Located in the northern margin of the Qinghai—Tibet Plateau, the Longshoushan Mt. is a small block between Qinghai—Tibet Landmass and Alashan Landmass.Traditional tectonic viewpoint does not consider that the Longshoushan Mt. is a single tectonic block. It is quite evident that there is only a hazy idea about the Longshoushan block. Though there is a very complex tectonic region between Qinghai—Tibet Landmass and Alashan Landmass, the Longshoushan block in the region shows unique tectonic landforms, deep structures and uplift mechanisms. Researching into the relationship between the Longshoushan block and the Qinghai—Tibet and Alashan Landmasses will contribute to the realization of boundary and orogenic belt on the northern margin of the Qinghai—Tibet block. It is a very important scientific subject.The Longshoushan Mt., longer than 150km in NWW direction and wider than 10km, is located on the northern side of Hexi corridor(100 5°~102 5°E,38 5°~39 3°N). It extends from the northwest of Zhangye to Hexibu, and from the south of Chaoshui basin to the north of Minle basin. From west to east, there are the highest peak, Dongdashan Mt.(3616m), the second peak, Dufengding(2937m) and Qianshan peak(2827m), height of the mountains is getting lower and lower, mean height above sea level is over 2000m, and relative height difference is about 1000m. The Longshoushan Mt. provides a natural defence for stopping the southward migration of sandstorm in the Hexi corridor, and forms a topographic step zone from the Alashan Plateau to the Qinghai—Tibet Plateau. In the Longshoushan area, developed landforms, such as planation surface, table\|land, terrace land, are general characters of all geomorphic units. It is shown that the Longshoushan Mt. is a intermittently uplifted block. An astonishingly similar of geometric patterns of Taohualashan Mt. and Hongshihu basin is very interesting natural landscape in the area. It is suggested that Taohualashan Mt. broke away from Hongshihu Basin in secular tectonic movement. The viewpoint is supported by major formation, lithofacies, limitation and style of active faulting. The Longshoushan block consists of two major active fault zones (the northern Longshoushan fault zone and the southern Longshoushan fault zone), the active Pingshanhu—Hongshihu fault basin belt and Taohualashan—Xieposhan tectonic uplift belt. In addition, there are the NNW\|trending West Polamading fault, NWW\|trending Maohudong fault trough, NNE\|trending Daxiahe rift valley and others on the block. the activity and formation style of these structures indicate that the block is acted not only by compressive stress, but also by tensile stress. The northern Longshoushan and southern Longshoushan fault zones are closely related to formation and evolution of the Longshoushan block, the two zones are active fault zones since late Pleistocene and boundary fault zones of the block. The genesis and activity style of the Pingshanhu\|Hongshihu basin are similar to the continental rift, which may be due to the mantle uplift. 展开更多

The Deformation of Active Tectonic Blocks on the Chinese Mainland and Its Relationship with Seismic Activity 被引量:1

Based on the hypothesis of the active tectonic blocks on the Chinese continent and its adjacent regions (both the method of the DDA on a spherical surface and the GPS survey results observed from 1991 to 2001 are used), the movements and deformations of each active tectonic block are calculated. The calculation results show that although the movements and deformations of active tectonic blocks in the eastern region and in the western region of China are different, active tectonic blocks in the same active tectonic block region are coherent. Then, the relative velocities of the active tectonic blocks’ boundary zones are calculated, and the relationship between current crustal motion and strong seismic activities is discussed. Earthquakes ( M S≥7 0) on the Chinese continent since 1988 all occurred on boundary zones of active tectonic blocks with high slipping speed. 展开更多

The characteristics of vertical crustal movement in Chinese mainland are studied, and the ideas and principles for dividing active blocks according to the map of recent vertical crustal deformation rate in China is proposed. As a result, Chinese mainland is divided into 2 first-grade blocks, the east and west block, 6 second-grade blocks, the Northeast China, North China, East China, Xizang (Tibet), Gansu-Qinghai-Xizang (Gan-Qing-Zang) and Xinjiang block, and 16 third-grade blocks. The boundaries of active blocks divided in this paper are generally consistent with the pattern of neotectonic movement with some local difference. It shows that the recent crustal activity in Chinese mainland inherits the neotectonic movement occurred since the Quaternary, while some new activity tendencies appear. 展开更多

Elementary Research on Activity Behavior of the Crust in Funan-Huoqiu Area, Southern Border of the North China Active Block Region

