Based on the actual case of the integration of the party branch construction of the Institute of Targeted Poverty Alleviation and Development of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and the construction of a third-party evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation,this paper elaborated the practical significance and integration path design of the grassroots party construction and targeted poverty alleviation thirdparty evaluation team construction in colleges and universities. Besides,it analyzed the typical case of the party branch in the process of building the party branch of the ' double leader' teachers in the national colleges and universities,and vigorously implementing the development of the party branch construction and the third-party evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation,and promoting double integration and double promotion. Finally,it came up with recommendations for further strengthening the development of the party branch construction and the thirdparty evaluation team for targeted poverty alleviation( including strengthening the party construction responsibility,promoting the solid foundation,promoting deep integration,strengthening mutual promotion,gathering poverty alleviation talents,and strengthen intellectual support),so as to form a new model of poverty alleviation through party construction and practicing the lofty purpose of serving the poor household wholeheartedly,and provide a useful reference for the grassroots party construction in China to promote poverty alleviation. 展开更多

Acquisition of Knowledge and Skills about Delivery by Self-Evaluation of Midwifery Students Using the Labor and Delivery Assistance Evaluation Sheets

Aim: This study aims to clarify the current state of advancement of knowledge and skills in the educational process from self-assessments by midwifery student labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets. Method: Metrology is an observational and retrospective study. Self-assessments in labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets of midwifery students registered in an advanced midwifery course at Nursing College A from Apr. 2017 to Mar. 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The end-points were every score of six classifications: health checkups and assessments of women who give birth, preparations for labor and delivery assistance, delivery assistance in the parturient second stage, delivery assistance in the parturient third and fourth stages, midwifery process, and the training manner. Moreover, they also included the scores of 64 evaluation items belonging to any of the six classifications and a comprehensive evaluation score in which students judged the acquisition of all knowledge and skills of delivery assistance. In addition, although not on the evaluation sheet, the average score of all 64 evaluation items was also included. The evaluation criteria were five levels, from one to five. The end-points were examined by comparing the experiences of delivery assistances in two periods of Results: 80 among 91 evaluation sheets from eight out of nine students were analyzed. The average score of all 64 evaluation items, every score of the six classifications, and the comprehensive evaluation score was significantly elevated in the experience periods of 6 ≤ times (P Conclusion: Training in adaptation and enforcement of amniotomy and assistance skills for lacerations sutures will be needed in future educational challenges. Self-assessment scores by midwifery students in labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets were significantly elevated in the experience periods of 6 ≤ times. 展开更多

Motivation has been found to play a major role in determining student performance in the academic process. The aim of this study is to identify the intrinsic & extrinsic motivational factors among medical students in the University of Sharjah. A Cross Sectional Study was conducted among university students of medical colleges in the period between February 2011 and March 2011. A total of 452 students (337 females and 115 males) were selected using the Quota sampling method equally between each college. A self-administered questionnaire consisting of 13 demographic questions, an agreement scale of 32 questions about the motivational factors and an open ended question asking students about what the university can do to help motivate them were developed. The most common intrinsic factors chosen by students were grade expectation (94%), interest in material (92%) and leading an honorable life (88%). While on the other hand the most common extrinsic factors were upcoming exams (88%), family expectations (88%) and praise (82%). The most common factors were similar between all students regardless of their major, gender, or performance. However, differences were visible in other factors such as in high performing students; rewards scored a 71.4% while low performing students scored it at 50%. It also shows that females consider praise as an important factor (86%) on the contrary males gave it a 72%. While the most common intrinsic factors showed to be grades, interest in material and leading an honorable life, the most common extrinsic factors on the other hand were upcoming exams, family expectations and praise. 展开更多

地方高校教师学术评价的困局、变局和破局
