Objective:To review the possible mechanism and clinical application of the main components of Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae)in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease,and provide a certain theoretical basis for the pre...Objective:To review the possible mechanism and clinical application of the main components of Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae)in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease,and provide a certain theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy with Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae).Methods:This study viewed on etiology and pathogenesis,main components and pharmacology,and mechanismd of Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae);Researched on clinical study on prevention and treatment of Diabetic kidney disease.Results:The mechanism of Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae)was reducing urinary protein,regulating lipid metabolism,regulating the expression of fibrosis-related factors and improving expression of inflammatory chemokines.It had the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying,eliminating carbuncle and discharging pus,diuretic and relieving stranguria.Conclusion:The literatures studied have proved that Yuxingcao(Herba Houttuyniae)has antibacterial,antiviral,antioxidant,anti-infammatory,diuretic,antitumor and other effects.It is one of the common used herbal medicines for diabetic kidney disease.展开更多

In this study, orthogonal experimental design was used to investigate the influencing facto...The change of drug quality of Yuxingcao injection after formulation is considered as one of the causes for adverse reactions. In this study, orthogonal experimental design was used to investigate the influencing factors on the pH stability of Yuxingcao injection. Two methods of accelerated tests were carried out in the experiments. The results showed that using Tween 80 as the solubilizer could significantly decrease the pH value of Yuxingcao injection after accelerated tests. There was no significant difference in the pH value after the accelerated tests when the other 6 factors varied, including the type of liquid processed, the dosage of activated carbon, heating temperature, reagents for pH adjustment, pH value range after adjustment, and sterilization conditions. In order to improve the quality stability of Yuxingcao injection, the quality of Tween 80 should be strictly controlled to minimize the change of pH value of Yuxingcao injection.展开更多
