Experimental investigation is performed to investigate the cooling characteristics in the front zone of effusion configuration. Effects of blowing ratio,multi-hole arrangement mode,hole-to-hole pitch and jet orientation angle on the adiabatic film cooling effectiveness are concentrated on. The results show that the film layer displays an obvious"developing"feature in the front zone of effusion cooling scheme,for either the staggered or inline multi-hole arrangement. The varying gradient of the laterally-averaged adiabatic cooling effectiveness along the streamwise direction is greater for the staggered arrangement than that for the inline arrangement. The holes array arranged in staggered mode with small hole-tohole pitches is in favor of obtaining developed film coverage layer rapidly. 展开更多

The problem of how long it takes for an electron to tunnel from one side of a barrier to the other has been debated for decades and the attoclock is a promising experimental procedure to address this problem.In the attoclock experiment,,many physical effects will contribute to the experimental results and it is difficult to extract the t unneling time accurately.We numerically investigate a method of measuring the residual equivalent temporal offset(RETO)induced by the physical effects except for tunneling delay.The Coulomb potential effect,the nonadiabatic effect,the multielectron effect,and the Stark effect are considered in the theoretical model.It is shown that the ratio of the RETO of the target atoms to that of H is insensitive to the wavelength and is linearly proportional to(2IP)^-3/2.This work can help to improve the accuracy of the attoclock technique. 展开更多

Non-Adiabatic Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Non-Charge-Transfer and Charge-Transfer Scattering in H^++CO2 at ELab=30 eV

The H^++CO2 reaction at high energies is relevant in atmospheric chemistry,astrophysics,and proton cancer therapy research.Therefore,we present herein a complete investigation of H^++CO2 at ELab=30 eV with the simplest-level electron nuclear dynamics(SLEND)method.SLEND describes nuclei via classical mechanics and electrons with a singledeterminantal Thouless wavefunction.The 3402 SLEND conducted simulations from 42 independent CO2 target orientations provide a full description of all the reactive processes and their mechanisms in this system:non-charge-transfer scattering(NCTS),charge-transfer scattering(CTS),and single C=O bond dissociation;all this valuable information about reactivity is not accessible experimentally.Numerous details of the projectile scattering patterns are provided,including the appearance and coalescence of primary and secondary rainbow angles as a function of the target orientation.SLEND NCTS and CTS differential cross sections(DCSs)are evaluated in conjunction with advanced semi-classical techniques.SLEND NCTS DCS agrees well with its experimental counterpart at all the measured scattering angles,whereas SLEND CTS DCS agrees well at high scattering angles but less satisfactorily at lower ones.Remarkably,both NCTS and CTS SLEND DCSs predict the primary rainbow angle signatures in agreement with the experiment. 展开更多

Three-dimensional numerical computations are conducted to investigate the effects of the blowing ratio and corrugation geometry on the adiabatic film cooling effectiveness as well as the heat transfer coefficient over a transverse corrugated surface.It is noticeable that the adiabatic wall temperature on the wavy valley of the transverse corrugated surface is relatively lower than that on the wavy peak.Surface corrugation has a relatively obvious influence on the laterallyaveraged adiabatic film cooling effectiveness in the region where the effusion film layer is developed,but has little influence in the front region.Compared to a flat surface,the transverse corrugated surface produces a smaller adiabatic film cooling effectiveness and a higher heat transfer coefficient ratio.The effusion cooling difference between the flat and corrugated surfaces behaves more obviously under a small aspect ratio of the wavy corrugation. 展开更多

A small amount of Ni was added into the binary Gd50Co50 amorphous alloy to replace Gd in order to obtain ternary Co50Gd50-xNx(x=1,2,and 3)amorphous alloys.Compared to the binary Gd50Co50 amorphous alloy,the Co50Gd50-xNx amorphous alloys show an enhanced Curie temperature(TC)with a weakened formability.The maximum magnetic entropy change(-Δ^Smpeak)of the Co50Gd50-xNx amorphous alloys is found to decrease with the increasing TC.The adiabatic temperature rise(ΔTad)of the Co50Gd47Ni3 amorphous alloy is superior to that of the Fe-based metallic glasses at room temperature.The variation of the TC and-Δ^Smpeak of the Gd50Co50 amorphous alloy with Ni addition,and the mechanism involved,were discussed. 展开更多

The adiabatic film effectivenessηof the counter-inclined film-holes fed by varying internal coolant intake on the turbine vane leading edge model was experimentally investigated.A semi-cylinder model was adopted to model the vane leading edge which was arranged with two-row holes,which located at±15°on both sides.The four Leading edge model with the combinations of hole-shape(simple holes and laid-back holes)and intake structure(plenum and impingement)were tested under four blowing ratios M of 0.5,1.0,1.5,and 2.0.Theηcontours were obtained by the transient measurement technique based on double thermochromic liquid-crystals.The results present that theηis sensitive to the M for the four studied leading edge cases.The addition of impingement enhances theηfor the two studied holes.The film jets make the coolant-flow closed to the target surface,resulting in higherηunder lower M.The core with higherηappears in the downstream area of hole-exit.Theηenhancement can be provided to almost the identical level by adding the impingement-holes and improving the hole-exit shaping in most areas.With increasing M,the jets with stronger exit normal momentum penetrate into the main-flow.The impingement addition may be a more effective program to upgrade theηrelatively to the exit shaping under larger M.Besides,the laid-back holes with impingement case produce the highest film cooling performance among the four cases,providing great potential in the leading edge especially under larger M. 展开更多

Recent research progress on magnetocaloric effect of La-Fe-M (M = Al, Si) compounds was presented. La-Fe-M (M = Al, Si) compounds of high Fe content are excellent soft magnetic materials with NaZn13 structure. The Curie temperature of the compounds can be increased by substituting small amount of Co for Si, Al. The La(Fe1-xCoy)(x)Si13-x compounds with an appropriate ratio of Co and Si can produce giant magnetocaloric effect comparable to that for Gd5Si2Ge2 at room temperature. The La (FexSi1-x)(13) doped with H can also produce giant magnetocaloric effect at room temperature, which is much greater than that for Gd. For La (FexSi1-x)(13) compounds with low Si or high Si contents. The nature of phase transition near Curie temperature induced by temperature and magnetic field was described in detail. 展开更多

Numerical simulation of three-dimensional flow field and film cooling effectiveness in film-cooled turbine rotor and stationary turbine cascade were carried out by using the k- ε turbulence model, and the predictions of the three-dimensional velocities were compared with the measured results by Laser-Doppler Velocimetry (LDV). Results reveal the secondary flow near the blade surface in the wake region behind the jet hole. Compared with the stationary cascade, there are the centrifugal force and Coriolis force existing in the flow field of the turbine rotor, and these forces make the three-dimensional flow field change in the turbine rotor, especially for the radial velocity. The effect of rotation on the flow field and the film cooling effectiveness on the pressure side is more apparent than that on the suction side as is shown in the computational and measured results, and the low film cooling effectiveness appears on the pressure surface of the turbine rotor blade compared with that of the stationary cascade. 展开更多
