This method is a very effective one with the characteristic of high calculating speed and small memory needed because the formulae for this explicit finite element method have the characteristic of decoupling, and which does not need to solve sys-tem of linear equations. The method is applied to analyze the dynamic response of a reservoir with considering the dynamic interactions among water, dam, sediment and basement rock. The vertical displacement at the top point of the dam is calculated and some conclusions are given.展开更多

It is too easy to choose the shape of openings from regular shape whether it is circular or rectangular shape. The presence of openings in the web of steel beams decreases stiffness of the beam and introducing a larger deflection than in the steel web opening with solid opening. A steel beam with web opening is analyzed in this paper. ABAQUS software is using for analyzing nonlinear static and dynamic opening of steel beam with different position and supporting conditions.展开更多

SD nonlinear structural simulation is completed by means of dynamic explicit finite element method. Analysis results prove that the mechanical structure is feasible substantially, the material of outer surfaces near striking and overstress position should be improved and measures should be taken to avoid parts high temperature. In the process of building this bearing FEM, the following parameters have been well considered, such as boundary conditions, friction, contaction, loads and so on. Through simulation, the corresponding equivalent stress nephograms and acceleration of nodes on the inner ring raceway has been obtained. According to features of acceleration which occurs neighbor to fault pit, bearing's fault diagnosis has been realized. This paper provides a new way in monitoring bearing status and diagnosing fault of bearing.展开更多
