Seismic effectiveness evaluation and optimized design of tie up method for securing museum collections

To quantify the seismic effectiveness of the most commonly used fishing line tie up method for securing museum collections and optimize fixed strategies for exhibitions,shaking table tests of the seismic systems used for typical museum collection replicas have been carried out.The influence of body shape and fixed measure parameters on the seismic responses of replicas and the interaction behavior between replicas and fixed measures have been explored.Based on the results,seismic effectiveness evaluation indexes of the tie up method are proposed.Reasonable suggestions for fixed strategies are given,which provide a basis for the exhibition of delicate museum collections considering the principle of minimizing seismic responses and intervention.The analysis results show that a larger ratio of height of mass center to bottom diameter led to more intense rocking responses.Increasing the initial pretension of fishing lines was conducive to reducing the seismic responses and stress variation of the lines.Through comprehensive consideration of the interaction forces and effective securement,it is recommended to apply 20%of breaking stress as the initial pretension.For specific museum collections that cannot be effectively protected by the independent tie up method,an optimized strategy of a combination of fishing lines and fasteners is recommended.

The Educational Adaptive-optics Solar Telescope at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum

The Educational Adaptive-optics Solar Telescope(EAST)at the Shanghai Astronomy Museum has been running routine astronomical observations since 2021.It is a 65-cm-aperture Gregorian solar telescope for scientific education,outreach,and research.The telescope system is designed in an“open”format so that the solar tower architecture can be integrated with it,and visitors can watch the observations live from inside the tower.Equipped with adaptive optics,a high-resolution imaging system,and an integral field unit spectro-imaging system,this telescope can obtain high-resolution solar images in the TiO and Hαbands,and perform spectral image reconstruction using 400 optical fibers at selected wavelengths.It can be used not only in public education and scientific outreach but also in solar physics research.

Research on Improving Artistry of Exhibitions in History Museums in China

Chinese civilization,with its long and continuous history and rich cultural heritage,plays a central role in China’s dialogue with other civilizations.Therefore,it is necessary to collect and refine the defining symbols and best elements of Chinese culture and showcase them to the world;develop discourse and narrative systems with Chinese characteristics,better tell China’s stories,and make China’s voice heard.This effort can help Chinese civilization shine globally,interact with other civilizations,and promote its communication and influence worldwide.In China,history museums,as physical carriers of Chinese civilization,are an important component in developing Chinese discourse and narrative systems and an important channel to better tell China’s stories and make China’s voice heard.Improving the artistry of museum exhibitions caters to the public’s growing demand for a more enriching cultural experience and substantially promotes Chinese culture on a global scale.With the communication of Chinese civilization as the main focal point,this study investigated the current issues related to the artistry of history museum exhibitions in China and defined the artistry of history museum exhibitions and their connotations.Based on an in-depth analysis of the artistry of historical museum exhibitions within China,this paper enumerated the areas where improvements could be made to enhance exhibition artistry,intending to promote the communication of Chinese civilization.

"Beauty in the Gathering:Exhibition of Precious Collection from Art Museums around China"opens at the National Art Museum of China(NAMOC)on February 1 and lasts until April 1.The exhibition provides a glimpse of the great variety of art collected by 15 museums,and distinctive features that vary from region to region,which has witnessed the further prosperity and development of the art museum industry since the new era.The exhibition showcases over 500 pieces of traditional Chinese painting,oil painting,printmaking,watercolor painting,lacquer painting,sculpture,folk art,mixed media art,calligraphy and other collections provided by these museums.

Analysis on the Development Model of Relic and Museum Tourism Products Based on ERP Analysis:A Case Study on Shandong Province

In recent years, the trend of people choosing relic and museum tourism during their vacationand leisure time is growing day by day, mainly because it touches people's feelings about historical relicsand cultural heritage. The development of relic and museum tourism products is not only the inheritanceof culture and the protection of cultural relics, but also the promotion of tourism consumption under thebackground of cultural tourism integration, which has promoted the development of regional economy.With the relic and museum tourism resources in Shandong Province as the research object, through theanalysis of its resources, market and products, this paper put forward three applicable modes of relic andmuseum tourism product development, including independent development, joint development, and artauthorization, and proposed specific suggestions around the three modes.

