The imines were found to exist as only a single E-isomer at ambient temperature. Interestingly, 1H- and 13C-NMR chemical shifts of the (CH=N) amino group are affected by the type of substituent group (X) on the aryl ring. Furthermore UV and IR Spectra of some of the title compounds are also reported.展开更多
