Study on the Current Situation of the Public Dance Course Teaching in General Colleges and Universities

The purpose of this paper is to build a three-dimensional public dance teaching network from both forms and contents. Public dance course is a selective course, which is established for training the high-quality personnel demanded by the modernized construction of socialism, and plays an irreplaceable role in improving the aesthetic quality, cultivating the innovative spirit and practice ability, and shaping a healthy personality. On this basis, the current situation of the public dance teaching in general colleges and universities is investigated by taking the public dance teaching in Guangxi Normal University as an example and using the methods such as document literature, questionnaire survey, and interview, and the specific situation of the dance teaching in general colleges and universities is analyzed, and also corresponding strategies and suggestions are proposed.

Performance on the 2011 Certified Public Accountant （CPA） Examination for Large, Middle, and Small Historically Black Colleges and Universities （HBCUs）

There are over 100 historically black colleges and universities （HBCUs） in the United States. The majority of these HBCUs are located in the southeast section of the United States. HBCUs are a major supplier of certified public accountants （CPAs） to the profession. Therefore, the performance of candidates from HBCUs should be of interest to various constituents including educators, employers, parents, students, and other stakeholders. The purpose of this paper is to provide statistical performance on the 2011 CPA examination for large, middle, and small HBCUs based upon the number of testing events taken. Taking a testing event is not the same as passing a testing event. This was the dichotomy between quantity and quality of HBCUs＇ performances. For large HBCUs, Morehouse University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University （NC A＆T）, and Tennessee State University （TSU） were cited. For middle HBCUs, Albany State University, Norfolk State University （NSU）, and North Carolina Central University （NCCU） were cited. For small HBCUs, Alcorn State University, Fisk University, and University of Maryland Eastern Shore （UMES） were cited. The dichotomy between quantity and quality is real.

Development and construction of China's higher education libraries

This article aims to make an introduction to the construction of China's higher education libraries, especially the recent three decades' achievements since China's reform and opening-up in 1978. In this article, the authors draw a general picture of the development of libraries in China's higher education institutions, covering such eight aspects as management, types and positioning,organizational structure and personnel, expenditure and buildings, reader service, building and sharing of resources as well as automation system.

高校内部治理是高校治理的重要环节,关系着高等教育的质量和水平。科层制模式下,高校内部治理存在着政府外部行政权传导的高校内部行政权与高校办学自主权之间的矛盾、高校内部学术权力与行政权力之间的矛盾、学生组织与学校党政职能部门之间的矛盾,并表现为人事治理症结、财务治理症结、合同治理症结。究其原因,法治保障的缺乏、行政权力的过分倚重、机构权责不清、监督机制缺乏是高校内部治理矛盾和症结的成因。因此,必须从积极推进依法治校、优化高校内部权力配置、摒弃落后的管理理念与习惯、实现多元主体的治理动能等层面予以疏解。

将“四史”教育融入公安院校忠诚文化建设的思考

公安院校的思想政治教育一直有其独到的特色,“忠诚教育”是其中的一个重要的组成部分。新中国成立以来的公安院校,“忠诚”养成在各个时期都有其独到的表现,但长久以来也普遍存在对该项教育的理解比较僵化,缺少与时代、与历史相互融合的问题,在一定程度上影响了忠诚文化在校园中的建设。结合时代特征,积极响应党的号召,紧密联系当代警校学员的思想现状,融入“四史”教育不仅是忠诚文化建设的要求,也符合公安院校文化建设的现实需要。

医学院校公共体育“2+2”课程模式对学生体质健康水平的影响

本文旨在探讨医学院校公共体育“2+2”课程模式对学生体质健康水平的影响。本研究在桂林医学院2019级新生中抽取300人作为实验对象,分为对照组和实验租,每组150人。对照组采用传统的体育教学方式,实验组采用2年课内体育教学+2年课外体育自主锻炼为基本形式的公共体育“2+2”课程模式,教学中以《国家学生体质健康标准》测试作为硬性要求,以体育学习评价作为弹性驱动。本实验采用文献研究法、数据分析法评估实验前后医学生体质健康水平的变化,结果显示,实验组的肺活量、速度和耐力等体质健康测试成绩均高于对照组,说明公共体育“2+2”课程模式对提高医学生的体质健康水平具有积极作用。据此建议,医学院校公共体育教学应按照“学、练、赛、评”的原则,持续优化公共体育“2+2”课程教学模式,以便更加高效提高学生的体质健康水平。