Integration of Environmental and Social Values in Cultural Spaces:Sustainable and Inclusive Wayfinding Materials for Museums

In the context of use of large museum centers,numerous national and international methodological experiments show that the wayfinding project must consider the needs of both habitual users(user-centered design)and local communities(design for communities)and the importance of environmental protection(eco-design)as a priority interest of the community.This“double target”,“user-centered”and“environment-centered”can be applied during the selection process of materials to be used in the project.With respect to these possibilities,this contribution intends to present the results of research focused on material characterization of the reception and distribution spaces of large museum centers.This characterization is based on use of sensory materials and aims to evaluate their impact on the usability and sustainability of wayfinding systems.The paper directed towards a proposal for organization of integrated information on new generation so-called smart materials;within the design of a wayfinding system,these can balance the aesthetic-perceptual and performance and environmental impact,in order to allow designers to make informed decisions oriented towards inclusion and sustainability.The study was addressed by conducting two phases of systematic literature and library review of materials.The investigations conducted led to achievement of a first research result which consists in the identification of a“standard sheet”for the mapping and cataloging of the materials used for wayfinding.The“standard sheet”allows organizing the information on smart,sensorial,and eco-friendly materials,balancing the aesthetic-perceptive component with the performance on the environmental impact along the entire life cycle in a circular perspective.This tool could guide designers towards an environmental communication project oriented towards sustainability and is effective for usability and wayfinding.

博物馆手册类文本汉译策略——以Guidelines for Disaster Preparedness in Museums为例

博物馆安全是博物馆工作的重中之重,博物馆的安全为保障博物馆正常运转发挥重要作用。自2019年新冠肺炎疫情暴发以来,博物馆面临的安全形势十分严峻,主要表现为应急措施匮乏、灾害防范不到位以及管理体制不完善等问题。这给全球博物馆的发展带来了新的安全挑战,为博物馆安全提出了更高的要求,如何预防与应对博物馆突发事件成为博物馆安全的重要任务。该文选取了一篇国际博物馆协会官方发布的国际通用手册Guidelines for Disaster Preparedness in Museums为研究对象,从词汇、句法及篇章三个方面分析博物馆手册类文本的特点,归纳三种翻译策略,以期促进我国博物馆健康发展,为博物馆手册文本的翻译研究贡献绵薄之力。

Techniques of Wallpaper(Biao Hu)in the Palace Museum:A Case Study of the Lodge of Bamboo Fragrance(Zhuxiang Guan)

Biao Hu was one of the eight famous traditional crafts in the late Qing dynasty.This skill involved decorating the interiors of ancient buildings such as ceilings,walls,and windows and creating burial objects.It was primarily used for wooden buildings in northern China during the early Qing dynasty.For example,there is white-patterned wallpaper in the Forbidden City utilizing both traditional and nontraditional patterns.Moreover,there was wallpaper with a special pattern in the Lodge of the Bamboo Fragrance(Zhuxiang Guan).Its structure and composition were studied via morphological observations and spectral analyses,the pigments and dyes were analyzed by Raman spectroscopy and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrum(UPLC-MS).Traditional technology and exchanges between China and the West were discussed by the study of patterned wallpapers in other buildings of the Forbidden City.

Museum’s Innovative Strategy During Pandemic

As heritage tourism,a museum must continually innovate to attract visitors.Not just the heritage collection in the museum but also what to do and experience in the museum are those that need to be considered.Museum Sonobudoyo in Yogyakarta,Indonesia keeps improving its strategy to be the preferred tourism destination.This study is implemented with a modified Delphie method to find the best innovative strategy to attract more people to visit the museum and the risk management strategy that should be undertaken to prevent mistakes and support innovation during the pandemic.The primary respondents were Pentahelix elements in the society which consist of government,academic institutions,media,business,and entrepreneurship,as well as professionals and students to gain more profound knowledge and expectation.The result of this study is a list of priority that needs to be included in the proper marketing strategy,such as promotion and technology which extend the theory of Nechita(2022)that museum should have required activities such as promoting the institution’s activity in a professional manner which is with technology.Appropriate communication and coordination are also needed to maintain the implemented strategy’s success.

Study of Immersion in Augmented Reality Through Analysis of Immersion Elements in Museums

With the advent of the information age,augmented reality technology can enhance the sense of reality in the virtual world and immerse people in the real and virtual world.People have always been interested in virtual space or augmented reality technology,especially in the face of historical development trends.Museums have always been open to the public,they are not just a collection,but also an exhibition for the public.Through analyzing different museums,it is found that museums with augmented reality technology exhibitions are non-profit museums for the purpose of emotional experience.In order to find out the immersion factors of virtual reality in museums,on the basis of previous research,this paper divides immersion in augmented reality into story immersion,five-sense experience immersion,and spatial interaction immersion.Through the analysis of different museums,it is found that immersion through five-sense experience is the most commonly used method when all display media are included.This method provides educational content for museum visitors and projects virtual presentations through monitors and portable IT devices,thereby increasing visitors’viewing pleasure.

