Electrochemical behaviors of Zn-Fe alloy and Zn-Fe-TiO2 composite electrodeposition in alkaline zincatesolutions were studied respectively by the methods of linear potential sweep and cyclic voltammetry. From the re-sults it can be concluded that Zn shows under potential deposition, Zn-Fe alloy codeposition is anomalous codeposi-tion and Zn-Fe alloy cathode polarization is increased with the introduction of additive. From the view point of elec-trochemistry, the reasons that the content of Fe in the Zn-Fe coating changes with the composition of the electrolyteand the process conditions altering and the relationship between the content of Fe and the appearance of the coatingare interpreted. The cathode polarization of Zn-Fe alloy codeposition is enhanced obviously with addition of additive.In the course of composite electrodeposition, TiO2 has less promotion to electrodeposition of zinc ions than to iron i-ons, while the electrodeposition of iron ions improves the content of TiO2 in composite coating, which is inagreement with the results of process experiments. 展开更多

The formation mechanism of the amorphous Ni-Fe-P coating was studied by analysis of the forming thermodynamics, dynamics, and crystallography of the amorphous alloy. The results show that, in the initial stage of deposition a thin 'crystal epitaxial growth' layer first forms, and then transforms to amorphous gradually. The cross section in Ni-Fe-P coatings by electrolytic etching exhibits a banded structure of alternate dark and light bands. It is proposed that the banded structure is caused by a change in the P content with thickness,which is due to alternated depletion and enrichment of [OH-] in the diffusion layer resulting from the generation and evolution of hydrogen gas. The amorphous Ni-Fe-P coating will be formed in proper composition, high nucleation rate and strongly hindered growth of the crystal nucleus. Amorphous Ni-Fe-P alloys form as islands, and grow up by layer. 展开更多

Cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry were used to investigate theelectrochemical behavior of Pr^(3+) ions in a system of 0.01 mol centre dot dm^(-3) Pr(CH_3SO_3)_3 +0.01 mol centre dot dm^(-3) FeCl_2 + 3.0 mol centre dot dm^(-3) urea + DMSO on a R electrode. Someelectrochemical parameters were measured. Potentiostatic depositions between -1.6 and -2.4 V wereapplied to deposit Pr-Fe films in urea-DMSO mixed solution. The Pr content in the alloy films was inthe range of 34.89 wt. percent to 37.15 wt. percent. The Pr-Fe alloy films are proven to beamorphous by XRD (X-ray diffraction). 展开更多

The cyclic voltametry and potentiostatic electrolysis was used to investigate the preparation of Bi-Fe alloy films in LiClO4-DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) system. The effects of several factors including the potential of deposition, current density and concentration of iron and bismuth in the solution on the Fe content in the alloy deposits were studied. Experimental results indicated that the amorphous alloy films of Bi-Fe containing Fe 4.40wt%-33.67wt% could be prepared by controlling the system composition and deposition conditions. They were gray, uniform, metallic luster and adhered firmly to the copper substrates analyzed by EDS, SEM and XRD. After heat treatment of crystallization at 270℃ for 1h, the crystal phase of Bi-Fe can be found in XRD patterns. 展开更多

Experimental results indicate that the reductions of Fe(Ⅱ) to Fe(0) and Er(Ⅲ) to Er(0) were irreversible at Pt and Cu electrodes. The diffusion coefficient and the electron transfer coefficient of Fe(Ⅱ) in a 0 01 mol/L FeCl 2 0 1 mol/L LiClO 4 DMSO system at 303 K were 1 70×10 -10 m 2/s and 0 08 respectively, the diffusion coefficient and the electron transfer coefficient of Er(Ⅲ) in a 0 01 mol/L ErCl 3 0 1mol/L LiClO 4 DMSO system at 303 K were 1 47×10 -10 m 2/s and 0 108 respectively. The homogeneous, strong adhesive Er Fe alloy films containing Er of 31 39%-42 12% in mass fraction with metallic lustre were prepared by potentiostatic electrolysis on a Cu electrode in a ErCl 3 FeCl 2 LiClO 4 DMSO system at -1 75--2 50 V( vs . A new technique of electroplating amorphous Fe-Ni-W alloy deposits was proposed.The structure and morphology o Fe-Ni-W alloy deposit were detected by XRD and SEM.The friction and wear behavior of Fe-Ni-W alloy deposit were studied and compared with that of chromium deposit.The corrosion properties against 5% sodium chloride,5% sulfuric acid and 5% sodium hydroxide were also discussed.The experimental results indicate that Fe-Ni-W alloy deposits have superior properties against wea than hard chromium deposits under dry sliding condition.Under oil sliding condition,except their better wear resistance,the deposits can protect their counterparts against wear.The deposits plated on brass and AISI 1045 steel show good behavior against corrosion o 5% sodium chloride,5% sulfuric acid and 5% sodium hydroxide.The bath of electroplating amorphous Fe-Ni-W alloy deposits is environmentally friendly and would find widely use in industry. 展开更多

The magnetic properties, structure defects of electrodeposited Fe-Ni-P alloys with various compositions and the thermostability at amorphous state have been studied by DSC, positron annihilation and electronic integrating instrument methods. The results show that the thermostability of amorphous Fe-Ni-P alloys increases with Fe content. Emergence and recrystallization of stable phases defer as the P content of the coating increases. The minimum H-c, B-r and P-h occur at 9.4 P (wt pet) content. Maximum H-c, B-r and P-h occur at the weight ratio of Fe to Ni equaling to 1/9. 展开更多

