Two-step am...A new effective process to improve the utilization of industrial fluorosilicic acid of phosphate fertilizer by-product has been investigated to comprehensive application of the silicon and fluorine source. Two-step ammoniation was applied to recover high-quality silica. The recovered silica can be used to hydrothermal synthesize ZSM-5 zeolite without impurity phase contamination, which was confirmed by XRD, TG, SEM, BET and EDS characteristic techniques. It was found that with the increase of SiO_2/Al_2O_3 ratio and the extension of reaction time, the crystal type transform from the orthorhombic to the monoclinic phase. The impurity fluorine content of the recovered SiO_2 from H_2SiF_6 has great influence on the hydrothermal process for ZSM-5 crystal structure formation. Moreover, the increase of fluorine ions content in the hydrothermal process can control the crystal morphology and size of synthesized ZSM-5. Catalytic properties of synthesized HZSM-5 with different SiO_2/Al_2O_3 ratio in transalkylation of toluene and 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene show good and stable catalytic performance. The ZSM-5 synthesized with recovered silica source exhibits similar catalyst life as the performance of small particle size HZSM-5, because the ZSM-5 synthesized with the silica source from industrial hexafluorosilicic acid prefers a thin disk crystal along the b axis direction, which shortens the diffusion distance of generated products.展开更多

The synthesis of ZSM-5 with organic templates was relatively easier than those with inorganic templates and withnut template. SEM results revealed that ZSM-5 synthesized with different templates had different morphologies in similar particle size. Toluene disproportiortation reaction was carried out over the catalyst samples to evaluate the catalytic properties. The results have shown that large crystals which have a correspondingly small external surface showed a high para-xylene selectivity, and the amount of C9^+ and C5^+ was much less than that obtained from zeolite with small crystals.展开更多

The synthesis parameters such as the seed addition amount, the SiOJA1203 ratio, the aluminum source, the feeding addition method, aging, and crystallization were investigated. The structure, morphology and composition of the as-synthesized ZSM-5 zeolite MPs were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle size distribution (PSD) measurements, and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). The SIO2/A1203 ratio of ZSM-5 zeolite MPs was in the range of 20~80. The low seed addition was beneficial to improving the crystallinity and shortening the crystallization time, and the suitable amount of seed was 0.25% (SIO2). The ZSM-5 zeolite MPs synthesized with aluminium nitrate nonahydrate used as the aluminum source exhibited a relatively high crystallinity. An appropriate aging time could eliminate the effect of feeding addition method and effectively adjust particle size. The particle size of ZSM-5 zeolite obtained at an aging time of 20 h was around 2.0 I.tm. Prolonging the aging time appropriately could also shorten the high-temperature crystallization time. The suitable aging time was 24 h, and the relative crystallinity of ZSM-5 zeolite could reach up to 99% after crystallization for 24 h at 180 ℃展开更多

Three solvents dioctyl sebacate(DOS), dibutyl sebacate(DBS) and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate(BMIMBF_4) were investigated and compared; DOS gave better performance. The catalytic performances for thermal decomposition of HDC to HDI using DOS as solvent were then investigated, and the results showed that, under the optimized reaction conditions, i.e.,10 wt%concentration of HDC in DOS, 250 °C temperature, 60 min reaction time, 83.8% yield of HDI had been achieved over Zn–Co/ZSM-5. Decomposition of the intermediate hexamethylene-1-carbamate-6-isocyanate(HMI) over Zn–Co/ZSM-5 in DOS solvent was further studied and the results indicated that yield of HDI from HMI reached to 69.6%(98.6% HDI selectively) at 270 °C, which further increased the yield of the total HDI(HDI_(tol)) to as high as 95.0%. Recycling of catalyst showed that HDI and HMI yield slightly decreased, and by-product yield increased after the catalyst was reused for 4 times. At last possible reaction mechanism was proposed.展开更多

