Degraded Characteristics of Absorption Solution of Lampblack Waste Gas by Biological Contact Oxidation Process

We got the sludge from secondary sedimentation tank of wastewater treatment plant. After cultivation by simulating aerobic biological reactor for 30 days,the biofilm system that could degrade the oleaginous materials of absorption solution spraying lampblack waste gas was successfully obtained. From different influent concentration and temperature experiments,it was shown that the degradation efficiency of the oleaginous materials was the most,when the influent concentration and the temperature of the biological contact oxidation reactor were 300 mg/L and35 ℃,especially the effluent concentration and the degradation efficiency of the oleaginous materials was 51 mg/L and 83%. The modified Michaelis-Menten equation was used to analyze the data,and the kinetics parameters were obtained: K_m=( 164. 867 ± 0. 001) mg/L; vmax=( 0. 595 ±0. 001) mg/( L·min). 展开更多

A solution cooling absorption(SCA)approach is proposed to modify the aqueous ammonia absorption refrigerat-ion cycle using the strong solution from the absorber to cool the forepart of the absorption in the cycle for reclaiming some portion of absorption heat.As a consequence of raised temperature at the inlet,the strong solution partially boils at the outlet of the solution heat exchanger,and diminishes the thermal heat consumption of the heat source.The calculation results show that the coefficient of performance(COP)of this modified cycle is about 28.3% higher than that of the traditional cycle under typical conditions;while the required heat transfer area of the total heat exchangers of the cycle is somewhat less than that of the traditional one.The capacity of refrigeration with the new absorption cycle is more than doubled in contrast to the adsorption scheme with an identical configuration.It is sufficient to supply a fishing boat the chilling capacity for preservation of fishing products with the modified cycle chiller driven by its diesel engine exhaust. 展开更多

The acid gas absorption in four potassium based amino acid salt solutions was predicted using artificial neural network(ANN). Two hundred fifty-five experimental data points for CO_2 absorption in the four potassium based amino acid salt solutions containing potassium lysinate, potassium prolinate, potassium glycinate, and potassium taurate were used in this modeling. Amine salt solution's type, temperature, equilibrium partial pressure of acid gas, the molar concentration of the solution, molecular weight, and the boiling point were considered as inputs to ANN to prognosticate the capacity of amino acid salt solution to absorb acid gas. Regression analysis was employed to assess the performance of the network. Levenberg–Marquardt back-propagation algorithm was used to train the optimal ANN with 5:12:1 architecture. The model findings indicated that the proposed ANN has the capability to predict precisely the absorption of acid gases in various amino acid salt solutions with Mean Square Error(MSE) value of 0.0011, the Average Absolute Relative Deviation(AARD) percent of 5.54%,and the correlation coefficient(R^2) of 0.9828. 展开更多

The GC determination of aldehydes and ketones in stack gas was reported. The stack gas was collected with the dust sampler by isokinetic sampling technique, 2,4 dinitrophenylhydrazine in acidic solution was used to absorb aldehydes and ketones in stack gas specifically, to form their hydrazones, which were determined by GC with a capillary column of SE 54. The GC system can separate nine hydrazones of carbonyls interested with constant recovery rates of 94%—97%, giving lowest detectable limits of 0 05—1 0 ng. The standard gas of carbonyls were determined by this method with relative errors of -5% to -10%, percent coefficients of variation within 5%, and spiking recovery rates of 93%—97%. As an application of the method, the carbonyl pollutants were determined in stack gas samples of a chemical plant. 展开更多