The Funan-Huoqiu area is located in the border tectonic belt between the North China and South China active block regions. By means of seismological and geological surveys and synthetic analysis, evidences of tectonic deformation in lower intensity have been found in the area since Late Pleistocene, where small earthquakes are distributed linearly along the main faults, conjugate shear joints are developed in the Upper Pleistocene nearby the faults. In the south of the studied region, fissures with different lengths, widths and directions occurred successively in Gushi, Huoqiu, Funan and other places of the area, in the 1970’s, and the direction of the fissures is approximately consistent with that of the Feizhong fault and Wanglaorenji fault. The authors hold that the clustering of small earthquakes, the conjugate shear joints developed in the Upper Pleistocene, the crumpled deformation of materials on fault plane, and the development of modern surface fissures in the area all reflect that the energy in the crust was slowly released, and that the weak deformation took place in corresponding faults. There was only one destructive earthquake taking place in the area (the Jiangkouji {M_S43/4} earthquake). Altogather, there has been weak activity in the area since the Late Quaternary, and it is mainly shown as a creep-slip. 展开更多

Global Positioning System (GPS) observations during four measurement campaigns from 1992 to 1999 are used in a study of the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of crustal deformation of active tectonic blocks in North China. The Euler vectors for these active blocks are determined on the basis of GPS velocities of a group relative stable points in 1992,1995,1996 and in 1996,1999 respectively. We have studied the relative motion between blocks at the boundaries and the intra block deformation field. We have also inverted the strain rate fields for these active blocks by bi cubic spline model based on the GPS velocity field. The results show that the intra block deformation rates are different from those in block boundary zones, and are also different in different periods; the deformational field is generally characterized by intra-block extension in North China. 展开更多

Using discontinuous global positioning system survey data for 2008–2014, t... The geology and tectonics in the eastern margin of Tibetan Plateau are complex. The main tectonic framework is composed of blocks and faults. Using discontinuous global positioning system survey data for 2008–2014, the velocity field for the Eurasia reference framework was obtained. Based on the velocity field, the present-day velocities of the blocks and boundary faults were estimated. The results reveal that the movement rates of the Chuan-Qing, South China, Chuan-Dian and Indo-China blocks are(17.02±0.60) mm/a,(8.77±1.51) mm/a,(13.85±1.31) mm/a and(6.84 ± 0.74) mm/a, respectively, and their movement directions are 99.5°, 120.3°, 142.9° and 153.3°, respectively. All blocks exhibit clockwise rotation. The displacement rates of the Xianshuihe, Longmenshan, Anninghe, Zemuhe, Xiaojiang and Red River faults are(7.30±1.25–8.30±1.26) mm/a,(10.07±0.97–11.79±0.89) mm/a,(0.96±0.74–2.98±1.73) mm/a,(2.03±0.49–3.20±0.73) mm/a,(3.45±0.40–6.02±0.50) mm/a and(6.23±0.56) mm/a, respectively. The Xianshuihe, Anninghe, Zemuhe and Xiaojiang faults show leftlateral strike-slip movement, while the Longmenshan and Red River faults show right-lateral strikeslip. These characteristics of the blocks and faults are related to the particular tectonic location and dynamic mechanism. 展开更多

Research on the Characteristics of Large Earthquake Activity on the Active Tectonic Boundaries on the Chinese Mainland 被引量:1

Based on the research and the division of the active tectonic blocks and their boundaries on the Chinese mainland, the feature of the large earthquake activities on the 24 boundaries between the 6 active tectonic block regions (grade Ⅰ) and the 22 active tectonic blocks (grade Ⅱ) are studied. The seismicity levels on the active tectonic block boundaries are discussed considering the large earthquake frequency and the released strain energy in unit distance and time. The theoretic maximal magnitude and the recurrence period of each boundary are then calculated from the G-R relation. By comparing this with the actual earthquake records, it is found that the intensities of the earthquake deduced from the seismic activity parameter (a/b) on the main active boundaries on the Chinese mainland are consistent with that of the natural earthquakes. Meanwhile, an inverse relation is found between the recurrence periods of large earthquakes and the tectonic motion rate on the boundaries. These results show that the a, b values of each boundary obtained in this paper are valuable. In addition, the present seismic activities and hazards of these boundaries are also probed into with the historical data and their elapsed time on each boundary based on the hypothesis that the large earthquakes satisfy Poisson distribution. 展开更多

