Methods: A total of 80 PCOS patients who received treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine between October 2022 and March 2024 were enrolled in this study. They were randomly divided into a control group (n = 40) and an observation group (n = 40). The control group received conventional Western medical treatments, while the observation group was administered TCM combined with acupoint injection and herbal patch application. Pre- and post-treatment conditions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the overall effective rate was significantly higher in the observation group compared to the control group (P 0.05). Following treatment, both ovulation and pregnancy rates increased in both groups, but the increase was more evident in the observation group, showing a statistically significant difference (P < 0.01). Conclusion: For patients with oligoovulation or anovulation due to PCOS, the combined use of TCM, acupoint injection, and herbal patch application appears to be effective in improving systemic symptoms and achieving notable clinical outcomes.展开更多

In these two groups, the tender point was used as the main acupoint, combined with Taichong (LR 3), Yinbai (SP 1), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Juegu (GB 39), Xuehai (SP 10), etc. 10% Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra) Injection and dexamethasone were used for acupoint injection. Results indicated that in acupoint injection and acupuncture groups, 15 (50.0%) and 9 (30.0%) cases had marked improvement, 12 (40.0%) and 10 (33.3%) were effective, and 3 (10.0%) and 11(36.7%) failed in treatment, with the total effective rats being 90.0% and 63.3% respectively. Statistical analysis shows that acupoint injection is significantly superior to simple acupuncture in the therapeutic effect (P<0.05).展开更多

Methods: Ninety five cases of allergic rhinitis patients were randomized into acupuncture plus acupoint injection group (treatment group, n=40), acupuncture group (control group A, n=30) and muscular injection group (control group B, n=25). Yingxiang (LI 20), Yintang (EX HN 3), Baihui (GV 20), Fengchi (GB 20), Fengmen (BL 12), Feishu (BL 13), etc. were used. Results: Following 20 days’ treatment, of the 40, 30 and 25 cases of allergic rhinitis in treatment, control A and B groups, 16 (40.0%), 8 (26.7%) and 0 were cured, 22 (55.0%), 14 (46.7%) and 4 (16.0%) experienced improvement in their symptoms and signs, and 2 (5.0%), 8 (26.7%) and 21 (84.0%) failed in the treatment, with the effective rates being 95.0%, 73.3% and 16.0% separately. The therapeutic effect of treatment group was significantly superior to those of two control groups (P<0.05, 0.01). Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of acupuncture plus acupoint injection of Injecto Acidi Nucleici et Caseini Hydrolysatis Composita is definite.展开更多

Methods: Totally 116 subjects with AS were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 58 each. The treatment group was intervened by heat-sensitive moxibustion plus acupoint injection, and the control was by oral medication. Therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 3 treatment courses. Results: The markedly effective rate was 38.9% and the total effective rate was 96.6% in the treatment group versus 11.9% and 67.8% in the control group. The markedly effective rate and total effective rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (p〈o.os). Conclusion: Heat-sensitive moxibustion combining with acupoint injection has better therapeutic efficacy than oral medication in treating AS, and it's easy-to-operate without adverse reactions.展开更多
