The existence of remnant particles, which significantly reduce the reliability of relays, is a serious problem for aerospace relays. The traditional method for detecting remnant particles-particle impact noise detection (PIND)-can be used merely to detect the existence of the particle; it is not able to provide any information about the particles' material. However, information on the material of the particles is very helpful for analyzing the causes of remnants. By analyzing the output acoustic signals from a PIND tester, this paper proposes three feature extraction methods: unit energy average pulse durative time, shape parameter of signal power spectral density (PSD), and pulse linear predictive coding coefficient sequence. These methods allow identified remnants to be classified into four categories based on their material. Furthermore, we prove the validity of this new method by processing P1ND signals from actual tests. 展开更多

Aerospace relay is one kind of electronic components which is used widely in national defense system and aerospace system. The existence of remainder particles induces the reliability declining, which has become a severe problem in the development of aerospace relay. Traditional particle impact noise detection (PIND) method for remainder detection is ineffective for small particles, due to its low precision and involvement of subjective factors. An auto-detection method for PIND output signals is proposed in this paper, which is based on direct wavelet de-noising (DWD), cross-correlation analysis (CCA) and homo-filtering (HF), the method enhances the affectivity of PIND test about the small particles. In the end, some practical PIND output signals are analysed, and the validity of this new method is proved. 展开更多

Reliability design is the key technique of electromagnetic relay reliability engineering. This paper synthetically analyzes the present reliability design methods, and presents the reliability tolerance analyzing mathematic models of electromagnetic force basing on orthogonal design, mechanical spring force basing on probability statistics theory, and matching characteristics of electromagnetic force and mechanical spring force basing on method of stressstrength interference. Some instructive conclusions are draw by researching on the reliability tolerance of some type electromagnetic relay in aerospace. 展开更多

The analysis and research on the optimum position of aerospace relay's pushing rodare an important process of aerospace relay reliability design. In the past, most researches weredone for electromagnetic systems and spring systems of aerospace relays. However, there was not anyresearch on the position of the pushing rod. An analytical method for the optimum position ofaerospace relay's pushing rod is presented in this paper. From four aspects, including theelectromagnetic force and torque, work done by the electromagnetic force and displacement, theoptimum position of a pushing rod is investigated based on the analysis of a straight spring system.The conclusions can be used to direct the optimum design and assembling of aerospace relays. 展开更多

Polarized magnetic system has a series of features, such as small volume, light weight, low power consumption, high sensitivity, quick movement and so on, widely used in the products of the military aerospace electromagnetic relay. The typical polarized magnetic system has mainly four structures and its simplified equivalent magnetic circuits model is the base of the design of the electromagnetic relay with permanent magnet. In the past, the analysis method that people used was difficult to build the unified mathematical models, which divided the work gap magnetic flux into "permanent magnet flux" and "electromagnetic flux". Based on the analysis method of the work gap magnetic voltage, this paper founds the unified mathematical model of the polarized magnetic system and divides the attractive torque into permanent magnet torque, polarized torque and electromagnetic torque through the energy balance formula. It analyses the influence of permanent magnet sizes on permanent magnet torque, polarized torque and electromagnetic torque through the energy balance formula and the conclusions can direct the design of aerospace electromagnetic relay with permanent magnet. 展开更多

Aerospace electromagnetic relay is an electric component that has been widely used in aerospace industry.Contact bounce and contact breakaway for initial velocity are the key parameters that have strong influence on reliability and electric life of the relay.Generally,it is difficult to optimize these two parameters simultaneously.In this paper,according to kinetics theory and structural mechanics,a dynamic reaction calculation model of the relay that describes contact bounce and breakaway for initial velocity is proposed.Under the constraints of contact gap and contact force,the optimal combination of debugging parameters is obtained by the application of orthogonal design.It considers the reduction of contact bounce and the augmentation of breakaway for initial velocity as the optimization objectives,and takes the debugging parameters as the optimization variables.All these above ensure the increase of contact breakaway for initial velocity and the decrease of contact bounce simultaneously,and contact arc erosion is also reduced. 展开更多

It is vital to establish an interpretable fault diagnosis model for critical equipment.Belief Rule Base(BRB)is an interpretable expert system gradually applied in fault diagnosis.However,the expert knowledge cannot be utilized to establish the initial BRB accurately if there are multiple referential grades in different fault features.In addition,the interpretability of BRB-based fault diagnosis is destroyed in the optimization process,which reflects in two aspects:deviation from the initial expert judgment and over-optimization of parameters.To solve these problems,a new interpretable fault diagnosis model based on BRB and probability table,called the BRB-P,is proposed in this paper.Compared with the traditional BRB,the BRB-P constructed by the probability table is more accurate.Then,the interpretability constraints,i.e.,the credibility of expert knowledge,the penalty factor and the rule-activation factor,are inserted into the projection covariance matrix adaption evolution strategy to maintain the interpretability of BRB-P.A case study of the aerospace relay is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

Modeling of permanent magnet(PM) is very important in the process of electromagnetic system calculation of aerospace electromagnetic relay(AEMR). In traditional analytical calculation, PM is often equivalent to a lumped parameter model of one magnetic resistance and one magnetic potential, but great error is often caused for the inner differences of PM; based on the conception of flux tube, a type of 2D magnetic equivalent circuit framework of permanent magnet model(2D MECF) is established; the element is defined, the relationship between elements is deduced, and solution procedure as well as verification condition of this model is given; by a case study of the electromagnetic system of a certain type of AEMR, the electromagnetic system calculation model is established based on 2D MECF and the attractive force at different rotation angles is calculated; the proposed method is compared with the traditional lumped parameter model and finite element method(FEM); for some types of electromagnetic systems with symmetrical structure, 2D MECF proves to be of acceptable accuracy and high calculation speed which fit the requirement of robust design for AEMR. 展开更多
