Multi-aperture optical imaging systems and their mathematical light field acquisition models

Inspired by the compound eyes of insects,many multi-aperture optical imaging systems have been proposed to improve the imaging quality,e.g.,to yield a high-resolution image or an image with a large field-ofview.Previous research has reviewed existing multi-aperture optical imaging systems,but few papers emphasize the light field acquisition model which is essential to bridge the gap between configuration design and application.In this paper,we review typical multi-aperture optical imaging systems(i.e.,artificial compound eye,light field camera,and camera array),and then summarize general mathematical light field acquisition models for different configurations.These mathematical models provide methods for calculating the key indexes of a specific multiaperture optical imaging system,such as the field-of-view and sub-image overlap ratio.The mathematical tools simplify the quantitative design and evaluation of imaging systems for researchers.

FIRST LANGUAGE ACQUISITION AS A MODEL FOR SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION: THE TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE APPROACH IN SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNING AND TEACHING

L1 and L2 acquisition, in some respects, are similar. Language development in children goes hand in hand with physical and cognitive development. Children learn their first language by imitation, but not always and not only by imitation. There seems to be some "innate capacities" that make children start to speak at the same time they do and in the way they do it. Adults learning a second language usually are controlled more by their motivation. But language input is important for both L1 and L2 acquisition. Though there are differences between CL1 and between CL2 and AL2, the way in which these learners acquire some of the grammatical morphemes is similar. This, together with some other evidence, shows that it is not only children who can acquire language. Adults can also acquire a language. But when adults acquire a language, they should also learn it. Some of the ways in which children acquire their language can be used as a model for L2 acquisition, even for Chinese students whose language is unrelated to English and whose culture is different. Learning the culture of the English-speaking countries will benefit the learning of the language. Like children, listening should also be well in advance of speaking in L2 acquisition. To train listening comprehension skills, Asher’s TPR approach proves more effective. TPR approach is at the moment limited to the beginning stage only. In order for students to gain all the five skills in a second language learning, namely, listening, speaking, reading, writing, and interpreting/translating, other methods should be used at the same time, or at later stages.

Based on Multimedia and Network Social Environment--A study of Pragmatic Acquisition in College English Teaching

With the progress of the times,the number of college students is growing exponentially.But the students who enter the university are various and have their own advantages and disadvantages.Among them,the polarization of students'English level is particularly obvious and serious.Therefore,in view of the contradiction between"not enough to learn"and"unable to learn",this paper makes a preliminary exploration on the pragmatic acquisition mode of College English teaching based on multimedia and network social environment.This paper mainly discusses and analyzes the concept of pragmatic acquisition mode and about how to implement it in practical teaching.In addition,this paper is only for reference in the English teaching industry.

Factors Acquisition and Content Estimation of Farmland Soil Organic Carbon Based upon Internet of Things

Aiming at the shortage of sufficient continuous parameters for using models to estimate farmland soil organic carbon(SOC) content, an acquisition method of factors influencing farmland SOC and an estimation method of farmland SOC content with Internet of Things(IOT) are proposed in this paper. The IOT sensing device and transmission network were established in a wheat demonstration base in Yanzhou Distict of Jining City, Shandong Province, China to acquire data in real time. Using real-time data and statistics data, the dynamic changes of SOC content between October 2012 and June 2015 was simulated in the experimental area with SOC dynamic simulation model. In order to verify the estimation results, potassium dichromate external heating method was applied for measuring the SOC content. The results show that: 1) The estimated value matches the measured value in the lab very well. So the method is feasible in this paper. 2) There is a clear dynamic variation in the SOC content at 0.2 m soil depth in different growing periods of wheat. The content reached the highest level during the sowing period, and is lowest in the flowering period. 3) The SOC content at 0.2 m soil depth varies in accordance with the amount of returned straw. The larger the amount of returned straw is, the higher the SOC content.
