The generality to anisotropy of the earth media can be proved by a lot of research and observation, which is shown by the elastic parameters of the seismic wave changes with the direction of propagation. Actually, computational efficiency is very low, when simulating on the elastic anisotropie media, for the complicated and multi-parameters computation, which becomes a disadvantage to the succeeding migration and imaging pro-cedure. Using acoustic approximation in the VT[ media is an advisable simplification for the elastic wave simu-lation in that setting S-velocity into zero can greatly reduce the computational amount as well as get the same simulation effect. The authors get an acoustic approximation formula, then gain an anisotropic wave equation with 2-order in time and 4-order in space by inverse Fourier transformation, and dispel with the dispersion by adopting the high order finite difference operator in space and remove the edge reflection using the absorption attenuation boundary. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of this algorithm can be proved by the snaps and synthetic records. 展开更多

It leads to a non-standard eigenvalue problem. A finite element approximation is considered in an abstract way, and the approximate eigenvalue problem is written in an operator form by means of some Ritz projections. The order of convergence is proved based on the result of Babugka and Osborn. Some numerical example is shown for the problem for which the exact analytical solutions are calculated. The results shows that the convergence order is consistent with the one by the numerical analysis. 展开更多

The anechoic performance and mechanism of underwater elastic spherical shell covered with coating are studied at low frequencies. The acoustic cloak is anisotropic material, which can be designed with homogeneous isotropic materials on the basis of effective medium approximation theory. The analytic expression of scattering acoustic field from the shell covered with multilayered medium is formulated and the scattering form function, resonance mode, acoustic field distribution are computed, the scattering characteristics and mechanism of transmission are analyzed. The results show that the direction of sound transmission inside the multilayered medium is changed, the acoustic field is deflected gradually, and the acoustic energy flux is guided around the target, which reduces the scattering intensity at low frequencies, the acoustic intensity of target's surface is very weak.Excepting the first resonance peak in spectrum produced by the zero order partial wave, the other resonance modes of elastic spherical shell are not excitated and the multilayered medium can suppress the resonance of the spherical shell effectively. 展开更多

Imposing appropriate numerical boundary conditions at the symmetrical center r=0 is vital when computing compressible fluids with radial symmetry.Extrapolation and other traditional techniques are often employed, but spurious numerical oscillations or wall-heating phenomena can occur. In this paper,we emphasize that because of the conservation property, the updating formula of the boundary cell average can coincide with the one for interior cell averages. To achieve second-order accuracy both in time and space,we associate obtaining the inner boundary value at r=0 with the resolution of the corresponding one-sided generalized Riemann problem(GRP).Acoustic approximation is applied in this process. It creates conditions to avoid the singularity of type 1/r and aids in obtaining the value of the singular quantity using L’Hospital’s rule.Several challenging scenarios are tested to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our approach. 展开更多
