This work aimed to study the associated factors with the occurrence of acute respiratory infections in children 0 to 5 years old in Yénawa, Cotonou in 2023. Subjects and Method: It was an analytical cross-sectional study of children aged 0 - 5 years and their mothers in Yénawa, selected by four-degree random sampling. The sampling size, calculated using the Schwartz formula, was 126 children and 126 mothers. The dependent variable was the occurrence of acute respiratory infections. The independent variables were classified into four groups: socio-demographic and economic characteristics, behavioral factors, child-related factors, and environmental factors. Data collected by observation and questionnaire survey were analyzed using STATA version 15 software. Associated factors were investigated by bivariate analysis and multiple logistic regression, at the 5% significance level. Results: A total of 126 children aged 0 - 5 years and 126 mothers were surveyed, aged 23.5 (11 - 36) months and 30 (18 - 48) years respectively. The prevalence of acute respiratory infections was 74.60% (CI95% = 66.89 to 82.30). The associated factors were the mother’s age between 18 and 28 (OR = 10.77;CI95% = 1.89 to 61.27;p = 0.007), the use of charcoal/wood for cooking (OR = 7.36;IC = 1.99 to 27.10;p = 0.003)), children's poor personal hygiene (OR = 8.87;IC = 2.92 to 26.97;p 0.001)), and cohabitation with domestic animals (OR = 7.27;IC = 1.67 to 31.71;p = 0.015). Conclusion: Communicating with mothers about the factors identified will help reduce the prevalence of acute respiratory infections in children aged 0 to 5.展开更多

PFN-Br interfacial layer entrenched in OPV devices gives overall enhanced open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density and fill factor thus improving device performance. PEDOT: PSS is an electro-conductive polymer solution that has been extensively utilized in solar cell devices as a hole transport layer (HTL) due to its strong hole affinity, good thermal and mechanical stability, high work function, and high transparency in the visible range. The structure of the organic solar cell is ITO/PEDOT: PSS/BTP-4F: PBDB-T-2F/PFN-Br/Ag. Firstly, the active layer thickness was optimized to 100 nm;after that, the active-layer thickness was varied up to 900 nm. The results of these simulations demonstrated that the active layer thickness improves efficiency significantly up to 500 nm, then it decreased with increasing the thickness of the active layer from 600 nm, also notice that the short circuit current and the fill factor decrease with increasing the active layer from 600 nm, while the open voltage circuit increased with increasing the thickness of the active layer. The optimum thickness is 500 nm.展开更多

文摘Feature extraction is the most critical step in classification of multispectral image. The classification accuracy is mainly influenced by the feature sets that are selected to classify the image. In the past, handcrafted feature sets are used which are not adaptive for different image domains. To overcome this,an evolu-tionary learning method is developed to automatically learn the spatial-spectral features for classification.A modified Firefly Algorithm(FA)which achieves maximum classification accuracy with reduced size of feature set is proposed to gain the interest of feature selection for this purpose. For extracting the most effi-cient features from the data set,we have used 3-D discrete wavelet transform which decompose the multispectral image in all three dimensions. For selecting spatial and spectral features we have studied three different approaches namely overlapping window(OW-3DFS),non-overlapping window(NW-3DFS)adaptive window cube(AW-3DFS)and Pixel based technique.Fivefold Multiclass Support Vector Machine(MSVM)is used for classification purpose.Experiments con-ducted on Madurai LISS IV multispectral image exploited that the adaptive win-dow approach is used to increase the classification accuracy.
文摘Introduction: Acute respiratory infections remain one of the main causes of mortality in children aged 0 to 5. Conclusion: Communicating with mothers about the factors identified will help reduce the prevalence of acute respiratory infections in children aged 0 to 5.
文摘In this study, organic solar cells (OSCs) with an active layer, a blend of polymer of non-fullerene (NFA) Y6 as an acceptor, and donor PBDB-T-2F as donor were simulated through the one-dimensional solar capacitance simulator (SCAPS-1D) software to examine the performance of this type of organic polymer thin-film solar cell by varying the thickness of the active layer. The optimum thickness is 500 nm.
文摘Enterprise mergers and acquisitions(M&A)are vital strategies for companies worldwide to expand markets, enhance competitiveness, and achieve strategic goals. The Chinese government’s strong support for the new energy industry has created a favorable policy environment for the development of the lithium battery sector.Against this backdrop,Tianqi Lithium Corp’s acquisition of Sociedad Química y Minera(SQM)in Chile has garnered widespread attention. This paper takes Tianqi Lithium Corp’s acquisition of SQM as the research subject, conducting a detailed analysis of the motives behind the M&A.Subsequently, financial indicators are employed to conduct a performance analysis from a financial perspective, examining the impact of the M&A.Finally, based on the findings of the case analysis, relevant suggestions are proposed to offer a reference for the development of enterprise mergers and acquisitions.