Thermal decomposition of hexamethylene-1,6-dicarbamate (HDC) is a promising approach for indirect utilization of CO2 to produce hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate (HDI). In this work, a green route was developed for the synthesis of HD1 by thermal decomposition of HDC over Co3O4/ZSM-5 catalyst, using chlorobenzene as low boiling point solvent. Different metal oxide supported catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation (IWI), PEG-additive (PEG) and deposition precipitation with ammonia evaporation (DP) methods. Their catalytic performances for the thermal decomposition of HDC were tested. The catalyst screening results showed that Co3O4/ZSM-525 catalysts prepared by different methods showed different performances in the order of Co3O4/ZSM-5 25(PEG) 〉 Co3O4/ZSM-525(IWI) 〉 Co3O4/ZSM-525(DP). The physicochemical properties of Co3O4/ZSM- 52s catalyst were characterized by XRD, FTIR, N2 adsorption-desorption measurements, NH3-TPD and XPS. The superior catalytic performance of Co3O4/ZSM-52S(PEG) catalyst was attributed to its relative surface content of Co3 +, surface lattice oxygen content and total acidity. Under the optimized reaction conditions: 6.5% HDC concentration in chlorobenzene, 1 wt% Co3O4/ZSM-525(PEG) catalyst, 250℃ temperature, 2.5 h time, 800 ml.min 1 nitrogen flow rate and 1.0 MPa pressure, the HDC conversion and HDI yield could reach 100% and 92.8% respectively. The Co3O4/ZSM-525(PEG) catalyst could be facilely separated from the reaction mixture, and reused without degradation in catalytic performance. Furthermore, a possible reaction mechanism was proposed based on the physicochemical properties of the Co3O4/ZSM-5 25 catalysts.展开更多

The first composition synthesis sol-gel was the same as seeds of molar composition and the second one was 12Na2O∶100SiO2∶2Al2O3∶5000H2O at 180 ℃ for 10 h, respectively. XRD shows that the film consists of well-crystallized ZSM-5 zeolite. SEM investigation indicats that the zeolite films on the supports are defect free and the film thickness is approximately 8 μm. The permeances for H2, N2, CH4 and CO2 are 8.94×10-7, 3.27×10-7, 3.9×10-7, 3.14×10-7 and 0.874×10-7 mol·m2·s-1·Pa-1, respectively. The ideal selectivity of membrane at room temperature for H2/CO2, H2/N2, H2/CH4 are 2.84, 2.73 and 2.29, respectively.

文摘A new effective process to improve the utilization of industrial fluorosilicic acid of phosphate fertilizer by-product has been investigated to comprehensive application of the silicon and fluorine source. The ZSM-5 synthesized with recovered silica source exhibits similar catalyst life as the performance of small particle size HZSM-5, because the ZSM-5 synthesized with the silica source from industrial hexafluorosilicic acid prefers a thin disk crystal along the b axis direction, which shortens the diffusion distance of generated products.
文摘ZSM-5 zeolites with similar St/Al ratio were synthesized successfully using various templates [n- butylamine (BTA), tetrapropylammonium bromide (TPABr) and no template (NT)] under hydrothermal conditions, The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, Py-IR and BET surface area measurements in order to understand the template eiTects and the differences between the ZSM-5 santples. The results have shown that large crystals which have a correspondingly small external surface showed a high para-xylene selectivity, and the amount of C9^+ and C5^+ was much less than that obtained from zeolite with small crystals.

文摘A ZSM-5/MOR co-crystalline zeolite was synthesized without using the template. The physico-chemical properties of the zeolite were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM and TPD and then compared with the co-crystalline zeolite synthesized with a template. Analytical results indicated that they were similar in structure and composition. The influences ofpH value and Si/Al ratio on synthesis were studied. It was found that a high pH value or a low Si/AI ratio could provide better environment for mordenite (MOR) crystallization. The zeolites applied as catalysts in naphtha catalytic cracking for producing ethylene and propylene showed outstanding catalytic performance with the total yield of ethylene and propylene reaching 55 m%. The process could achieve most favorable efficiency when the catalyst contained 5 m% of MOR.