The microstructures, friction and wear behavior under dry sliding condition of electrodeposited amorphous Fe-Co-W alloy deposits heat treated at different temperatures were studied. A comparative study of hard chrome deposit under the same testing condition was also made. The experimental results show that the hardness and wear resistance of amorphous Fe-Co-W alloy deposits are improved with the increasing of heat treatment temperature, and reach the maximum value at 800 ℃, then decrease above 800 ℃. Under 40 N load, the wear resistance properties of the alloy deposits heat treated at 800 ℃ are superior to those of hard chrome deposit. The main wear mechanisms of amorphous Fe-Co-W alloy deposits heat treated below 600 ℃ are peeling, plastic and flowing deformation; when the deposits are heat treated above 700 ℃, they are plastic and flowing deformation. While the main wear mechanisms of hard chrome are abrasive wear, fatigue and peeling. 展开更多

Ni-Co-Fe2O3 composite coatings were electrodeposited using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)-modified Watt's nickel bath with Fe2O3 particles dispersed in it.The effects of the plating parameters on the chemical composition,structural and morphological characteristics of the electrodeposited Ni-Co-Fe2O3 composite coatings were investigated by energy dispersive X-ray(EDS) spectroscopy,X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results reveal that Fe2O3 particles can be codeposited in the Ni-Co matrix.The codeposition of Fe2O3 particles with Ni-Co is favoured at high Fe2O3 particle concentration and medium stirring,and the deposition of Co is favoured at high concentration of CTAB.Moreover,the study of the textural perfection of the deposits reveals that the presence of particles leads to the worsening of the quality of the observed <220> preferred orientation.Composites with high concentration of embedded particles exhibit a preferred crystal orientation of <111>.The more the embedded Fe2O3 particles in the metallic matrix,the smaller the sizes of the crystallite for the composite deposits. 展开更多

为了从理论上揭示负二价的硫族化合物抑氢剂提高Zn-Fe合金电镀电流效率的本质,采用电化学方法研究了抑氢剂对锌、铁分电流曲线,电极/溶液界面间双电层微分电容的影响,并运用金属的价电子理论阐述了抑氢剂提高Zn-Fe合金电镀电流效率的机... 为了从理论上揭示负二价的硫族化合物抑氢剂提高Zn-Fe合金电镀电流效率的本质,采用电化学方法研究了抑氢剂对锌、铁分电流曲线,电极/溶液界面间双电层微分电容的影响,并运用金属的价电子理论阐述了抑氢剂提高Zn-Fe合金电镀电流效率的机理。结果表明抑氢剂的加入使铁沉积的分电流增加,在阴极电流密度为0.20A/dm2时,铁的分电流增加最大,由0.10A/dm2增至0.14A/dm2。抑氢剂选择性化学吸附于铁电极表面的活性点上,明显降低了电极/溶液界面间的微分电容,当抑氢剂浓度从0增加至20mL/L时,双电层微分电容由20.3μF/cm2很快下降至7.0μF/cm2。抑氢剂中显负电性的元素硫比氢原子提供电子的能力强,与铁共享孤对电子,优先吸附于铁电极表面的活性点上,阻碍氢原子的吸附,提高氢气的析出过电势,从而提高Zn-Fe合金电沉积的阴极电流效率。Zn价电子已满,含有孤对电子的硫族化合物不能在其表面发生化学吸附,故抑氢剂对纯Zn电镀的阴极电流效率影响不大。 展开更多

为了获得光亮、致密和耐蚀性好的Zn-Fe-La三元合金镀层,试验研究了氯化物体系中电沉积Zn-Fe-La三元合金的工艺条件。通过考察镀液成分、pH值、添加剂、稀土盐对合金镀层的影响,确立适宜的镀液配方和工艺条件。结果表明,最佳配方及工艺条... 为了获得光亮、致密和耐蚀性好的Zn-Fe-La三元合金镀层,试验研究了氯化物体系中电沉积Zn-Fe-La三元合金的工艺条件。通过考察镀液成分、pH值、添加剂、稀土盐对合金镀层的影响,确立适宜的镀液配方和工艺条件。结果表明,最佳配方及工艺条件:60~120g/LFeSO4·7H2O,30~50g/LZnCl2·7H2O,4~10g/LLaCl3,10g/LC6H8O7·H2O,40g/LC6H5Na3O7·2H2O,100g/LKCl,2g/L抗坏血酸,6g/L苄叉丙酮,7mL/LZF光亮剂,2g/L聚乙二醇(分子量大于6000),pH值为3,施镀时间10min,电流密度Jc=3.5A/dm2,室温。在该工艺条件下,可在水溶液中电沉积出稀土含量为4.61%的Zn-Fe-La三元合金。同时,稀土的加入能改变镀层成分,增大合金电沉积的阴极极化,同时镀层的耐蚀性较Zn-Fe合金镀层提高了约1倍。 展开更多

Fe-Ni-Co合金箔是过渡金属合金的一种重要类型,在储氢和磁性材料领域具有巨大的应用前景。本研究在氨基磺酸盐-氯化物电镀液体系中,采用电沉积法在纯钛基底上制备出铁基Fe-Ni-Co合金箔,考察pH值、温度、电流密度、超声波功率对Fe-Ni-Co合金箔的形貌、化学成分、晶体结构的影响。结果表明,当pH=2.0、温度为60℃、电流密度为50 mA/cm^(2)、超声波功率为45 W时,合金箔表面平整且气孔较少,杂质元素含量低,截面成分分布较均匀;合金是以Ni为溶剂、Fe和Co为溶质的置换型固溶体,为面心立方的γ-(Fe, Ni)相,硬度及耐腐蚀性能均较好。 展开更多
