Intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set(IHFS)is amixture of two separated notions called intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFS)and hesitant fuzzy set(HFS),as an important technique to cope with uncertain and awkward information in realistic decision issues.IHFS contains the grades of truth and falsity in the formof the subset of the unit interval.The notion of IHFS was defined by many scholars with different conditions,which contain several weaknesses.Here,keeping in view the problems of already defined IHFSs,we will define IHFS in another way so that it becomes compatible with other existing notions.To examine the interrelationship between any numbers of IHFSs,we combined the notions of power averaging(PA)operators and power geometric(PG)operators with IHFSs to present the idea of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy PA(IHFPA)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy PG(IHFPG)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy power weighted average(IHFPWA)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy power ordered weighted average(IHFPOWA)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy power ordered weighted geometric(IHFPOWG)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy power hybrid average(IHFPHA)operators,intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy power hybrid geometric(IHFPHG)operators and examined as well their fundamental properties.Some special cases of the explored work are also discovered.Additionally,the similarity measures based on IHFSs are presented and their advantages are discussed along examples.Furthermore,we initiated a new approach to multiple attribute decision making(MADM)problem applying suggested operators and a mathematical model is solved to develop an approach and to establish its common sense and adequacy.Advantages,comparative analysis,and graphical representation of the presented work are elaborated to show the reliability and effectiveness of the presented works. 展开更多

Climate and weather-propelled wind power is characterized by significant spatial and temporal variability.It has been substantiated that the variability of wind power,in addition to contributing hugely to the instability of power grids,can also send the balancing costs of electricity markets soaring.Existing studies on the same establish that curtailment of such variability can be achieved through the geographic aggregation of various widespread production sites;however,there exists a dearth of comprehensive evaluation concerning different levels/scales of such aggregation,especially from a global perspective.This paper primarily offers a fundamental understanding of the relationship between the wind power variations and aggregations from a systematic viewpoint based on extensive wind power data,thereby enabling the benefits of these aggregations to be quantified from a state scale ranging up to a global scale.Firstly,a meticulous analysis of the wind power variations is undertaken at 6 different levels by converting the 7-year hourly meteorological re-analysis data with a high spatial resolution of 0.25◦×0.25◦(approximate 28 km×28 km)into a wind power series globally.Subsequently,the proposed assessment framework employs a coefficient of variation of wind power as well as a standard deviation of wind power ramping rate to quantify the variations of wind power and wind power ramping rate to exhibit the characteristics and benefits yielded by the wind power aggregation at 6 different levels.A system planning example is adopted to illustrate the correlation between the coefficient of variation reduction of wind power and investment reduction,thereby emphasizing the benefits pertaining to significant investment reduction via aggregation.Furthermore,a wind power duration curve is used to exemplify the availability of wind power aggregated at different levels.Finally,the results provide insights into devising a universal approach towards the deployment of wind power,principally along the lines of Net-Zero. 展开更多

Four new amphiphilic molecules, i.e., the bolaamphiphiles n-trimethylamino n-hexadecanoate (deAgr 16), n-dodecanoate (deAgr 12), n-undecanoate (deAgr 11), and n-octanoate (deAgr 8) were synthesized. Their ability as deaggregators to break up the aggregating systems of hexadecyl β-naphthoate (A16) and dodecyl β-naphthoate (A12) in dioxanewater binary solvent systems was investigated in a number of solvent systems and at different A16 and A12 concentrations. The results reveal that this new type of bolaamphiphilic molecules appears to be one of the most efficient deaggregators reported, which, at very low concentrations, can effectively break up the aggregating systems of highly concentrated A16 and A12. It is also found that bolaamphiphfles with longer aliphatic chains possess greater deaggregating ability. However, when the overall concentrations of A16 and A12 are very low but still above their critical aggregating concentration, these bolaamphiphilic molecules lose their deaggregating power and tend to coaggregate with the aggregated A16 or A12 molecules. The quite efficient deaggregating ability of the long-chain bolaamphiphfles (deAgr 16 and deAgr 12), as compared to the short-chain deAgr 8, has been ascribed to their dynamic switch-on/switch-off behavior involving coiled-up and uncoiled conformations of their long aliphatic chains. 展开更多

Objective: To observe effects of Dan Wei Powder (胆胃散 Powder for treating the gall bladder and stomach) Tea Bag (DWSTB) on the aggregation rate of blood platelet in vivo and in vitro. Methods: Increase of the platelet aggregation rate in the rat in vivo was induced by carrageenin, and increase of the rabbit platelet aggregation rate in vitro was induced by adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and collagen, respectively. The effects of DWSTB on the platelet aggregation rate were investigated in vivo and in vitro, respectively. Results: The maximum in vivo platelet aggregation rate in the rat was significantly decreased after administration of 2.0 and 4.0 g·kg-1 DWSTB (P<0.05.P<0.01). The maximum rabbit platelet aggregation rate induced by ADP and collagen in vitro were suppressed significantly by 2.0-16.0 mg·mL-1 and 2.0-8.0 mg·mL-1 DWSTB, respectively (P<0.05.P<0.01). And the effect of DWSTB on platelet aggregation was raised with increase ofits dose. Conclusion: Dan Wei Powder Tea Bag can restrain the aggregation of platelet in vivo and in vitro. 展开更多