文摘ZSM-5 zeolite microparticles (MPs) were synthesized under hydrothermal condition using a low crystal seed addition approach without template. The suitable aging time was 24 h, and the relative crystallinity of ZSM-5 zeolite could reach up to 99% after crystallization for 24 h at 180 ℃

文摘A non-phosgene route for the synthesis of hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate(HDI) was developed via catalytic decomposition of hexamethylene-1,6-dicarbamate(HDC) over Zn–Co bi-metallic supported ZSM-5 catalyst. The catalyst was characterized by FTIR and XRD analyses. At last possible reaction mechanism was proposed.

文摘Hierarchical nano-sized ZSM-5 aggregates were successfully synthesized via a seed-assisted method in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)through a facile one-step crystallization process.Commercial ZSM-5 zeolites with a SiO2/Al2O3 ratio comparable to that of ZSM-5 products were treated with alkali and used as the seed particles. The influences of crystallization conditions were investigated, and the possible synthesis mechanism was proposed.ZSM-5 zeolites with diff erent amounts of CTAB added were characterized using many techniques and evaluated in toluene alkylation with methanol. The results showed that a trace amount of CTAB signifi cantly promoted the crystallization of ZSM-5 zeolite, with the morphology changing from hexagonal-shape crystals to uniform spherical aggregates.CTAB may act as the structure-directing agent and assemble the primary crystallites to generate hierarchical ZSM-5 aggregates. The ZSM-5 zeolite with the smallest primary particles of 50-80 nm exhibited large specific surface area, abundant mesopores, and the greatest microporosity. The hierarchical nano-sized ZSM-5 aggregate showed higher toluene conversion and a longer lifetime without compromising the selectivity to xylene and p-xylene in toluene alkylation with methanol.

文摘Direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide(DSHP)was studied over Pd loaded on HZSM-5 nanosheets(Pd/ZN).Pd nanoparticles with average size of ca.4.3 nm were introduced into the adjacent nanosheet layers(thickness of ca.2.9 nm)by impregnation method.Pd/ZN with theoretical Si/Al molar ratio of 25 showed the highest selectivity for H2O2 among the prepared catalysts, together with highest formation rate of H2O2(38.0 mmol·(g cat)^-1·h^-1),1.9 times than that of Pd supported on conventional HZSM-5 zeolite(Pd/CZ-50).Better catalytic performance of nanosheet catalysts was attributed to the promoted Pd dispersion which promoted H2 dissociation, more BrΦnsted acid sites and stronger metal-support interaction which inhibited the dissociation of O-O bond in H2O2.The embedded structure sufficiently protected the Pd nanoparticles by space confinement which restrained the Pd leaching, leading to a better catalytic stability with 90%activity retained after 3 cycles, which was almost 3 times than that of Pd/CZ-50(30.4%activity retained).

文摘Using rectorite extrudates from calcined rectorite powder as the starting material, a series of ZSM-5/rectorite composites were prepared via the in-situ crystallization method. The physicochemical properties and propylene boosting performance of the resulting samples were characterized by using X-ray diffraction, scan- ning electronic microscopy/energy dispersive spectrometer, N2 adsorption-desorption, and Fourier transformed in/tared spectroscopy of pyndine adsorption, respectively, and assessed by using Daqing atmospheric residue as Iced- stock. The results showed that the ZSM-5/rectorite composites in which the ZSM-5 phase grows inositu as a 2-3 p,m thick layer on rectorite particles have a trimodal microporous-mesoporous-macroporous structure and thus exhibit outstanding propylene boosting performance. Compared with a commercial ZSM-5 incorporated fluid catalytic cracking catalyst, the ZSM-5/rectorite composite incorporated catalyst increased the yield and selectivity of propylene by 2.44% and 5.35%, respectively.

文摘The utilization of CO2 as raw material for chemical synthesis has the potential for substantial economic and green benefits. Furthermore, a possible reaction mechanism was proposed based on the physicochemical properties of the Co3O4/ZSM-5 25 catalysts.