目的在交互叙事视角下,研究城市智慧博物馆的沉浸式体验设计方法及设计实践。方法通过案例研究等方法分析智慧博物馆交互叙述的构成要素和特点,进一步探索交互叙事与智慧博物馆沉浸式体验的关系,从构建跨数字媒介的多感官沉浸体验、重构交互叙事要素与关联叙事内容、营造情境感知的叙事空间与互动式故事体验三个方面提出基于交互叙事的智慧博物馆沉浸式体验设计方法,并设计基于交互叙事的智慧博物馆沉浸式体验设计的流程,从实践良渚博物馆沉浸体验项目的角度验证方法的可行性和有效性。结论设计者通过编码叙事空间和叙事内容,运用跨数字媒介助力多感官沉浸,提取智慧博物馆文化作为叙事主题,优化沉浸交互体验空间,使参观者超越时空限制,与所在城市的历史脉络和文化内涵进行深度互动,从而对城市文化产生更强烈的认同。

三星堆古蜀文化遗址博物馆大型螺旋坡道结构设计与分析

三星堆古蜀文化遗址博物馆中庭的螺旋坡道采用钢箱梁结构体系,最大半径28.7m,水平投影长度118.5m。介绍了大型螺旋坡道结构体系选型和边界条件的对比过程,采用通用计算软件MIDAS Gen建立多尺度整体模型考虑螺旋坡道和主体结构的相互作用,通过静力分析和反应谱分析考察螺旋坡道在不同荷载作用下的承载能力和变形,并采用有限元软件ANSYS建立分析模型进行连续倒塌分析。结果表明,螺旋坡道采用钢箱梁结构具有较好的整体刚度,静力荷载和地震作用下坡道的应力和变形均满足规范要求,并具有较好的抗连续倒塌能力。

基于网络文本分析的博物馆观众情感体验探究——以安徽博物院新馆为例

以安徽博物院新馆作为研究对象,采集网络评论,运用网络文本分析方法,使用ROST CM6软件进行分析,探究安博院新馆观众对博物馆的情感体验。分析结果显示绝大部分观众对安博院新馆持积极情绪,总体体验良好。但从展馆展品、管理服务、安徽地域文化认同维度细化分析,安博院新馆仍存在提升空间。安博院新馆可以通过丰富馆藏文物展览资源、丰富馆内工作人员的相关培训和基础设施服务、丰富文创产品,扩大文化传播空间等方式,进一步提升观众的情感体验,增强安徽文化的吸引力。

中国公共博物馆的“再媒介化”实践——以三大博物馆抖音官方账号为例

公共博物馆作为现代社会重要的“文化装置”,承担着向公众进行文化传播的重要使命。博物馆的新媒体传播模式意味着把博物馆本身作为一种大众文化传播媒介,在保留其媒介特性的基础上与新时代媒介进行融合——博物馆的“再媒介化”。研究选取中国人民革命军事博物馆、故宫博物院、中国国家博物馆的抖音官方账号,对其发布的视频内容进行文本分析,深入探讨其在短视频平台的具体传播实践以及如何结合博物馆原有的内容与传播特性进行“再媒介化”的过程。结果表明,中国人民革命军事博物馆以革命历史和军事知识作为基础文本,知识专精性强,采用专业化与生活化兼具的文本表达,体现了“直接性”特征;故宫博物院展览以复古的精英美学价值及生活方式为特色,采取了大众化与娱乐化的叙事逻辑,其制作的精美短视频推动了线上传播与线下体验的相互建构,展现了“超媒介性”的特征;中国国家博物馆以“国之重器”的珍贵藏品为特色,然而,具有“碎片化”特性的短视频平台尚未全面展示传统的脉络化线性叙事逻辑,存在未来创构新的表现方式的空间。

高原地区博物馆经书柜内环境参数稳定性分析

高原地区寒冷干燥,昼夜温差大,日照强,为了研究高原博物馆环境参数的变化情况,对拉萨市某博物馆库房经书柜内外进行为期10个月的温湿度、CO_(2)浓度、VOC浓度、光照强度和紫外线强度监测,分析了环境参数的变化规律、特征和影响因素。结果表明:柜内温湿度随柜外温湿度季节性变化而变化,柜内温湿度日变化小,温湿度平均日较差分别为0.73℃和0.83%,柜外为1.6℃和4.25%,经书柜可以有效保护古籍文物不受柜外环境温湿度日波动的干扰;柜内外温湿度日较差与季节无显著的相关关系,该博物馆建筑围护结构隔热性能较好;温度日较差与CO_(2)浓度日较差呈显著的正相关关系,即库房内工作人员越多,温度日较差越大;柜内VOC容易富集,浓度更高,建议放置活性炭等吸附材料;光照和紫外线强度极低,当前经书柜整体有利于保存。
