Results: The total effective rate was 90.0 % in the treatment group and 87.5% in the control group, without a significant difference between the two groups. Lequene & Mery assessment tests had no significant change. Musculus quadriceps femoris isokinetic evaluation improved significantly after the treatment course in the two groups (/9〈0.05), and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with tuina manipulation therapy and Fenbid treatment both can reduce knee pain and joint disability in the short term, though no improvement was shown in the severity of the disease. Acupuncture combined with tuina manipulation therapy is better than Fenbid in improving the strength, total work and explosive force of the musculus quadriceps femoris.
文摘Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture, tuina plus rehabilitative therapy on lower limb motor dysfunction in infants with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods: A total of 60 infants with spastic cerebral palsy were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group by random digital table, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture, tuina therapy plus rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine. The control group was simply treated with rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine, as same as that for the treatment group. The assessment was respectively given to the sick infants before the treatment and after the treatment of six months, to evaluate lying and rolling scores in dimension A, to evaluate sitting score in dimension B, to evaluate crawling and kneeling scores in dimension C, and evaluate standing score in dimension D in the gross motor functions and determine the muscle tone of the gastrocnemius muscle by modified Ashworth scale (MAS). Results: The differences were not statistically significant in comparison of the gross motor functions and the muscle tone of the gastrocnemius muscle between the two groups of sick infants before the treatment (P〉O.OS); after the treatment of six months, the above items were obviously improved in the two groups (P〈O.01), better in the treatment group than in the control group, with the statistical significance in the differences between the groups (P〈O.01). Conclusion: Acupuncture, tuina plus rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine are remarkable in the therapeutic effects in the treatment of motor disorders of the lower limbs in the sick infants with spastic cerebral palsy. This therapeutic method is safe, simple and convenient and needs to be clinically popularized and applied.

文摘Objective:To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture and Tuina treatment for infantile chronic superficial gastritis.Methods:50 cases of patients were treated with acupuncture and Tuina.to observe the changes in the electrogastrograph before and after treatment.10 sessions made one course. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after three courses. Results:The differences in various indexes of the electrogastrograph before and after the treatments were statistically significant(P〈0.01),almost normal, and the clinical symptoms were refieved or disappeared. Conclusion:Acupuncture and Tuina treatment can be used to relieve the clinical symptoms of infantile chronic superficial gastritis and noticeably improve the electrogastrograph of the patients. The electrogastrograph can be used to provide reference to the diagnosis of organic diseases like gastritis and also used in the basic and clinical study of gastric diseases.
文摘The author has treated 120 cases of frozen shoulder from 2004, with the therapy of penetrating needling from Yemen (TE 2) toward Zhongzhu (TE 3), from Tiaokou (ST 38) toward Chengshan (BL 57), and deeply needling Jugu (LI 16), together with Tuina manipulations on shoulder. The summarization is now given as follows.
文摘Summary: Fouty-five cases of temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome were diagnosed by Xray, excluding the organic diseases. The acupoints Xiaguan (ST 7), Jiache (ST 6), Yifeng (TE 17) and Hegu (LI 4) on the affected side were punctured first, after removal of needles, 5-7 layers of cotton cloth was placed on the above acupoints, then moxibustion with moxa-roll made of Chinese medicine was performed. Finally Dian-finger pressing, An-pressing and Rou stationary circular pressing with finger belly of the thumb were applied to the local region around the mandible joint for 3-5 min. After 1-2 courses of treatments, 45 cases all got effect.
文摘Temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome (TMD) is a commonly encountered disease in the oral and maxillofacial region and often occurs in the young and middle-aged adults. The epidemiological study on this disease by domestic scholars showed its incidence rate was 32.0%-57.3% [1-3].
文摘Acupoints Xiaguan (ST 7), Jiache (ST 6), Hegu (LI 4) and Neiting (ST 44) were selected and electroacupuncture, TDP and Tuina were used to treat 60 cases of temporomandibular joint disturbance, all the patients were randomly divided into two groups to compare the therapeutic effect, the results showed the effective rate were 100% and 83% in groups of electroacupuncture, TDP and Tuina, and group of electroacupuncture and Tuina respectively.
