Estimation of power transformer no-load loss is a critical issue in the design of distribution transformers. Any deviation in estimation of the core losses during the design stage can lead to a financial penalty for the transformer manufacturer. In this paper an effective and novel method is proposed to determine all components of the iron core losses applying a combination of the empirical and numerical techniques. In this method at the first stage all computable components of the core losses are calculated, using Finite Element Method (FEM) modeling and analysis of the transformer iron core. This method takes into account magnetic sheets anisotropy, joint losses and stacking holes. Next, a Quadratic Programming (QP) optimization technique is employed to estimate the incomputable components of the core losses. This method provides a chance for improvement of the core loss estimation over the time when more measured data become available. The optimization process handles the singular deviations caused by different manufacturing machineries and labor during the transformer manufacturing and overhaul process. Therefore, application of this method enables different companies to obtain different results for the same designs and materials employed, using their historical data. Effectiveness of this method is verified by inspection of 54 full size distribution transformer measurement data. 展开更多

The“Park City”concept presents a new,urban development model that can be used as a guide for planning the growth of a city.Advancing the transformation of Chengdu into a park city is an important and unique strategic option for maintaining and strengthening the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.The construction of a park city in Chengdu has many potentially positive and favorable outcomes,including maintaining natural ecosystems while improving biodiversity,livability,and enhancing the city’s historical and cultural heritage,all while establishing Chengdu as a national leader for this new urban development model.In recent years,park city scenescape modeling and the resulting ecological value transformations have been analyzed through theory,mechanism designs,and limited practice,but throughout the explorations on scenescape building and ecological value transformations,the actual construction of a park city is still facing many problems.This article argues that Chengdu should take lessons from the advanced experience in urban ecological construction efforts of other cities,both in China and overseas,focusing on sustained scenescape building,theoretical research in ecological value transformations,establishing meaningful and compatible interaction mechanisms between ecological value transformations and capital markets,improving the levels of planning and designing needed for scenescape building,establishing innovative scenescape building and ecological value transformations management systems and mechanisms,and cultivating park city scenescape brands.Related and detailed scenescape building and ecological value transformation measurement and policy suggestions are also provided in this article. 展开更多

Storing thermal energy in mass concrete floors would have a major impact on the stability of the temperature in buildings.The concept of a thermal battery refers to storing the supplied radiant heat and releasing this heat the next day through radiation and convection.In this study,an approach is introduced to examine the idea of thermal battery in thick concrete flooring(1.22 m)using the earth as a heat source.Controlled experiments were built and conducted on an instrumented 3000 m 2 industrial facility.The heating radiant floor combining with ground source system was operated during off-peak hours and the air conditioning system was disabled for 24 h during the test period.The heat pumps were operated in single stage using less power compared to when operated on demand.Indoor air temperature showed that 100(37.78℃)supply temperature at the ground source heat pump would be enough to maintain a stable warm temperature during cold days.Two weather conditions in the winter were selected to do the tests.The second test had a colder ambient temperature to verify the procedure.The indoor air temperature showed that the night heating system performs well for both cases because it maintained a constant temperature for the entire operational day even in the daytime when every heating unit was off.This approach of applying the heating at nighttime with lower electricity rates would lead to significant operational cost savings in the building. 展开更多

调研发现陕北地区自2010年以来降水量开始呈现明显增加的趋势,而传统窑洞屋顶缺少良好的防水设计,易导致窑洞在经受暴雨时漏水甚至坍塌。村民采取在原屋顶上加建彩钢板的改造方式防雨,然而这种窑洞屋顶构造的自更新不仅未能充分解决屋... 调研发现陕北地区自2010年以来降水量开始呈现明显增加的趋势,而传统窑洞屋顶缺少良好的防水设计,易导致窑洞在经受暴雨时漏水甚至坍塌。村民采取在原屋顶上加建彩钢板的改造方式防雨,然而这种窑洞屋顶构造的自更新不仅未能充分解决屋顶防水问题,还在一定程度上破坏了窑洞村落的传统风貌。以陕北地区传统民居的典型代表窑洞为研究对象,通过调研测试与软件模拟分析窑洞屋顶加盖彩钢板构造对室内热环境的影响,发现加盖彩钢板能够提升屋顶的耐久度和防雨性能,但是不能改善室内热环境,并且不能充分融入到传统的乡村环境中。在此基础上提出了新型窑洞屋顶构造,以期进一步改善屋顶防水性能并延续传统民居建筑风貌,为后期窑居建筑更新改造提供参考。 展开更多