Fault structures in the Litang-Batang region of West Sichuan are mainly sub-longitudinal and a set of NNE- and NW-trending conjugate shear fracture zones is developed. In this paper, emphasis is put on explaining the movement patterns along the fault structures in the region since the late Pleistocene-Holocene on the basis of detailed interpretation of TM satellite images and aero-photos in geomorphologic aspect of active structures. The sub-latitudinal shortening rate along the sub-longitudinal Jinshajiang fault zone is determined to be 2~3mm/a since the late Quaternary, the horizontal dextral slip movement rate along the NNE-trending Batang fault is 1.3~2.7mm/a on average, and the horizontal sinistral slip movement rate along the NW-trending Litang fault is 2.6~4.4 mm/a on average. The general status of the recent crustal movement in the region and the regularities of block motion caused by it are analyzed in combination with data of geophysical fields, focal mechanism solutions and GPS measurements. The occurrence of the 1989 Batang M6.2~6.7 earthquake swarm is suggested to be the result of tensional rupture along the sub-latitudinal normal fault derived from the conjugate shearing along the NNE-trending Batang and the NW-trending Litang faults. It reveals a typical seismic case produced by normal faulting in a compressional tectonic environment. 展开更多

The relationship between temporal-spatial evolution of gravity and earthquake activity during 1992~2001 has been analyzed systematically by integrally adjusting the gravity observation data of the northeastern edge of Qinghai- Xizang (Qingzang) block. The result shows that the gravity observation data of the northeastern edge of Qingzang block obtained by using the uniform starting datum can completely reflect the precursory gravity information appearing during the seismogenic process. In the genesis stage of an earthquake, regional gravity anomaly appears in a large area, resulting in related local gravity anomaly. The dynamic image of gravity field can clearly reflect the orderly evolution and earthquake activity. 展开更多

Twin-Block和Activator矫治器对骨性Ⅱ类青少年上气道结构影响的研究

目的通过双垫矫治装置(Twin-Block)和肌激动器(Activator)的矫正,观察治疗前后及两种矫治装置的差异探讨其对患者上气道结构的作用。方法选取2016年1月1日至2018年12月30日在宁波大学附属人民医院口腔科门诊经过纳排标准筛选的骨性Ⅱ类... 目的通过双垫矫治装置(Twin-Block)和肌激动器(Activator)的矫正,观察治疗前后及两种矫治装置的差异探讨其对患者上气道结构的作用。方法选取2016年1月1日至2018年12月30日在宁波大学附属人民医院口腔科门诊经过纳排标准筛选的骨性Ⅱ类青少年患者30例,其中15例戴用Twin-Block矫治器,15例戴用Activator矫治器,分析比较两组矫治前后上气道矢状径及舌骨位置的变化量及比较两组上气道矢状径和舌骨位置矫治改变量的组间比较。结果Twin-Block和Activator矫治器在矫治后腭咽段指标(Ve1-Ve2、P1-P2)、舌咽段指标(Pas1-Pas2)、舌骨矢状向指标(AH-CVP、AH-NP、AH-RGn)、垂直向指标(AH-MP、AH-Or)均较矫治前差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),而两组鼻咽段指标(PNS-S、PNS-Aa、PNS-Ad1、PNS-Ad2)、喉咽段指标(Va1-Va2)、软腭长度及厚度(PNS-P1、Sp1-Sp2)、舌骨指标(AH-FH、AH-SN、AH-PNS)组内比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。两组矫治装置治疗效果的对比结果显示,Ve1-Ve2、Pas1-Pas2、AH-MP比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),其余指标差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论Twin-Block和Activator矫治器均能使上气道矢状径及舌骨位置得到改变,提升了呼吸通气效率。双垫矫治装置相较肌激动器能更好地改善骨性Ⅱ类的腭咽段及舌咽段矢状径,为骨性Ⅱ类早期矫治的临床诊疗给予一定的帮助及指导。 展开更多

Western Sichuan and its vicinity are located in the juncture of three big active blocks, namely, the Chuandian (Sichuan and Yunnan), the Bayan Har and the South China blocks, on the eastern margin of the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet) Plateau. Many groups of active faults that are capable of generating earthquakes are developed there. Because there exist lateral secondary active faults, the Chuandian block can be further divided into the central Yumlan and northwestern Sichuan sub-blocks; while the Longmenshan sub-block can be divided on the east end of the Bayan Har block. Joint exploration of deep crustal structure shows that there exist low-velocity and high-conductivity layers in the crust of the Chuandian and Bayan Har blocks, which are one of the important factors that make the upper crust prone to earthquake. The results of geological study and modern GPS observation show that blocks of different orders all have SE- or SSE-trending sliding, clockwise rotation and upwelling movement; but there are some differences in amplitude. This paper has also given the geological or GPS slip rates of main active fault zones and discussed the main scientific problems still existing now. 展开更多

The temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of earthquakes in the Ordos block are studied by using historical earthquake data,instrument data of the regional seismic network around the Ordos block and the historical felt earthquake data,and the relationship between seismicity in the Ordos block and seismicity around the Ordos block is discussed. The result shows that the Ordos block is a typical moderate-strong earthquake active region where many M_S≥5.0 destructive earthquakes have occurred. The temporal and spatial distribution of earthquakes in the Ordos block is asymmetrical. The temporal distribution of earthquakes shows a periodic characteristic and the activity of earthquakes in the southeastern Ordos block is higher than in the northwest Ordos block. The M_S≥5.0 moderate size earthquakes in the Ordos block are controlled by the M_S≥6.0 earthquake around the Ordos block. 展开更多

Research on the increase of small earthquake activity before the 22 moderate-strong earthquakes has indicated that small earthquake activity was enhanced before 17 of the moderate-strong earthquakes. Though the increased seismicity is a common phenomenon in the northeast margin of the Qinghai-Xizang ( Tibet ) block,we have difficulty in predicting the moderate-strong earthquakes by this phenomenon. In order to predict the moderate-strong earthquakes through the increased seismicity of small earthquakes,this paper attempts to propose a new method, which calculates small earthquake frequency through the change of distribution pattern of small earthquakes, based on the characteristics of small earthquake activity in the northeastern Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) block,and then make primary applications. The result shows that we are able to obtain obvious anomalies in the frequency of small earthquakes before moderate strong earthquakes through the new method,with little spatial range effect on the amplitude of this small earthquake frequency anomaly. We can obtain mid to short-term anomaly indices for moderate-strong earthquakes in the northeast margin of the Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) block. 展开更多

In regards to the earthquakes recording M ≥ 5.0 that occurred in middle northern part of the Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Block from 1970 - 2003, in this study we describe the temporal and spatial centralization features of the weak earthquakes and the enhancement and anomalous quiescence of their seismic activity before main shocks through 4 parameters, which are basically not correlated: earthquake time centralization degree parameter Ct, earthquake space centralization degree parameter Cd, η value and weak earthquake frequency and so on. On the basis of calculation results, it has been seen that before earthquakes with M ≥ 5.0 took place in the middle northern part of the Qinghal-Xizang (Tibet) Block, the frequency of weak earthquakes often shows ascent and drop, their strength shows an obvious enhancement and the centralization distribution with time and space is evident. 展开更多

This study aims to further enhance the oil recovery of reservoirs in the Zhong-2 Block of the Gudao Oilfield by identifying the most effective microbial-flooding activator systems and applying them in the field.We began by analyzing the structure of the reservoirs'endogenous microbial communities to understand the potential impact of microbial flooding.This was followed by determining commonly used activator systems based on their abilities to stimulate oil-displacement functional bacteria.Through laboratory experiments on oil displacement efficiency and sweep characteristics,we determined the optimal activator injection method(injection ratio)and the requisite bacterial concentration for maximal microbial-flooding efficacy.Finally,we selected the optimal activator systems and applied them to field tests.Our findings suggest the target block is highly receptive to microbial-flooding.In terms of performance,the activator systems ranked as No.3>No.4>No.1>No.2.Interestingly,a deep activator system,when compared to the top-performing No.3 system,exhibited a higher bacterial concentration peak and longer peaking duration.Optimal oil displacement effects were observed at a 1:4 vol ratio between the No.3 activator and deep activator systems,with bacterial concentrations of up to 106 cells/mL or above.Field tests with the selected activator systems,following a specific injection protocol,demonstrated a notable increase in oil production and a reduction in water cut. 展开更多

目的探讨Mini-twin block矫治器和肌激动器对于早期安氏Ⅱ类1分类错颌畸形的治疗效果。方法 2010年1月~2014年12月我院门诊收治的处于生长高峰期及生长高峰前期的安氏Ⅱ类1分类错颌患者56例(男30例,女26例),年龄9~14岁。随机分成两组... 目的探讨Mini-twin block矫治器和肌激动器对于早期安氏Ⅱ类1分类错颌畸形的治疗效果。方法 2010年1月~2014年12月我院门诊收治的处于生长高峰期及生长高峰前期的安氏Ⅱ类1分类错颌患者56例(男30例,女26例),年龄9~14岁。随机分成两组,分别采用Mini-twin block矫治器(28例)和肌功能矫治器(28例)进行治疗,治疗前后进行X线投影测量,分析并评价其疗效。结果采用Mini-twin block矫治器治疗组平均治疗时间(9.5个月)较肌激动器治疗组(11.8个月)更短。两组患者矫治后SNB角增加,ANB角明显减少,磨牙及尖牙达到中性关系或基本中性关系,前牙覆颌/覆盖达到正常或接近于正常,面型得到明显改善,两组间差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05)。结论两组矫治方法都能达到满意的治疗效果,但Mini-twin block矫治器治疗时间更短,制作成本更低廉,更值得推广。 展开更多

