Marx and Engles also pointed out the duality of the conquest, change and influence exerted on nature by man. On one hand, it can improve people’s living conditions and make people free from the enslavement of the nature. On the other hand, it may also lead to excessively snatching and wrecking nature, then make the deterioration of the environment and ecology out of balance. They also, from the technical angle of ecology, put forward the concrete measures to realize the harmonious symbiosis of man and nature in the development of economy. They also believed that only when socialism or communism is realized, can the conciliation of mankind and nature be realized finally. Marx and Engle’s theory of harmonious symbiosis of man and nature is of great theoretical directive significance for us to insist on the scientific development view.展开更多

The humanity is not always there, and they come from natural world and are long-term development products of the nature. Man has the undeniable dependence on the nature, but this kind of dependence is not the negative adaptation and is that the humanity has the huge motility to the nature. It should correctly process the relation between man and nature, and realize positive cycle and coordinated development between natural ecology and human society. It has the significant theory value and the practical significance for human society's sustainable development to grasp and comprehend scientific connotation of Marx's theory of man and nature.展开更多

In the face of these problems, the medical concept has been re-examined and re-thought. The concept of the holistic view of the unity of nature and man in traditional Chinese medicine has certain enlightenment for dealing with the problems in the current medical development. Based on the holistic view of the unity of nature and man, the overall connection between human’s heart and body and nature is explained, and the further construction of TCM psychosomatic medicine is conducive to guiding the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases, and providing new enlightenment for the current medical concept thinking and clinical disease research.展开更多

To illustrate this point, this paper thinks The Woman Warrior and Ballad of Eternal Sorrow are two significant texts: Ballad of Eternal Sorrow tells an ordinary, self-respecting, and life-respecting story of WANG Qi-yao and the girls like her as well as the city Shanghai. They blend into one harmonious whole: The city is like the girls and the girls match the city. Likewise, The Woman Warrior highlights the significance of naturc on the girl narrator's epiphany and healthy growth. Human being should not violate the eco-rule. However, human being can make eco-systemsupply suit economic growth and its speed through systematical innovation and restriction of human economic activityand choice. Through technological innovation, efficiency satisfaction of unit resource can be increased; structure andfunction of eco-system can be perfected; supply capability of eco-system can be improved. To build the harmonioussociety, human should consider the reasonable distribution of limited resources from two sides. The first one is that theutilization of two functions of resource supply and pollution purification to nature should not exceed its special supplycapability formed under its special structure and function states, i.e. harmony between man and nature. The second sideis human being should think over the reasonable and effective distribution of limited resources in economic society, i.e.harmony between human beings and society. The reasonable economic activity of human being is the key to the harmo-nious development of man and nature.展开更多

It is required as a component of the energy metabolism,kinase/phosphatase signaling and in the formation and function of lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids and,at systemic level,it plays a key role for normal skeletal and dentin mineralization. Pi represents an abundant dietary element and its intestinal absorption is efficient, minimally regulated and typically extends to approximately 70%. Maintenance of proper Pi homeostasis is a critical event and serum Pi level is maintained within a narrow range through an elaborate network of humoral interactions and feedback loops involving intestine, kidney, parathyroid gland and bone, and depends on the activity of a number of hormones, including parathyroid hormone,1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D,and fibroblast growth factor 23 as major regulators of Pi homeostasis. Notably,Pi intake seemingly continues to increase as a consequence of chronic high-phosphorus(P) diets deriving from the growing consumption of highly processed foods, especially restaurant meals, fast foods, and convenience foods. Several recent reports have generated significant associations between high-P intake or high-serum Pi concentration and morbidity and mortality. Many chronic diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, obesity and even cancer have been proposed to be associated with high-P intakes and high-serum Pi concentrations. On the other hand, there is also evidence that Pi can have antiproliferative effects on some cancer cell types, depending on cell status and genetic background and achieve additive cytotoxic effects when combined with doxorubicin, illustrating its potential for clinical applications and suggesting that up-regulating Pi levels at local sites for brief times, might contribute to the development of novel and cheap modalities for therapeutic intervention in some tumours. Overall, the influence of Pi on cell function and the possible relationship to cancer have to be fully understood and investigated further.展开更多
