In addition, tyrosine hydroxylase mRNA expression in the substantia nigra of the midbrain was up-regulated, and tyrosine hydroxylase content in the midbrain ventral tegmentum and substantia nigra pars compacta was also increased. The effect of administration of Xifeng Dingchan decoction at 7.5 g/kg per day was similar to that of Madopar at 67.5 mg/kg per day. These results indicate that the therapeutic effect of Xifeng Dingchan decoction on Parkinson's disease is associated with the up-regulated protein and mRNA expression of tyrosine hydroxylase in the midbrain.展开更多

Presented in this study is a high resolution magnetic susceptibility record from the Xifeng section, which consists of Quaternary loess-paleosol sequence and Pliocene red clay. Variations in magnetic susceptibility are well correlated with the δ18O record in deep-sea sediments and the eolian flux of Greenland. The climatic evolution in the Xifeng section shows that since the Late Tertiary, the driving force of the East-Asia paleo-monsoon is correlated with solar radiation on a 10-ka time scale .展开更多

The results show that the variations of element abundance and 10Be with depth are similar to those of δ18O in DSDP, and may be considered as an indicator of climatic and environmental changes.展开更多

The results showed that minerals in both samples are dominated by detrial Fe-Ti oxides of aeolian origin. In sample XS-4J the reflectance and iron contents of magnetic minerals are usually high. In addition to magnetite (Fe-3O-4), maghemite (γFe-2O-3) and hematite (Fe-2O-3), some Fe-high oxide ({72.25 wt%}-{86.67 wt%}), ilmenite (FeTiO-3), and magnetite-ulvspinel were also detected. In sample DS-4J obvious negative linear correlations were found between Ti and Fe, and the contents of Mn, Si, Al and Ca are usually high and the minerals are dominated by magnetite (maghemite), goethite (FeOOH) and limonite (containing Si and OH). In addition, the signs of corrosion of magnetic minerals and newly crystallized magnetite (maghemite) were recognized. Differences in the composition and assemblage characteristics of magnetite minerals between XS and DS reflect significant differences in source rocks and preserving conditions.展开更多

The result wascompared with that of 15 cases treated with routine regimen alone(control. group) . After 3 months of treat-ment, the blood pressure, sodium excretion, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine were all reduced, while cre-atinine clearance rate (CCr) and residual renal function index(RRFI) were improved significantly in bothgroups. Compared with the control group, the treatment on the test group showed a more prominent effect onlowering of diastolic blood pressure, elevating the hemoglobin, reducing the blood level of triglyceride andcreatinine as well as improving on CCr and RRFI , suggesting the deterioration of residual renal function couldbe restrained by ZGXFD , through improving the disorder of lipid metabolism, osmolality gradient and creati-nine kinetics.展开更多