目的:探讨生长发育高峰期患者功能矫治后上颌切牙位移及牙槽骨改建情况。方法:选择使用高位头帽肌激动器(HGAC)和Twin-block功能矫治器矫治成功的30例骨性Ⅱ类下颌骨后缩患者为研究对象,根据使用矫治器的不同将其分为HGAC组和Twin-block... 目的:探讨生长发育高峰期患者功能矫治后上颌切牙位移及牙槽骨改建情况。方法:选择使用高位头帽肌激动器(HGAC)和Twin-block功能矫治器矫治成功的30例骨性Ⅱ类下颌骨后缩患者为研究对象,根据使用矫治器的不同将其分为HGAC组和Twin-block组,每组15例患者。治疗前及治疗后分别拍摄锥形束CT(CBCT),观察上颌中切牙在牙槽骨内的相对位置变化及牙槽骨改建情况。采用SPSS 20.0软件包对治疗前、后唇腭侧牙槽骨厚度、中切牙及牙槽骨角度变化进行分析。结果:在水平方向上,HGAC组和Twin-block组中切牙切缘均发生舌侧移动,而HGAC组根尖发生舌侧移动,Twin-block组根尖发生唇向移动;在垂直方向上,所有患者中切牙切缘均发生向下移动,根尖发生向上移动,但HGAC组切缘垂直方向向下移动较少,根尖垂直方向向上移动较多。HGAC组多数位点牙槽骨厚度增加,而Twin-block组唇侧牙槽骨厚度均减少,腭侧牙槽骨厚度增加。2组牙槽骨总厚度均增加,但Twin-block组牙槽骨总厚度增加更多,HGAC组牙槽骨角度减小更多。结论:2种功能矫治器均可使上切牙区牙槽骨发生积极的生长改建。HGAC在对上切牙实现控制性倾斜内收的同时,可使切牙有一定程度的压入,同时使上切牙区牙槽骨生长角度发生一定变化,而这种变化有利于改善Ⅱ类骨面型。Twin-block可使上切牙倾斜内收,提示在Twin-block功能矫治后行固定正畸内收前牙时,需更加注意前牙转矩的控制。 展开更多

Crustal block rotations in Chinese mainland revealed by GPS measurements 被引量:3

We simulate GPS horizontal velocity field in terms of rotations of crustal blocks to describe deformation behavior of the Chinese mainland and its neighboring areas. 31 crustal blocks are bounded primarily by -30 Quaternary faults with distinct geometries and variable long-term rates of 〈20 mm/a, and 1 683 GPS velocities were determined from decade-long observations mostly with an averaged uncertainty of 1-2 mm/a. We define GPS velocity at a site by the combination of motion of rigid block and elastic strain induced by the fault that is locking during a seismic cycle. Model velocities predicted from the preferable block model match well with the GPS velocities to an uncertainty of-l.7mm/a. The slip rates inferred from this model is in a range of 6-18 mm/a for the major faults in Tibet and its margins and 1-4 mm/a in eastern China, consistent with geological observations. Our numerical simulation suggests that the crustal blocks deform internally at a level of-10× 10^-9/a, quite small in comparison with significant deformation localized along fault zones of 50-100 km wide. We conclude that the pattern of continental deformation is not continuous-like but block-like, and the tenet of plate tectonics may be applicable to characterize the active deformation in Asia. 展开更多

Both bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP2) and the wingless-type MMTV integration site(WNT)/p-catenin signalling pathway play important roles in odontoblast differentiation and dentinogenesis.Cross-talk between BMP2 and WNT/p-catenin in osteoblast differentiation and bone formation has been identified.However,the roles and mechanisms of the canonical WNT pathway in the regulation of BMP2 in dental pulp injury and repair remain largely unknown.Here,we demonstrate that BMP2 promotes the differentiation of human dental pulp cells(HDPCs) by activating WNT/p-catenin signalling,which is further mediated by p38mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) in vitro.BMP2 stimulation upregulated the expression of p-catenin in HDPCs,which was abolished by SB203580 but not by Noggin or LDN193189.Furthermore,BMP2 enhanced cell differentiation,which was not fully inhibited by Noggin or LDN193189.Instead,SB203580 partially blocked BMP2-induced p-catenin expression and cell differentiation.Taken together,these data suggest a possible mechanism by which the elevation of p-catenin resulting from BMP2 stimulation is mediated by the p38 MAPK pathway,which sheds light on the molecular mechanisms of BMP2-mediated pulp reparative dentin formation. 展开更多
