first ten days of September. Most high temperature days occurred in the last ten days of July, followed by that in the last ten days of June. There were two peak values in the last ten days of June and last ten days of July when temperature ≥38.0 ℃. For the hottest day, it occurred most in the last twenty days of June, followed by July, and rarely in August. The interannual changes in the high temperature day, hot day and hottest day showed one-little and one-much trend. It was much from 1950s to 1960s, from 1970s to 1980s and then grew more after 1990s. The annual extreme highest temperature took place in the last twenty days of June, and then in the last ten days of July. Its interannual changes showed high-low-high trend. The high temperature appeared most often in July and also lasted for the longest duration. The hot day lasted for two days. The hottest days of ≥40.0 ℃ were very rare. The circulation of high temperature generally fell into one of four categories: continental high pressure controlling type, subtropical high controlling type, strip high pressure controlling type and northwest airstream controlling type. [Conclusion] The study provided references for the forecast and pre-warning of high temperature.展开更多

In Saudi Arabia, breast cancer ranked the first among females in 2014, accounting for 15.9% of all cancers reported among Saudi nationals and 28.7% of all cancers reported among females of all ages. Early detection of breast cancer could decrease the risks, have a better prognosis, and have better outcomes/more successful treatments. Prevalence of breast cancer reached more than 25% of all diagnosed cancer in the kingdom among women. Aim: This study aims to assess the knowledge and performance of women attending primary care centers about breast self-examination and mammogram screening for prevention and early detection of breast cancer in Abha city primary healthcare centers, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Research Method: cross sectional design was conducted by using questionnaire, which was distributed to primary care center nurses. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, version 25. Results: The study found that participants had poor awareness and knowledge about breast self-examination, risk factors for breast cancer, and trends and practices in early diagnosis of breast cancer. Conclusion and Recommendations: It recommends increasing awareness campaigns and providing educational programs to improve knowledge and practices.展开更多

Nowadays, with the continuous spread and deepening ofurbanization, the ecological environment of river courses has been destroyed. In the past, remediationmeasures based on engineering and technology played a certain role, but can not “cure the root cause”. Itshould respect the historical evolution process of river courses, and highlight the ecological service functionand leisure tourism value of river courses from the coordination perspective of urban and rural ecologicalenvironment, economic industries, society and culture in the planning ideas of ecology, production, andlife integration. Four aspects of the measures are as below: protecting and repairing the ecological matrixof river courses;building green space system and maintaining flood control functions through the waternetwork;protecting cultural heritage along the rivers;developing waterfront leisure tourism scenic area.
文摘Hail is one of meteorological disasters affecting crop growth in Ulanqab City.It happens frequently from May to September, and this period is also the main growing season of crops. In this period, hail will cause damage to crops, make farmland soil harden, and bring varying degrees of harm to agricultural production.Artificial hail suppression is an important scientific and technological means for disaster prevention and mitigation. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring, analysis and forecast of severe convection weather, intensify the release of early warning information of hail weather, provide accurate and reliable real-time information for the implementation of artificial hail suppression operations, strengthen the implementation of artificial weather modification, effectively carry out artificial hail suppression operations, and avoid and reduce the impact of hail disaster.

文摘Promoting the coupling coordination development of port and its hinterland city environments is an important way to improve urban economic competitiveness.Based on relevant data of 13 coastal port cities in eastern China from 2000 to 2018,this study explores the coupling coordination development of port and city environments and its impact on urban economic competitiveness by constructing the coupling coordination degree model and the panel threshold model. The research results show that:(1)In terms of the coupling coordination development of port and city environments, most coastal ports and their hinterland cities are in a state of moderate or serious disorder.Overall, the degree of coupling coordination of port and city environments needs to be further improved;(2)The coupling coordination degree of port and city environments has a significant impact on urban economic competitiveness, and this effect gradually increases with the development of the ports and the urban economy.Among the variables that impact the urban economic competitiveness, fixed assets investment and foreign trade are significant factors that can enhance urban economic competitiveness.(3)At present, there is a“U-shaped”relationship between the coupling coordination degree of port-city environments and the urban economic competitiveness. This relationship lies on the right side of the inflection point of the“U-shaped”curve.Therefore,following the concept of assigning priority to ecological development, expanding fixed assets investment and actively developing foreign trade can further enhance the urban economic competitiveness.
文摘Based on the conventional observation data and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, the circulation situation, influencing systems and causes of the heavy rain during September 20-21,2010 in Ulanqab City were analyzed from the evolution process of weather circulation situation and the changes of various physical quantity fields. The results show that there was an obvious frontal zone between 45-52°N,which brought strong cold air.The transport of warm and humid air outside the subtropical high and typhoon was the main water vapor source of the strong precipitation, and the southwest jet at 700 hPa transported abundant water vapor. There was a broad inverted trough to the south of 45°N,with a central value of 1000.0 hPa.Ulanqab City was on the top of the inverted trough, stable and less moved, which was conducive to the occurrence of systematic heavy precipitation. The rainstorm was a strong precipitation process caused by the intersection of cold air brought by the southward movement of the upper frontal zone and warm and humid air outside the subtropical high. After the precipitation, the invasion of strong cold air brought frost and cold wave weather to Ulanqab City.

文摘As a key carrier supporting urban ecological health and living environment quality, urban ecological network is a key focus of current urban green space research.Jingzhou City of Hubei Province is taken as the research object.Relying on GIS technology platform,MSPA method is used to analyze the landscape pattern of Jingzhou City.On this basis, the landscape connectivity evaluation method is used to accurately identify and extract the source areas with important ecological value in Jingzhou City. Then, the normalization method and weighting method are combined to create a resistance factor evaluation system to construct the resistance surface.Based on the MCR model, the ecological network of Jingzhou City is successfully constructed, and targeted spatial optimization strategies and development suggestions are proposed.
